Place has changed through the years. Through COVID really!… Sitting area inside isn’t back, it’s in the back side of the place, outside. Service was good and fast! Both baristas were friendly. The quality of the drinks was 7/10 I’d say! Pretty smooth milk steaming abilities from the barista! The pastries are pretty good as well, unique offerings! You are probably not going to find these offerings at Starbucks or any other ~lower scale~ coffee shop! Prices are definitely high :/ Will definitely be back :)

I recommend this spot for a number of reasons. 1) Top-notch coffee. They do a great job with Olympia Roasters. 2) They hire well. New hires make the coffee well and are respectful. We’re the type of customers to ask a lot of questions and specifics. Everyone’s been very patient and helpful. 3) Great for anyone looking to grab n go. 4) I’m not much of a drinker and I have yet to try their food, so no comments there.

Loved this coffee house. There coffee has such a rich taste and love how foamy there drinks are. The coffee house is a tight fit but well laid out. They are using mask rules and 6 feet distancing so be prepared to stand away from people and maybe outside. Love all the natural and organic wines and beers they have so much to look at. Will definitely go again next time we are in burien. If you want to sit outside they offer a bench on the sidewalk and the town square is right across the road from them.

Don’t miss out on Burien Press! Love when coffee shops offer a fun seasonal menu with rotating drinks. This last time I was in their seasonal menu included a lavender blossom latte! Yum! In addition to excellent lattes they offer ciders and kombucha on tap and delicious pastries with several dairy free/gluten free options. Cute seating area in the back including an amazing deck which is dreamy when the weather is nice. Staff has always been notably friendly and upbeat :) It’s a popular spot so there is usually a bit of a line. Worth it!

Reliable coffee place where the milk is well - steamed, where the taste of coffee is not buried in the flavouring, and where such factors are consistently found in the drink. Possible reasons: whole milk and double shots as standard features. Have not found another shop in Burien/Renton that is similar.

This is a cute lil place we were recommended to stop by & we were not disappointed! The lavender vanilla latte was delicious! They have seating in the back & we got to enjoy the which which was delicious as well! The staff was super friendly & very polite to all the people they served, it was really busy but they didn’t seem to let that bother them.

Really cute, quaint coffee shop that opens earlier than other shops in the area. Pretty straight forward when you walk in. Cool that it has little knickknacks you can browse for in addition to coffee if you’d want! Service was really friendly and intentional. Drinks were good. Quiche was also good. Wish we could’ve tried a ham croissant, but it was sold out. I recommend coming here overall!

A neighborhood coffee shop in Burien, its staff is friendly and upbeat, making you feel good even before you have your coffee. Their coffee is decent though nothing spectacular, pastries look nice but I opted for their made to order breakfast sandwich for my empty stomach, and that was decent too. The shop is conveniently located in the town center. Like many other fun neighborhood coffeehouse, they also carry a big selection of bottles wines.

My favorite lil coffee shop around. Such a cool place right in downtown Burien, the selection is fantastic from wine and beer and all that to pastries and delicious food, and of course the drinks/espresso/coffee is always great no matter what you get. This place is the bees knees

Friendly and warm service from the staff. Love the options and seasonal choices. Only thing is the matcha latte isn’t to my expectations. I’m more of a matcha drinker than a coffee one and I could barely taste the matcha on their drink version. I’ve tried several from the area and in Japan. Would love if they had a deeper matcha flavor instead of the milk taking over. Other than that the service and warmth is one of the best.

Excellent coffee and teas. Great wine and cafe food selection. And a fantastic patio area with picnic style tables, couches, etc. And the staff, super sweet and friendly.

Went in yesterday expecting a great cup of coffee from a local shop. What I received may be the worst coffee I've ever had. Is this stuff brewed with dirty socks? Ketchup? What is that awful taste? I tried several sips and swished it around to be sure it wasn't me or the coffee settled somehow. It wasn't me. $4 and undrinkable.

This is a really awesome coffee shop with incredible food and a really big selection of wine, beer and more. They are located right in downtown Burien and of course offer delicious coffee to do not miss out on the food which is cooked with love and always absolutely delicious..

The drip coffee was delicious here, which seems to be becoming a rare thing nowadays. We enjoyed the food and pastries, and were happy to see that the place is environmentally conscious.

Felt unwelcome after I was told to move away from another customer. I was one of the few people in the place to be wearing a mask but didn't meet the stringent requirements for social distancing. Good coffee though.

Stopped by to try the decaf espresso, ended up getting the Mocha Arbol, which is a seasonal drink that was absolutely delightful. Will definitely stop by when I’m in the area again!

Love this coffee shop! It's a little pricey (Americano is over $4.50), but the staff is beyond friendly and helpful...every single time, and the coffee always tastes delish. They have a nice selection of sweet and savory items to start the day. They also have an excellent selection of alcohol, as well.

Walked in, took one look and walked out. Giant red tape arrows on the floor telling you to crawl thru the maze. No thanks; done, long done with that bs. In response to the business’s reply: Wasn’t triggered or angry. Simply expressing my legitimate experience at my visit to your establishment. 1 star for creating a very unwelcoming “walk through our maze of trinkets for sale, give us your money, take your coffee and leave” feeling.

This was a perfect coffee shop! To be fair, we ventured quite far from where we were for the day to find this place (Southcenter) but it was well worth the drive! To our surprise, they served Olympia coffee, one of our favorites! We are coffee snobs, that's why we couldn't find anything in Southcenter We got 2 lattes, a bag of coffee beans, and a biscuit with jam. Everything was delish and the guy at the front let me know they make all their food in house - UM DOUBLE YUM! Another awesome revelation is that Moonshot coffee is their sister cafe! And it was the other option on our list Can't wait to try Moonshot and come back to Burien Press. Note: there's still no indoor seating, but it's right across from a park with benches.

I love this place. It's my weekend treat. They mostly specialize in dessert coffee but it is completely delicious and worth every sip. If your taste runs to beer and wine, they have a complete, local selection. Staff is lively and personable. The only drawback is that there is no place to sit down... which I suppose is not much of an issue, given the apocalyptic watercolor blur of doom that has comprised the last 3 years of life on Earth. Still, now that we're all emerging from our cocoons...tables would be great. That way we can order second rounds! Great place. Go there.

Best coffee in Burien! We especially love their seasonal drinks. We just had iced Lavender Blossom Lattes with oat milk, and they were perfect for the warm weather. Importantly, the service has been the same, excellent, every single time I have gotten coffee there (a few times per month for the last 6 months), which we appreciate! FYI: there is no seating, but during good weather, it’s easy to find a bench on the sidewalks or sit in the park right across the street to enjoy your drink. We strongly recommend Burien Press!

I went here with my girlfriend excited to try our first Washington coffee. We got a pesto grilled cheese sandwich and a mocha latte. The grilled cheese sandwich was actually delicious but the mocha latte was really bad. It was extremely weak with only a hint of chocolate and coffee. We were both very disappointed given the reviews but it may have just been a bad batch.

I really like the atmosphere here and the coffee is delicious 🤤 I am new to the area and so far this is one of my favorite places to go! I also picked up a pale ale for my bro in law while getting my matcha latte! Highly recommend
