I just got done eating lunch here. I found a feather in one of my chicken tenders. The waitress then told me she can take it off but she could bring me new ones if I wanted and I said yeah that’s fine. Then the waitress told the manager and he proceeded to tell me that that some tenders can have a feather in there. Which is disgusting to me. The manager also told me he’ll still take my meal off of my bill and he’d bring me a new meal so I said okay that’s fine. Bill comes and my meal is on there. Person I was with went to tell the manager and he told him that he can not take it off since they already made me a new meal. I am spending money at your restaurant and your cooks didn’t stop and double check my food or they would’ve noticed there was a feather in it.

Place used to be super. Service terrible and slow. Took forever for Trina to show up. Forever to get food and especially refills. Food was good especially catfish and country fried steak. Some of best turnip greens I ever had. Lots of ham seasoning them. Hope they return to old ways soon.

Cracker Barrel should be ashamed to serve anyone what they did. This was supposed to be roast beef dinner with Mac n cheese, and potatoes with brown gravy. Was completely inedible. **Gave this Cracker Barrel another try and received worse food this time. I will not be going to or ordering from this location again.**Picture 2 with 1 side showing is the 2nd chance meal.

Food was good but the proportion of scrambled eggs was light in consideration of the price. The restaurant was clean, the waitress and employees polite and courteous. The service wasn't up to par so I deducted a Star because of the proportion compared to price, and the service issue.

Food was good. But this place is nasty. We are here @7:30 am . No customers at all. Floor was not clean anywhere and the tables were still dirty from last shift we guess.

We just love eating cold food! We placed an online order on 11/3023. Around three pm. We got to the restaurant. The cashier's were very prompt and courteous. Waited on food. Finally received the bag. Checked food. I ordered barrel loaded fries. I opened up the fries, picked up one fry and all the other fries came up with the one fry with hardly no visible cheese. The fries looked stale and old. I had it sent back to reorder. I was told 5 minute wait. That wait turned into 15 minutes. The order looked completely different from the first order. When we finally were able to eat, the other food was cold. Partly because the frozen meal had been placed on our warm meal. Ugh! We paid and even left a tip when we placed our order. So then why couldn't this restaurant do their part!????? After waiting so long, I felt like a nuisance just standing near the register! Other paying customers kept staring at me wondering why I'm just standing close to the check out counter doing nothing. I don't blame the stares, I would be staring and confused too. Horrible experience!

😞 👀 at the pic. Order was late and biscuits was delivered to me BURNT. I didn’t order “smothered and covered “ with black and burnt. I could get that at Waffle House. At least, it wouldn’t be burnt. Who would let this leave a kitchen, and be presented to a costumer? This standard of service is ridiculous. Smokey 🐻 would enjoy this. Not I. Cracker Barrel should be ashamed of service food ( 🗑️ ) like this to ANYONE. Yes, I called and left a voicemail with the Corporate office in Lebanon, TN. Yet, I 👂 nothing but 🦗. It explains why this type of service ( lack of) is taking place at Cracker Barrel.

Very slow service. Our server brought our food out before we had silverware and had to wait several minutes before her return. We asked for to go containers, waited awhile before having to ask again. I overheard other groups complaining about wait times and service as well. The food was made to order, hot and good flavor.

Was told 25 minute wait time by the bored host who didn’t bother to look up to acknowledge a customer was standing in front of him. I looked at the seating area and only a few tables in the middle had customers sitting. I took pics and will include on this comment. The restaurant was practically empty at 7:11pm. I left when I figured they don’t want business and went to IHOP down the street. I left $40 at IHOP and had good service along with tasty food. This Cracker Barrel is horrible. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

This is terrible! I called an order in at 6:18 pm. At 6:40 pm I asked about the order. The Kitchen Manager said they cook them to order(I arrived at 6:30 for Cornbread and Biscuits not ready) they gave me these burnt Cornbread Muffins and 6 butter packs for 14 Cornbread Muffins. The manager said some people like them like that. Not me! At 6:52 pm the manager that made the some people like them comment brought me some decent Muffins. The service at McDonough Cracker Barrel has gone from ok to TERRIBLE and management is worse.

What I ordered vs what I received. I'm usually not one to complain about my food bc I don't want folks putting extra stuff in my new order. But this is what my daughter usually orders so I know that it has and can look better than presented. Told my waitress that I just want to get something else even asked if the bread got smaller.. lol. The manager came out and asked me what was wrong with the food. Told him the serving size was not what I was used to eating here. I even showed him the pic. Now I know food is never made like the pic but come on ..the presentation of it all turned me off. As a manager just apologize and ask what else I would like....he took the plate asked what I wanted and left. I hope he trashed it and not put it in the warmer for the next order. By the way...my waitress was very nice and even told me to keep the original plate, but the mgr took it ..lol

My wife and I have felt that Cracker Barrel had fallen off over the last couple of years but yesterday changed all that. The store has always been top notch but the service and food were impeccable. The manager at this McDonough location must be doing a remarkable job because his/her employees were awesome. They’re friendly, attentive, personable and the cook was way better than expected. We’ve always loved Cracker Barrel and are extremely happy that we had that experience yesterday with hopefully many more to come.

Our waitress was wonderful. But it took an hour to get our food and when we finally got it, it was gross. I asked to speak to the manager and all he did was give us an old brownie. Nothing was done about the food or the extremely slow service.

Best Cracker Barrel I’ve been to in a while. The ambiance is cozy as usual. Our server Kia was best waitress ever very patient, efficient, and attentive without me having to ask. Blueberry are not supposed to be that good! Soft with crispy grilled pancake edges. Management noticeably was attentive to detail/order of his staff. Everyone there seemed to care about their restaurant. Will have to come back in winter when fireplace is on.

At what point is your carry out customer more important that your dine in customer. All the close parking taken, 5+ minutes to be greeted at hostess stand.

The food was very disappointing. We ordered dinner fry chicken with two sides. Fried chicken was not fresh or the Biscuits . We love cracker Barrel Biscuits. One more on Saturday night, it was not many people. Usually, we wait for 20 to 30 minutes. The food is not good and needs more clean. The for and coffee ☕️ dirty. We love cracker Barrel. This was disappointing 😞

I've done many take outs at this location and have dined in a few times as well. But Sunday, I was disappointed with the food quality. The French toast was Itty bitty and cold. The eggs were also cold. Even when I've done take out, the food was still warm once I got home. So my suggestion would be, don't go on a Sunday.

Update: TOOK ME 3 HOURS TO GET A MANAGER ON THE PHONE!!! DISGUSTING!!!! Prior Review: I ordered online and had someone pick it up as I was at work. When I got my food, I had silverware for one of the two meals I ordered and was missing condiments such as syrup for my french toast and pancakes and missing the fresh fruit that was supposed to be on pancakes. I called and the manager offered me a free entree next time. So I am calling today because I don't like to wait too long then they get amnesia. So I'm calling cause I can't place a comped meal online. Been on hold for 20 minutes waiting on a manager.....#WontEatHereAgain

Called in order fir pickup Sunday evening. Doors were locked upon arrival, one persons food was missing completely & my loaded baked sweet potato was cold to the touch. I have never been disappointed with Cracker Barrell before thus but It was actually gross. The marshmallow looked like a fried egg & I couldn’t tell you what the brown lump was, def not brown sugar. Lastly, I guess since it was closing time all the manners had already gotten off because the staff was super rude. Very disappointing & will not be back. Thanks

We arrived for breakfast. The food was delicious. The Chicken and waffles are BOMB!! Mimosas we good. We tried the peach 🍑 flavor (When in GA, right!!?) The wait was forever. Our server was friendly. Plan ahead, limited seating and there will likely be a wait depending on your arrival time.

Got there at 7pm and was told we had at least a 25 minute wait. 1 hour and 10 minutes later we got seated. We were being understanding because of our party size (7). At 8:30 we still didn't even have our drinks, shortly after that our server started bringing everything out. The food was amazing. They closed at 9 and it was clear they wanted us out because even our server didn't have his apron on as they cleaned around us. Not the experience we expected out of Cracker Barrel.

Cracker Barrel is always a treat, the Cheesecake Pancakes are worth stroking out over, and stop by the store for some ole time favorites like Moonpies, Hydrox cookies, and Goo Good and wah en all down with a bottle of Cherriwine soda.
