Went to this chip shop because of the rating it had, as not from the area. Can say 100% was not disappointed. Chips was fresh and very tasty. The fish was beautiful freshly cooked, crispy batter, also put a piece of card to separate Fish from the chip so didn't go soggy. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely traditional fish shop with delicious cooked to order fish and freshly prepared chips. They also have a range of traditional alternative meals. The mushy peas are just so delicious.

Finding a good fish and chips is easy. Finding a great one, isn't. Kelvins always delivers on a fantastic fish and chips. And don't get me started on their curry sauce. It's perfect. Although, you'll have to accept, that inevitably, you'll take the last bite of your fish and eat your last chip, and your delicious experience for the day will be over. They even have that little piece of grease proof paper they put on the chips inside, it's styled like newspaper. Reminds me of back when I was a kid.

We're lucky to have the place in the village. Always a friendly welcome. The food is made to order, and the quality is consistently excellent. Very tasty.

Having come across Kelvins about 6 months ago it's has become our Saturday night treat,it's a round trip of 12 miles but we'll Thankyou Kelvin. worth.We actually sit outside and eahat lovely big fish it's too delicious to wait for.

we have been here numerous times as it’s the only chippy close by, the service is great but the food is ridiculously soggy and greasy and the portions tiny. We have had to throw half of it away tonight as we just can’t eat it, really disappointing.

Nice food but the portions are baby sizes Need to give more for your money.

Found this fish bar while at work, ordered fish an chips, container had chips then a foil card to separate fish from chip, batter was golden a fluffy crispy with a great crunch to the last bite, the cook is a genius.

Great chippy that has now become a weekly ritual for us after moving to the area. Amazing food in quick times and friendly service. One of the best.

Have dined for many years on Kelvin's fish and chips, and occasionally on their other fare, and it is always excellent, with pleasant quick service, and very good value for money.

Good chips, ready to collect when we arrived. Can't really comment on the atmosphere as it was a takeaway. All in all, a good place to go.

Kelvin is a master of fish and chips. His staff are delightful. The best fish and chips outside of Devon and Cornwall.
