Magnificent sunsets over a very quiet lake. The stars are incredible... you can even see the milky way. The bay is home to swarms of ducks, geese, even swans. In the winter you can find otters playing on the ice. Bald eagles are often seen above the water...the are nesting in the general area. The sweetest owners in the world with the sweetest kids on the planet. Watched a guy land a big bass right by their mailbox...

Hands down one of the best finds we have stumbled upon. So much that we already booked our third trip for camping there!! The owners go out of their way to memorize your name and make you feel very welcome. The cabins are equipped with essentials you might forget to pack. I forgot coffee filters and salt and pepper and was happy to see them in the drawer. Being right on the water is a plus adding many activities to do without leaving the property. Highly recommend this place!!! Kid friendly as well :)

Peaceful retreat next to a beautiful lake. Our family has been coming here for years to escape the busyness of life. The new owners are very friendly and our kids loved playing with their children during the day and gathering around the campfire at night.

Beautiful, quiet, and tranquil place to get some R&R. Prices are extremely affordable. Zero complaints. Keep up the fantastic work Wes Point Shores!!

I highly recommend this resort. My family has visited during the summer as a family vacation and I also visit annually for deer camp. The cottages are well equipped and are very clean. The owners are super nice people that continue to improve their resort.

Been coming up to the Alpena area for years. It's been a family tradition. Love the cabins and atmosphere at Wes Point Shores. It's now under new management and they are doing a fine job as owners.

Beautiful place. Wonderful Hosts who think of everything. I forgot coffee filters and viola they were there. We rented a 29 ft Jayco camper. Pots, pans, dish soap, even oven mitts. Definitely going back next summer.

My kids count down our trip to Wes Pointe Shores like it’s Christmas. The cabins are nestled back on a peaceful part of the lake with the perfect up-north feel. The owners & their family have dedicated their lives to create a place where we can come relax and enjoy God’s masterpieces. We can really relax with the land, sunsets, fresh air, water, wildlife & family all around us. The cabins aren’t fussy but are kept very, very clean. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. 15 mins from town, party stores near by, no hustle & bustle…forces us to slow down. Heidi & Dustin bring glory to God in giving families, couples or even individuals a chance to be still. ♥️

Best place to enjoy sunset. They have so many activities to do outdoors. Great location. Beautiful energy. Totally recommended. Already planning to come back for a longer visit ❤️

Phenomenal place to vacation! Family has been going there for almost 60 years with no plans of stopping anytime soon. The new owners are great hosts and very accommodating (and still enjoy seeing the old owners when we go up). Fishing is good, and just an overall relaxing place. Looking forward to many more years vacationing here.

Me and my family visit Alpena atleast twice a year from north central Pennsylvania and we just found this place and stayed for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it! After the first night we decided this will be our go to every time we visit! Very clean and comfy and cozy! This place beats a 5 star hotel!

Owners were awesome and extremely friendly and welcoming. Cabins were all very nice and very clean. It's great that every cabin had its own dock if you were there to fish. Even had thier own boat landing.

I spent a couple of nights here in late May 2023. Great hosts and a nice comfortable cabin. Surprisingly quiet at night.

Been coming here since I was 10 years. This year will be 37 years of coming to this wonderful place. Heidi and Dustin have continued the tradition and welcomed us like family.
