First time here but not our friends. They have been a few times and wanted us to try this restaurant. It is a great place for sharing plates. They have a great selection of tapas, and everything was delicious. There are so many flavours. My best tapas were the Bollo and Carrots dish , yum. The theater for the Cecina dish was beautiful. I won't spoil what they do. See for yourself. Everything was fantastic, thanks so much.

Words cannot describe. My partner and I both agree it was some of the best food we have experienced in our lives. There was almost a sense of loss upon finishing the meal, knowing we are only travelling through and may never taste that food again. The service was also incredible, and the views over the harbour were beautiful. Especially recommended the house sangria and the Cecina.

our lunch experience was amazing! it was our friends' birthdays and they were given two free desserts each which are yummy! i love the Pollo Agidulce. the octopus (Pulpo) was cooked excellently. my friends also ordered several tapas and they were all good. we shared 3 raciones and they were enough for 4 people. It was very filling. I love the sangria de la casa. Tom who waited on us was amazing as well. the view of the wharf added to a very good dining ambience. highly recommend!

Spanish food in a good location overlooking Auckland port. Enjoy the scenery in daylight if possible. The food menu is recommended with small tapas for one person each. Each person should order 2-3 items of their choice. Of course, Paella de marisco (seafood and rice paella) is a must. My recommendation is the Flan (Spanish creme caramel pudding). The dessert menu is separate from the main course, so ask the waiter. You will enjoy the best pudding in Auckland.

Wonderful exciting variety of tapas. We halved 5 tapas and got two mains which was surprisingly filling and great value for money. Friendly, attentive service and lovely view. Would definitely recommend :D

Service was mostly excellent. We had a really good waitress from Colombia. Another waitress brought us the wrong food. We sat there confused for a few minutes as you don't expect that in a restaurant like this but they retrieved it. The food was mostly really good. The tapas and apertivos were excellent. Especially the mussels. Was a bit disappointed with the raciones. The patatas bravas were too salty I imagine they salted the potatoes then each of the sauces then combined it made for too much salt and definitely not as good as the ones you get in the laurel which are quarter the price, but these may be the best in the world so maybe not a fair comparison. Also I was kind of expecting the setas to be like the ones in the laurel too but basically it was like one seta and all potatoes instead of a plate of setas. I will try different ones next time or stay away from the raciones.

Had our Christmas pre-party gathering here: view is awesome, location is awesome, staff is friendly. Snack is too pricey for the tiny portion. All the bites are $12+ each. One of our main has a hair on top, they took it away and put the same dish back in 3 mins. Then one of us found another short hair and was not bothered to let them know, as they were not planned to serve a new one apparently. Did not get any apology or discount for the bill either

Over hyped restaurant. Gone there for our 2Years anniversary - reviews tempted me to reserve a table for our special day. ‘Wagyu Bavette’ tasted very average for $65 (no paprika rub favour), no flavour in other dishes as well - overpriced. Expectation was high, definitely not worth $148 and ended up going elsewhere.

We ordered a range of dishes from three sections of the menu: Tapas, Raciones and Parilla. Some of the dishes we ordered consisted of Tartare, Bollo, Cloudy bay clams (special tapas), Setas, Paella, Charred Lamb (special of the day), Churros, Lava cake, drinks, etc. Highlights of the night were: 1. Tartare: The wagyu rump is flavorful and absolutely melts in your mouth. The cracker, giving just the right amount of crunch. 2. Bollo: The sauce (Red Mojo) goes very well with the potato and chorizo, and adds kick. 3. Paella: This was devine. It might come across as a bit pricey but is probably equivalent to 2-3 mains. There was quite a variety and generous amounts seafood. You will not regret ordering this. When we booked online we noted we were celebrating a birthday, and they put "Happy Birthday" on the Churros that we ordered. The staff were also quick to clear plates and tried to keep out of the way during the dining experience. One thing they can improve on is the lighting. Although we went for dinner, the lights seems a bit a too dim. Perhaps candles on the table might help, but otherwise everything was great :)
