Very friendly, professional opticians that put me at ease over my broken glasses. They also got all of my eye tests etc done on at the same time, very thoroughly & explained everything to me. The technology Vision Express uses nowadays is fascinating! I was just in Loughborough today to collect some glasses . The male staff member that served me was amazing so so helpful. Although I feel there was only a couple of members of staff on and the shop was extremely busy . They really needed to be more staff on to reduce wait time for customers . I did not have to wait long as I had to state that I needed to be at Dr appointment. The staff member was amazing to me . But I think staffing needed to be looked at today .

These places have turned into the eye-wear equivalent of the double glazing sales experience , smiley attentive staff intent on unscrupulous upselling to the poorly sighted. They've lost a sale of 2 x pairs of glasses as its just not pleasant and all so obviously forced and targetted.

We took my 5 year old daughter for her first eye test here on Saturday. To start with she was really nervous, but the staff were great, they didn't rush us and explained all the machines to make her feel comfortable. Once in the eye exam, the Optom was amazing, splitting his time between talking directly to her and me. Making small talk with a nervous 5 year old is a real skill. I would definitely recommend a visit to this store.

I would like to thoroughly thank Alex & Priya for their incredible customer service yesterday to get my complicated contact lenses delivered in time for a very time critical deadline, simply the best service I have ever received from any Vision Express store. They've even arranged to post my lenses to another store for me to pick up, whilst I'm away from home , absolutely World Class service 👏👏👏

Very professional and friendly service. The eye test was very straightforward and everything was explained with regards to my new prescription. Irina helped me choose my glasses so that I could take advantage of the monthly plan.She was so helpful and very patient with me.

I started going vision express 12 month ago ,I can honestly say how lovely all the staff are and you get a thorough eye check up ,there's no rushing you ,it's just relaxing I'm glad I changed to vision express .

My first time to have an eye test and I was accomodated on the same day and staff are fantastic... and the advert is wrong... you should come to Vision express rather than Spec Savers! 🤣

Absolutely fantastic. About 4 weeks ago I took my almost broken glasses into your Loughborough store to see if they could be mended. I was greeted by Nadeem and he got to work on fixing them straight away. He managed to get them back together for free !!!! And all within about 15 mins. He made sure I knew they were on there last legs and I should think about getting a knew pair... ( I had sat on them) After a millions try ons of glasses all over Loughborough I had found a pair I liked. I took a picture of myself in them mulled the picture over the week and went back in to pick them. Unfortunately I couldn't find them. As a last attempt I asked Vivien if she knew which glasses they were in the picture to my shock she said yes and rummaged about in the draws ( they had recently had a change round) and picked the glasses straight out. She added the SKU onto my account to it was easy to get the process started. When I went to collect after only 7 days ... so fast. Dhruva was so happy and all smiles to help hand them over. He explained i have 30 days to get some prescription sun glasses with money off. Which I had forgotten. So that was great. I will be back in store to pick them shortly. The whole journey through your Loughborough store was a delight. I was left to look alone but there was always someone if I needed help. The team are fantastic. I always receive such good customer service at Vision Express. I made the mistake of trying Specsavers as they had frames I preferred but the difference is night and day! VE is calmer, less rushed and just a whole lot friendlier! Everything is explained well and I feel like I'm given thorough answers rather than being fobbed off. Highly recommend Vision Express and won't go anywhere else in future.

Tried to book a appointment on the 12/09/22 for my family and told not available to book in one day but have to split it into two days. Literally told no other option, what kind of service is this from a leading optician. Absolutely a disgrace, book elsewhere.

The staff were pleasant, helpful, efficient and knowledgable. I was very pleased with my appointment and the treatment I received.

I have used the Loughborough branch for years, most recently I have started using contact lenses again and the care and attention I have received from the team has been second to none, special mention to Hanna who was incredibly patient! What a great team!

Came in for a sight test, a pair of varifocals and an 'occupational' pair of varifocal mid-range/reading glasses. Extremely thorough professional eye examination, and helpful advice on lenses and frames. Highly satisfied, and looking forward to getting the glasses.

Just had my annual sight test and eye health check. I do like going there. Everyone is so gentle, helpful, respectful and caring. My visit was slightly complicated (from my perspective) by a very recent poorly upper arm. But everyone was able to make and suggest alterations to ensure that my appointment proceeded as normal. The staff were really helpful, and lovely. They even bent the rules a little when I forgot to bring the print out of the voucher I had! Very thorough, and explained everything. There was no pressure to buy, they ran through the available options and confirmed that it was only a small change but may help with prolonged wear, ultimately leaving me to go away and consider what I would like to do. Would definitely recommend.
