Went for diabetic eye test, man who did the screening was polite and efficient, arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment but was seen straight away, he was so helpful and tightened my glasses saving me waiting downstairs to do them. Very satisfied.

I was very excited about my new eyeglasses.I was also happy that they offer 1pair and2nd pair and half price. Everything was OK with the eye test and also they have lovely frames. I trust Vision Express but they disappointed regarding the cutting and fittest of the lenses on the frame. I choosed the offer that I mentioned earlier but I couldn't buy the second pair immediately so I asked the agent gently if they could keep it for me. They told me that is no problem and that I have 30 days to decide and pay. They assured me that they will keep the frame that I've chosen but when I went to buy the pair they told me that my frame is not available anymore even if no one noticed me about it by phone or email. I told them that this is not possible because the frame was reserved alrwsdy for me and that no one noticed me about that. I left the store that day very unhappy. In about 10 min the agent called me and told me that the frame is available and that is was a mistake. OK. Everything fine until here even if after they did my first pair I noticed that the lenses were cutted wrong and also not fitted well. When I was at the shop to talk about all details regarding my second frame they promised that with my second pair they will also order new lenses for my first pair and the technician admitted that the lenses were fitted and cutted wrong. I waited 2 weeks for someone to call me and tell me that my order is ready to collect. No one called me, no one emailed me. I called them in the end and the receptionist was very confused telling me that is not sure that she has my order ready. In the end she told me that the glasses are ready to collect for more than 1 week ago but no one was bothered to call me or e-mail me to collect them. Regarding the changing lenses for my first pair of glasses they completely forgot about it. To my second pair of glasses the lenses were fitted well but also one of the lenses was cuttet wrong. I paid more than 300£ and received this service. I was disappointed and very unhappy about it.i wear glasses since I was 7byears old and something like this never happened before. I'am not a rude person at all and I don't like conflicts but if I am paying for a service I am expecting to receive professional treatment and services. I will buy in the future sunglasses from them but never again eyeglasses. :(

The opticians who attended me were very polite and skilled in what they were doing as my eye test and eye exam showed. On top of this they have some very high tech equipment which shows a very professional approach to the procedures involved. Highly recommended.

Having been a happy customer with Vision Express - spending between £200 -400 on each eye test, i now find myself in the position of being wheelchair bound when outside and little or no mobility in the house. This was my situation at my visit last year too so they were aware when i was recently sent a barrage of letters and messages about “the importance of the tests”. As i am type 2 diabetic i need a yearly Retinopathy but now all the machines for this test are upstairs! (Although they had one downstairs last year.) I’m sure i don’t need to list the consequential difficulties for me and other disabled people due to this fact with no lift! I find the decision to do this highly discriminatory! As i am sure do others in my position. It seems that more and more of our rights are taken from us. Thanks Vision Express - but i have to say “there but for the Grace of God go i!” Much more consideration would be appreciated!!! Someone else will get my business now …. S E Yarwood

I just done my eye check and choice glasses. I hardly recommend Patrycja. She is very kindly, very helpful, nicely and she give good advice, and professional.
