Muito bom , um dos melhores locais para consertar viaturas em Maputo
This is the square of heroes, where Mozambican heroes rest, from presidents to personalities with historical achievements. The square is very beautiful, with a peculiar design surrounded by green grass.
Praça dos Heróis (Heroes Square) is the place where Mozambique's heroes, those who fought the country's liberation struggle, are laid to rest. The crypt has a unique design that catches the eye of every passerby.
Historical Square of Mozambican national heroes from the war of national independence to nowadays notorious persons of different fields.
This place is a iconic symbol of resistance of the Mozambican people against oppression and coloniasation from the Portugueese definitely serves as a reminder to all passers by.
Great and awesome creative work done in our beautiful heros square
A nice historical place in Maputo. Near the Ministry of Agriculture with a nice view. It is in a shape of a round about and as your car goes round you can see the whole place and building where the remains of Mozambican heroes were deposited. Highly recommended.
To visit it's a splendid place. But no place to park.
Remarkable and forever memorable place for all Mozambicans, the place where all heroes are remembered annually
This star shaped structure was designed by the Mozambican architect António Forjaz, as a way to homage Mozambican heroes, most of the notable freedom fighters like Samora Machel and Eduardo Mondlane are laid in this place. Lately we have seen some non freedom fighters being laid there, cases of José Craverinha and Justino Chemane, namely a poet and composer. Visits are only permitted on some public holidays like the 3rd of February (heroes day), and 25th June (independence day) among other few important public holidays.
If you come to Maputo, you should go. You can know the history of Mozambique.
