Wow! What a unique and pleasant surprise of a meal! I would drive out of my way for that unexpectedly sweet, dill gravy and mashed potatoes! The green bean soup with dill was great as well! The Reuben sandwich and Braut were pretty standard, but add the housemate saurkraut and gravy and you're in for a treat! The dill potatoes salad wasn't my favorite (I'm not a fan of bacon bits flavor). As for the breakfast, the omelette was okay. The waffle was a little dry. I would come for lunch instead. I'll be back to try the famous carrot cake! 😋 ***if you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up. 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

We have been here a few times. Love the fresh food option for this area, where most things are fried or fast food. Not a lot to choose from in menu options so find it online first. Sandwich’s are amazing. Potato salad in not great, some of the other German options are good if you are looking for that. I am German and like many things here. Some are a little simple. Price is $$$ so not cheep for a family of 4-6. Love the environment in the summer here! They were out of soup today and the drink machine was 😞

Great food!! The bratwurst dinner was great! The gravey on the potatos was delicious, and like nothing I have ever tasted. My wife got a dinner salad topped with bratwurst. She was a little hesitant but ended up really enjoying it! The carrot cack was AMAZING! We will definitely be back when we are in that neck of the woods!!

It's been two months since my first visit to Das Cafe and I was so impressed that I'm writing a review now. We were holding a family burial in Mt Pleasant with a large family group. We called Das Cafe an hour before closing and asked if they could accommodate a large group. They welcomed us with open arms. 10 min later our group of about 30 people was seated and ordering from their menu. The food was fast and super tasty. From burgers to waffles to traditional German food and even hot chocolate all 30 of us were impressed with our food. The staff stayed late to accommodate our group and seemed appreciative of our business rather than inconvenienced. We were so impressed. They were a bright spot in a hard day! We will definitely be back when we're traveling through from out of state.

I love the food. Wife had the waffle with fruit. It was great. I had the German breakfast Sausage, but they have not been able to get the German Breakfast Sausage for a couple of weeks. I substituted a Braut. It was a really good Braut, but not designed to have with eggs and German potatoes. It’s not their fault, there are no German breakfast sausages available from their supplier.

The food is always excellent. We got the kraut burger and the lunch special which was beef goulash and cabbage. It was sooo good. They also have the best carrot cake ever. 🤤

Very cute place! And amiable service. I highly recommend the carrot cake. It's super dense and chunky with nuts and raisins and carrots.

4.6/5 stars. Nestled in beautiful Sanpete County town, Das Cafe stands apart from what are otherwise burger and fast food joints. True to roots of Spring City’s European settlers, Das Cafe strikes a pleasant cord with mostly German dinner fare. The brats are delicious— and the carrot cake, rich. Service can be slow on a busy Saturday and you want to avoid sitting in the dark annex adjoining the main building.
