4/5's is women's wear but the mens clothes look great unfortunately not plenty of sizes either in stock or bigger sizes Prices are great and not going to put a massive hole in your wallet

This store is on station road.The store was tidy. Prices looked reasonable. Unfortunately they didn't have in stock what I wanted to buy.Nevertheless I will return in the future

Lovely clothes for me and my daughters, but put everything back as couldn’t try them on. Ended up spending £200 on our summer clothes elsewhere instead. I don’t always have time to return stuff, so would rather shop elsewhere.

Staff refuse to scan your items when paying by card. Then demand you take all hangers off clothes or they will charge you 10p per hanger. Which you then have to clear away. Then, one of the 3 staff members stood at the end of the tills. Have to check your receipt against your items. This system makes no sense at all. Why not just use the staff that are there to check you've paid. To scan your items ,take hangers, and ensure all items are scanned. Like most shops. The customer service from the older blonde lady was vile, she bit the head of 3 other customers in the time I was scanning my items. No wonder people shop online when there's no level of customer service in this shop.

Nice shop with a lot of selection and also they accept blue light cards.

I like this shop.Always has a lot of choice at good prices........Whether you're a young child, or a teenager, to the old lady clothes, that sparkle........... Everything you need in the household section. Sells shoes, boots and handbags,hats and scarves.....Sells boys, mens clothing .Nice lingerie section, Jim jams also..... A bit disappointed there was no assistant at the changing room, to help you.........they have do it yourself checkout, where you can get easily muddled..........But, on the whole, well presented, filled shop ,with gorgeous things.......

There is plenty of car parking and also wheelchair accessible

Think it’s really let the store down now there is no longer changing rooms. They was two families who left the store today as they couldn’t try on clothes. Very dissatisfied.

Have used Matalan for many years. Came in yesterday and picked items totalling over £100, told couldn't try anything on so promptly put them back. I can't be doing with taking them home to try on and then having to return if any issues. So time consuming and costly with petrol usage etc. Will think twice before using Matalan again !!

Several times I’ve been to this store now and always get the same issues. I’m all for using the self service checkouts. But if there is an issue with one of the machines there is never a quick way to solve the problem. Twice I’ve been over charged at the checkout due to items being priced wrong. And there is only one actual person on a Till and there’s usually a big que. So the idea of quickness goes out the window ! Staff are not friendly or welcoming and being in the store is like an inconvenience! No staff on hand to help with anything.

Love it love it love it, always get something right up my street, very good value and even got my hubby trousers and shoes, didn't have my size knickers though, but they have to sell out of things sometimes.

Absolute disgrace that in this day and age, they don't even have toilets ...not even for the disabled

Went with the wife for some clothes for her and you can actually try things on now..wife very pleased...my turn this time..

Love this shop. But it’s annoying that they allow you to order things online and then cancel your order a few days later. Why advertise and sell something that is out of stock.

I needed some new cushion covers. Called in the Sutton-in-Ashfield store. I found what I wanted. But they didn't have the quantity. I wanted. I asked the person that worked on the home department. Her name was leonna. She was really helpful. She took my phone number. Told me she would let me know when they are in stock. Thank you leonna. Great customer service. Very helpful. Lovely lady. Much appreciated. 👍😁

Always a long queue to pay, whilst self service checkouts are usually empty, more staff needed to man the tills

I was not impressed with this store as I went to look at clothes but when faced with a tramp with his trousers around his.knees I was.not impressed. Spoke to a member of staff about concerns as I was not impressed with the sight of this and they just said he is often in there. Well enough to put any woman off looking at clothes and they should have seen him off premises . I would add he was very dirty . Staff member just said.he often comes in - no way to increase sales. Very poor customer service. Young lady who served me left TWO security tags on my clothing. Got home and realised her mistake. Returned the clothing for tags to be removed. No apology. Woman who served me second visit proceeded to tell me how much she was sweating!! Yuk! Staff need some customer relations training ASAP

It would be better if they had better staff with better attitude. One staff member was very angry with me and my partner over the names of carrying bags. She was very nasty towards us and was also rolling her eyes over when my partner needed help. Unprofessional attitude. I wanted to make a complaint to the manager but my partner told me just to leave it.
