Beautiful and calm park, with a lot of trees to shelter you. There's amazing views of the mountains, and you'll find there's restrooms, a small shop to buy drinks/snacks and barbecue areas. It's the perfect place to stop and relax while visiting Serra de Estrela.

Great natural camping area althouth neglected and not looked after. The source of the Zêzere river, awesome to see water coming from the rocks onto a stream. Lots of natural trees, green areas with great views and the mountanous landscape with boulders dotted throughout. For those adventurous enough, a challenging climb up the rocks. Not suitable for those with mobility difficulty. Amazing picture

What a beautiful stop! The start of the Zêzere river is right there, in a lovely park with picnic tables and a mini-hike. We stayed for an hour playing on the grass, but I can imagine a long afternoon with lunch and some frisbee or soccer.

There is parking in front of the park. It's very nice for walking and to bring the pets for a little exercise. Due to a few tourists that don't clean after using it, it's a bit untidy in a few parts.

Wonderful place! Go during the week. The road from Manteigas takes you more than half an hour because of the waiting in traffic stops. At least you have a beautiful view and can leave the car as you wait about 10 minutes between each stop. Go with sunlight. Early morning, until 4 in the afternoon...

I really like this stop in Serra da Estrela. This park is beautiful and has barbecue in the garden. We went in the winter and there were snow but I think during spring and summer it is a very good place to spent a day relaxing
