I really enjoyed this store and its employees

The store is well organized and it was easy to find what we needed. Helpful staff who measured out exactly what we needed while providing some good advice. Wouldn't hesitate to return for fabric and sewing needs.

Employees were very pleasant. They had a great selection of flannel fabric, which was what I was shopping.

I was in last night to buy a bunch of fabric for my niece to make some things to sell. Sam and Morgan were fantastic. Joanns system went down so they couldn't take card payments. Morgan had to call and try and figure out what happened. I went and got cash from an ATM so I could pay for the fabric I had cut.

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars. First off, I live in West Fargo. I went to the Joanns on 13th Ave. All the staff are so nice. Ok, I needed to find fabric for a back of a quilt. I needed about 5 yards. I found some fabric, but there was only about 3 yards. We checked online, and it said Grand Forks had 7 yards. I said I will just go to Grand Forks then. (Grand Forks is about 80 miles north of Fargo area). I got there and staff was helping another customer. No problem, I was looking for the fabric yet anyway. Could not find it. The staff member came and looked, nope. Went and checked the back, nope. It seemed like I got every excuse why couldn't find it. I said ok, no problem. Wasn't the staffs fault. I went back looking for something else that would work. I found some real soft nursery fabric. But, was twice the dollar amount. I asked since I drove to Grand Forks, and website says it is available, could I get more of a discount? Just as a customer service token. I was told no, unfortunately. Just disgusted.

The staff hate their jobs. Each time a customer asks to buy wool they bark like a mean dog. Not just me, my wife and others. Micheals & Hobby Lobby are friendly. Sorry JoAnne, once you were a good store. Those days are long gone. FACT!

Luckily I found most of what I went in the store for, but I bought the last of three of the items I went thete to buy. Checkout lady was very helpful, kind and patient!

Love the fabric choice they have out are wonderful ,and the staff is helpful and friendly. Purchased a heat mat and vinyl.

Went in with a DIY project in mind and Kristan was SO HELPFUL and nice to me!!!
