Parliament Oak

Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍👍 Great tree but a shadow of its former self. Estimated to be around 1200 years old. Thank you Sherwood Forest Trust for the very interesting information board. The tree appears healthier now than when the photos on the board were taken in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Very interesting, big board explaining everything, we went on the trail with the dogs as well, it was a nice walk to.

More interesting than the Major Oak in my view. But only 2 parking spaces so be mindful!

It's an old tree. There is no bench, just a tiny car park for two or three cars and an information board. Was nice to sit on the bank of the ditch and have a lunch break before carrying on.

Just a tree with an awful lot of history. One of the oldest oaks in the UK. Nothing else to see there though. King John's castle (ruins of) are a few miles down the road

This isn't a public park as such, It's a historic tree situated on forestry commission land. It's a lovely area with walks all-round.
