Terrible !!!!! My husband ordered two grilled polishes with grilled onions and mustard. Since when does polishes have tomatoes and relish and a trimming ? The owner Mary, she was very unprofessional. To busy defending the fact this HOT DOG was indeed a polish. And not taking accountability for her actions. No we will not be back . Go back to customer service training .

Has a unique quaint charm and the standard burger I got was one of the best I've had anywhere. Service was fairly quick and staff was chill.

This place is like walking into a real life nickelodeon show, with the bright colors and classic diner look. If you like Chicago style dogs (or creative hot dog toppings) this place is for you! Side note, the burgers are the bomb dot com. Everything fresh and tasty. You won't be disappointed! There is limited seating on the interior (guessing 6-8 ish people) and self service dining, like fast food. You can ask for free refills on soda which i liked. This place is more so geared for to go orders but can accommodate someone or a few people possibly eating in. You can also park outside where the drive up service used to be and eat there.

I went here because I wanted a real hotdog. I was shocked by how big it was and how loaded it was with all the condiments. The Chili Cheese Fries were amazing! I will suggest being ready to have a full stomach.

Classic hot dog place with beef dogs from Chicago! Hubby had the dog with chili cheese and a corn dog. It's hard to find a place with fresh corndogs and this was well made and tasty! I had the double cheeseburger. It was two quarter pound smashed patties, cooked well done but juicy. The chili cheese fries were great, but I think the jumbo size was too much even for two people, so next time we will get the regular. Staff were friendly too!

Such a mom and pop type of shop that I absolutely love. This place has been around for as long as I can remember. They offer great links of all kinds and also offers some well seasoned fries. The order of fries pictured is a regular. For this order with a lemonade my order was only $4.90!

Visited 5/9/23 AR 5:30 p.m. The employees were nice, the place was clean, and the food was made perfectly with the small exception that the salt was a bit too much, but that is IT. No other "complaints". There is a certain way that you have to put a Chicago dog together, and they nail it EVERY time. The old owners and the new owners seem(ed) to really care about the quality and it shows. I've been going here for 40 years and I've never had a bad experience. Not even once. We drive about an hour each way just to get their Woofie dogs. I have bought all the right stuff to make my own in the past, including making my own poppy seed bun, but it's just not the same. If you've never tried them, do so. I'm always so worried that it may close and St. Louis will have lost an iconic place. There's just no other place, except actually in Chicago, that you can get the authentic masterpiece. Yes, on the celery salt for me, please.

I had the philly hotdog. I was good just small for a big guy like me. As you see in the picture they uses a smaller fry which I am not a fan of but they definitely put enough cheese on there which makes it a bit salty but still good. I'm going to go back and try their burger I seen someone with it and it looked very juicy.

First time eating here and it's a perfect example of why not to judge a book by its cover. The employees are very nice, friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal. My partner doesn't ever usually like pickles anywhere we've been but she really enjoyed the ones from here.😁 I got a giant hot dog and my partner got a double cheeseburger and we split an order of fries for almost under 20$ will definitely be back.

Finally tried Woofie's Hot Dogs today and it did NOT disappoint!! I got the Italian beef wet with Swiss cheese and giardiniera.. My husband had the Woofies dog along with a regular order of chili cheese fries.. 🔥🔥… food came out quick & awesome customer service.. best Italian beef sandwich I’ve had that compares to Portillos! We will def be back!

Some of the best dogs I’ve had. Polish is fire. Fries are seasoned well and just as good as McDonald’s fries. Portions are great for the prices. I’d spend my last $6 here.

Top-tier local establishment. Great Chicago-style dog joint with all the classic trimmings and a ton of more adventurous options too. A local institution, and I hope it lasts forever. Small dining area, and you'll probably have a wait if you don't call ahead, but it's always worth it and you'll always get great, hot food without fail. I only wish they were open a little later. Even an extra hour or two would make it viable as a dinner option.

Finally tried Woofies hot dog and hamburger after all these years! Both were fantastic! Highly recommend it! True Vienna hot dogs from Chicago, so they're authentic! Hamburger pattie so big it hung out half an inch past the bun all the way around. And delicious!

Hole in the wall hot dog place that has been around for a long long time. The dogs are great. Little known is that their burgers are the best around. Oh and the fries are awesome too. Updated review to 5 stars the atmosphere is not great but the food outways it.

One of the few places in town where every order is fresh, delicious, and consistent. I have not been let down once since I started going here for lunch. In the drive thru they come out to your car to take your order and return with your drink while you wait for the food to be cooked. The fries are delicious with the seasoning salt and the large soda is massive. The staff are always the same so they must be getting treated and compensated fairly and it definitely shows. Page Avenue is a hellscape of nasty fast food but Woofies is a shining light of great service and wonderful food

I have lived in Overland all my life minus my military time. This place use to be good keyword used to be. The owner is combative and telling people who gave an honest review that essentially they aren't worthy to eat here jfc. This place has gone down hill since the new owner took over I get the old one either died or retired but they could have found a better nicer successor

A fantastic hotdog place. Worth every penny. Only shame I have is that I'll be moving soon so I can't have it too much more. Also outdoor dining area so it's available for a good sit down and date even in these troubling times.

This is my favorite spot for a quick hotdog. It is a cool hot dog type stand place with all the toppings on your hot dogs. I love the fries too with all the seasonings. I used to go here all the time as a young guy and still go when I come back to town. I grew up on this food. Great hot dogs for sure.

I'm originally from Chicago and Woofies is solid for a Chicago style dog. I've been here probably a dozen times over the years. Had the footlong this time and it was great.

Don't live near Woofies so every time I go to that part of town, I have to stop in and get a dog. They are so good and messy. Not easy to eat in the car ( dinning room closed - panadermic) but well worth it. You can sit at their outdoor tables.
