Kinda weird place to stop in for a drink. Huge spaces and dominance of the building, like a mini-village with its own mall to the side. I was pleasantly surprised to find local staff rather than Chinese, and everyone was friendly and helpful. What suggested luxurious glamour from outside was a little let down by the utilitarian decor inside, but, due to the space, provided very cool, open areas to relax.

Great venue for wedding ,large clean and well maintained

A phenomenal location. However it would be a stretch to say that this is a 5 star hotel. It is more of a source of accomodation without anything else. If you want to stay as close to the bay as possible this is for you. However you may need to venture out to get more variety food wise. Luckily there is a mall on the premises and it is a stone's throw away from other hotels and scenic eating houses and bars. For the money, you are getting a high standard accomodation but it's offset by lack of the service you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Not for a lack of trying, it's just not their strength. If you want Quiet, then this is for you.

Lovely hotel. Good price and service. Clean and neat. We had an ocean view. Cross the road to the beach. Awesome pool with sea views. I enjoyed a Thai massage in their spa. Also has a gym. Decent internet. Ate at the hotels Chinese restaurant, which was more reasonable for lunch or dinner. Great buffet breakfast catering for all tastes and diet restrictions.

Palace you feel like a king,hotel is beautiful and staff is friendly. Downside is that the locals fluctuate the price of items and please bring refreshments like alcohol from your country to avoid disappointment. Otherwise everything is top class.

Wonderful hotel with very good hospitality, their deluxe king room is so beautiful with a very nice view of the ocean. I enjoyed my stay there.

Quite elegant and modern although the decor and style is mostly imperial and oriental. Has wide open spaces throught and all the modern amenities a 21st international traveller's hotel should have. The cuisine is a bit limited though, with only a Chinese restaurant and one other dining area - which doubles as the breakfast room and western restaurant.

The good things first: spacious room on suite, with comfortable desk to work from if needed and comfortable bed, lovely view of the sea from hotel room balcony, very grand hotel entrance and helpful bell boy and receptionist who could understand English and that's about it. The Aircon barely worked, the balcony door did not lock, the fridge didn't work so well, the room door was stiff and could barely open it enough to walk in, half the menu items for breakfast and lunch were not available, pricing was steep for quality of food, majority of staff unable to communicate with you in English, no information on when the pool and gym facility was open and closed. I had not realised the plug sockets were different from SA and then there was no available adapters at the hotel, nor could they confirm best place to purchase from. There were very few guests here, compared to The Raddison next door and I'm not so surprised.

Great place. I had a really great time. On the one wing you have eastern restaurant (Chinese) and on the other, western. The place feels nice and a premium and the stuff is very friendly. The language becomes a barrier though (Portuguese is primarily spoken here and some bits of English) and kind of prevents you from fully enjoying the place to the fullest. There is a great view of the ocean just on the other side of the road...

The service from local people is excellent. They smile and say hello to me. But “some” Chinese guy in this hotel was like a creditor even though I had paid for the room fee. Even I am a Chinese.
