There
are
so
many
reviews
here
that
I
WISH
I
would've
read
before
making
the
impulsive
and
quite
frankly
desperate
decision
to
go
to
Aspen
Dental
today.
I
never
write
reviews
but
the
fact
that
the
office
manager
asked
me
to
write
a
Google
review
at
the
end
of
this
terrible
experience
sealed
the
deal.
I
booked
online
for
an
emergency,
but
when
I
called
to
confirm
I
was
told
that
nothing
would
be
done
same
day
as
far
as
treatment.
That's
fine,
it's
a
wisdom
tooth,
I
figured
that
could
be
the
case.
What
I
wasn't
prepared
for
was
the
way
it
felt
like
I
was
just
plopped
into
a
machine
and
everyone
was
just
bopping
me
around
until
they
spit
me
out.
Not
only
did
I
not
receive
a
cleaning,
I
was
then
told
that
they
wouldn't
even
do
a
regular
cleaning
on
me
at
a
future
appointment
because
it
would
be
considered
malpractice
since
the
dentist
'prescribed'
root
planing
and
whatever
the
deep
cleaning
is
for
gum
disease.
I
thought
I'd
at
least
have
an
exam
and
a
cleaning.
I
had
X-rays
that
were
pretty
awful,
but
I
expected
they
might
be.
The
gal
doing
them
was
nice
enough
but
kept
saying
things
like
"oh
must
have
been
a
long
time
since
your
last
cleaning"
-
A
of
all
no,
not
comparatively
and
B
of
all
aren't
they
supposed
to
be
non-judgemental?
The
whole
entire
experience
felt
like
a
machine
with
s
revolving
door.
X-ray
tech
in
and
out.
Revolving
door
for
the
hygienist,
swap
out
for
the
doctor.
The
dentist
was
nice
enough,
but
everyone
spoke
to
me
like
I
was
stupid
and
"this
is
what
happens
when
you
don't
take
care
of
things"
type
of
attitude.
It
wasn't
until
I
was
whisked
away
with
the
office
manager
(before
I
even
realized
my
exam
was
over)
to
discuss
the
costs
of
recommended
treatment
that
it
really
hit
me
that
this
was
purely
transactional
and
they
don't
care
about
patients
at
all.
I
guess
that's
what
happens
when
you
choose
a
big
chain.
No
compassion,
repeatedly
asked
"were
you
prepared
for
this
financial
responsibility?"
when
being
told
the
cost
breakdown.
Even
worse
than
finding
out
that
you
have
to
pay
upfront
just
to
MAKE
an
appointment
for
treatment,
is
that
the
oral
surgeons
are
only
at
each
location
one
or
two
days
a
month.
So
now
something
that's
an
emergency
has
to
just
simmer
until
I
find
a
location
I
can
get
into?
I
had
hoped
I'd
receive
great
care
but
I'm
left
with
an
impossible
decision
to
move
forward
with
them
or
start
over
somewhere
else
when
I
really
just
need
this
dealt
with.
Proceed
with
caution.
