Quiet, relaxing ambience and cozy, spacious lounge feel. Haven't tried their coffee yet, but their homemade snacks and pastries are terrific. Curbside parking available on limited basis, some 90 min close by but some 4 hr. a few blocks away, too.

This was the first place I visited on my visit to Fargo, as I sought out a bit of a calm, quiet space to get a drink, connect to wifi, find my bearings, and maybe get some tips for the area. All three needs were met. The chai I ordered was expertly prepared my very kind and helpful staff, who not only made me feel welcome and valued with their attitude but also provided me with a few tips for enjoying the city. The space had a good energy, WiFi was reliable, and the seating was cute and cozy. I would definitely stop back by here for a drink if I find myself in town again. 💙☕🍵

Five stars no questions asked. The staff is so nice, carrying and fun. We had a lovely chat with them. The price is fair and the coffee is good. Everything as expected. Look up when entering the building the big giant cross beam made out of cast irons. It is how the front of the building is supported permitting those beautiful tall glass opening. This is typical modern built from the 1800s. This was one of the first building in Fargo. The train delivered the raw materials and they build that strip right away. The decorations inside is no e showing off some of the original features of the building. Owner love to talk about his building and the history of the area. Really love spot to have a coffee.

It has a classic eclectic coffee house feel with a nice selection of breakfast and lunch food. In addition, there is a wide variety of muffins and scones. Of course, the coffee is always fresh and well made.

I’ve always wanted to go here, but never got around to it. I’m so happy I got food here this morning, everyone was so nice and everything was served in such a timely manner! I got a black cold brew and a breakfast quesadilla, and YUM. Thank you so much, the ambiance and quality was amazing!

Love the decorations and vibe of this cafe. The breakfast quesadilla is all that it’s cracked up to be and there are several options for customization. It was larger than expected and very filling - a great way to fuel up before exploring downtown Fargo.

The atmosphere here was such a vibe, cozy and energetic at the same time. The staff was very helpful with my food questions and the food was top notch, probably the best Ceasar salad I've had. And I hear the coffee is amazing.

Love the coffee their dancing goat blend is my favorite and the monster cookies are my husbands favorite. Their lunch options are wonderful. I prefer this coffee over any chain option in Fargo.

Review Date: July 12th, 2015 On the journey to Canada, my cousin’s family and I stopped in Fargo, ND to grab some coffee to help perk us up after driving all night and it was a great stop. Inside Babb’s is a cozy coffeehouse with a very nice staff and your typical menu for food and drinks. I bought us all drinks to help revive everyone since we had been driving non-stop at that point, with a quick stop in Minneapolis, MN for breakfast at Hazel’s Northeast. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, thankfully. Mine was pretty good, just wish they would’ve blended the caramel in with the drink instead of drizzling it on there, but other than that, it was great. They seem to offer food and baked goods, but since we just ate pretty recently, we didn’t get to sample their food. There does seem to be two locations, so if you can’t make the Fargo location, there is another North Dakota spot to stop at!

Babb's is an overall good coffeehouse experience. There is a LOT to choose from in terms of food and drink. The seating arrangement is cozy and quaint, as well. There are also local art pieces and local essential oils, which is interesting, as well; local artisans and businesses supporting each other. The coffee itself was pretty good. Babb's prides itself on a "taste of Seattle", which in my experience means robust and dark roasted. The espresso profile is somewhere closer to what you think of when you go to a Starbucks, for example, as they both follow that roasting philosophy. However, there were also some smaller issues I had that could be chalked up to more of an experience thing and less product: The shelves could use a good dusting, and the service wasn't focussed on customer experience, but more so for product satisfaction, which is reasonable in my book, but not exceptional. Overall, Babb's is a great coffee house for travelers and locals alike to sit down and enjoy foodstuffs and quality coffee, with a local community emphasis, but with some smaller detail-oriented flaws.

Came in to get some coffee with friends. I got a peppermint mocha and it was delicious and creamy. The cold brew was great too. I didn’t get a pastry but I heard their scones are great. We sat and played games there and there was an artist whose art was hanging that we got to chat too!

Order from grub hub. 8.99 for a small slice of quiche and it came cold.... never ordering from here again. Food was ok quiche was hard. Coffee was not very good at all. My side fruit was old and wrinkly the grapes tasted awful. $30 down the drain.

I just moved downtown and was looking for a place to work on homework, this was the closest coffee shop so I decided to try it out. I absolutely love Babb's! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I ordered an iced chai latte and it was the best I've ever had, service was good and I found it to be the perfect place to work on homework! I already know Babb's will become a staple in my weekly routine 😊

I love you Babb’s-ay, and if it’s quite alright, I need you Babb’s-ay To keep me warm at night, I love you Babb’s-ay Trust in me when I say~ The best coffee shop in Fargo, one of my all time favs- Babb’s Coffee House baby!! I fell in love with this shop far before my family even moved to Fargo in 2017. Any time I was in town this was a must stop for years and years. And even after leaving Fargo again, it still stands the same way each time I visit. Babb’s just really knows how to do coffee. All of their lattes, mochas, frappes and specialty drinks are mixed just right. They aren’t too sweet or artificial like some of the big name chains, and they actually taste like COFFEE first and foremost. Add their invented house made espresso whipped cream on top, and it’s literally like crack in a cup. They have good food too- if you’re needing sustenance I’d highly recommend the breakfast quesadilla on a spinach wrap. Ooh, my goodness! And if you don’t want or don’t prefer coffee, their twisted sister red bull drinks are actually quite good. There are lots of tea options too. And you NEED a cinnamon chip scone warmed up to finish the trip, you won’t be the same without it. Babb’s has great coffee and nibblings, as well as a wonderfully laid back coffee shop atmosphere. They are themed after the city of Seattle, and I fall in love with it all over again every time I go. Love you forever Babb’s!

We love this coffee shop! Delicious coffee (with heavy cream) and a wide array of teas to choose from. Cozy and eclectic atmosphere with both couches or chairs to hang out on. Great selection of baked goods, too, and friendly staff. We were even given a lemon poppyseed scone to try the last time we were in, and it was fabulous. Highly recommend this Fargo staple!!

Cute and cozy hometown coffee shop. It has a nice hang out and chill vibe. Coffee is good, but not for those who may hope for something sweeter. They offer treats (baked goods) to have with your Coffee. The monster cookie is good!

Was actually heading to dinner, but Babb’s looked so inviting, we just HAD to stop in. It was just 10 minutes to close, but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I was even gifted a birthday macaron! Kind people. Delicious coffee. Fresh brewed iced tea. Funky, fun, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast, soup, salads, sandwiches, and scones also available. You can even borrow a book or play a board game. Good value … and did I mention that delicious coffee? Added a couple extra cookies and a bag of Dancing Goats beans! Definitely stop by: highly recommend.

All I can say is that this place is amazing, awesome and incredible. The service is top shelf. The coffee is delicious and the food is equally as good. I really hate to leave a review because it is so good. Kind of like telling someone about your secret fishing hole. I can't imagine coming to Fargo without stopping here.

Good vibes and good coffee After searching all morning for a decent place for breakfast (and after three duds) I've found the joint. Service is exceptional and accommodating. A model of hospitality. Food came out fast and good at a very reasonable price. Atmosphere is wonderfully charming and has character. Though I'm not too crazy about the couch seating arrangement there are few decent nooks to eat a meal and drink a coffee. I would recommend this place highly

Got a drink this morning and it was not exactly what I wanted, I haven't ordered this drink in a while so forgot how to specifically order it to meet my preferences and allergies, but the women working there were willing to change it twice . From iced to blended and then fix it due to my allergies to milk and milk alternatives even. It's not always food places can deal with my food allergies so I'm very appreciative of the staff for being able to accommodate! We also got a coffee and breakfast sandwich and those were GREAT!

I have been twice and had two completely different views on the place. The first time was perfect. My wife and I both got food and a drink ( an ice tea and a coffee). We left with zero complaints as we enjoyed talking to staff, loved the atmosphere and the food. I go back the next day and it was not so good. Probably never go back if I hadn’t enjoyed it the first time. I first order an iced chai latte since it was hot. I was asked if I would want to try that with the loose lead tea and said yes because I enjoy loose leaf tea. I asked if he could please make it a little stronger then normal chai flavor. He nicely did as I watched him as more tea leaves. Excited to try the drink and it just tasted like water. I sled and was told to try mixing it because I am probably just drinking the ice that it was poured over. Go back and stir it up a bit. Now taste like water downed milk with the SMALLEST hint of chai. Stirred some more and still just as bad. A few min later I go back up to order another drink. Thought they might ask hire the drink was and make a new one when they hear how bad. Place was really quiet so I know he remembered me first complaint. I ordered a hot pu-erh and brings me a Perrier. Understood mix up so I corrected it. Brings me the tea and informs me to let it step a few min. About 5 min later I open it to take the tea bad out so it wouldn’t get bitter. They use nice large tea bags so I do not have to fish it out, sadly it was wrapped up in a ball so stop had to fish it out. When I removed the lid it looked like a white tea. Was curious if any tea was even added. I get the tea bad out and it looks like two marbles in a tea bag. I open it up to find another tea bag with the tea in it wound so tight it was a solid clump. The other ball was the same. Remove the leaves out of the bags and put them all loosely in one bag. Let it sit for a couple min and the tea tasted good. Was a big shame to see that a place with a nice selection of loose lead teas don’t even know how to even make a cup of tea. Thought it was fairly common knowledge that you would keep loose leaf tea loose and not crammed in a tea bad like you are packing a shot of espresso.

Went to Jamestown for a work trip for a couple months. Babb’s was the best hangout spot. I immediately felt comfy, the staff were super friendly, and the food is the best and healthiest in town. This place and the staff got me through my work trip, and they made me feel special just by existing. Thanks guys. Truly awesome. Yeah. Keep doing it.

Baby's is a chill place to go play chess, catch up with friends, print papers, or get a cheese cake. It feels as if it was pulled straight from the Twin Cities. A high ceiling and contrasting blue/red lights make a comfortable atmosphere. Their miels are great!

The food was amazing! I had a turkey swiss and onion sandwich (don't like swiss or red onion) and it was delicious! I also had a chai tea latte - it was different than what I am used to, in the best way! I love going to different coffee shops and trying the food and drinks. Definitely suggest stopping here!

Passing through Fargo on our road trip we stopped for coffee and breakfast. This place was full of fun artwork and local jewelry, comfy couches and nooks to read in. They have a great breakfast selection of homemade items and delicious coffee.. I went for a dirty chai with almond milk (yay for non dairy) highly recommend this place! Staff was so friendly and the coffee sleeves are local photos that change seasonally! added bonus

I've been to Babb's quite a few times, I live very close by. For the past 6 months or so, I don't think I've gotten a drink I ordered in under 20 minutes. Order a drink and food? 30 min. I thought I'd try online ordering, give them time to make it where I'm not just waiting. Still averaging 30 minutes. Call in just drinks at 4PM? Quoted at 20-30 minutes, arrive at the 25 minute mark and they're still not done. The drinks are ok. Nothing to write home about, but ok. The food is again, just ok. But the prices are on the higher end for a cup of coffee and what you get is barely worth what you spend. Add in the time that you are simply waiting for your order and I'll be walking to one of the many other coffeeshops downtown for a cheaper, better, faster cup of coffee. The employees seem genuinely nice, the coffee/food isn't bad. The shop is a relaxing place. 2/5
