I have been registered with the practice for 2 years and have for the most part received exceptional service. The reception staff have always been empathetic and helpful and the majority of doctors I have seen have listened well and helped me to understand what could be going on. I have had an incidence where beside manner was lacking and the conversation caused unnecessary anxiety for me but this is not representative of my whole experience.

I have been a patient in this practice for 2.5 years and predominantly the service is very good when you get an appointment with a doctor. All the doctors I have spoken to have been excellent. The telephone triage service has flaws because if you get the occasional receptionist who is busy, rude or obtuse, real clinical triage can be missed and that patient's care will be delayed or missed. I would like to see the practice manager responding to these reviews (like other practices do), so that patients can see that issues are being addressed and the practice's quality of care is improving continually under a quality system review. Excuses for poor quality of service, using UK Govt Covid rules or a lack of doctors, are, or should be, a thing of the past by now in all practices. Hopefully the practice manager can make this the best practice in Long Eaton in the near future. If she does, 5* ratings will be the norm as all patients will get the same level of service.

Rude staff (receptionist) constantly having to be chased up for simple test results. Have been waiting 8 days for an asthma chart to be looked at by the nurse… still hasn’t happened and can’t confirm when it will be, won’t pass it over to a doctor. Can’t book an appointment for love nor money, just seems to be all abit of a shambles. It is a shame because their are a few great doctors there that generally want to help!

You call at 8am and have to redial over 20 times to get through often not to then get an appointment.. If you can't call at 8am due to family or work commitments then you call later and all the appointments have gone. Bookings can be made when appointments are released earlier online. Isn't this discrimination against those who aren't IT literate? There must surely be a better system that can be put in place such as releasing some appointments later in the day, or allowing appointments to be released much further into the future for routine issues. Having seen many staff over the last few years I feel generally the care is good....when you actually can see someone. Although I did have a hugely botched referral for a health issue that then caused over 6 months delay on treatment.

Really great job to the doctors, nurses, and all the staff here; they've got some of the toughest work out there, and they always manage to surprise me with great amount of competence and composure. I can't thank them enough. Take care, folks.

We moved from Adam House Medical Centre Sandiacre to here and so pleased we did. Can't fault them although only thing it would be good if the NHS Prescription Service and Appointment texting worked better.

I am upset that I missed an appointment but I hold my hands up that it was my own fault as i simply forgot. However I would like to offer feedback that I really think the surgery should provide appointment reminder texts as in my case and I'm sure many other this would mean that appointments don't get missed. Life is busy and appointments are few and far between so I feel this would help both the surgery and the patients.

Staff have been amazing throughout covid! Receptionists ,especially Julie, have always been understanding and have gone above and beyond to help. I've never had to wait too long on the phone and have been able to get face to face appointments with a lovely Dr whala when needed. Thanks
