Beautiful museum and there are amazing curators that take you through the entire history of the coins
Florentino the curator/guide was fantastic. I learned so much about the history of Mozambique via changes to its money. This museum is by far one of the best in Maputo. MZN 50 for foreigners.
Really nice experience, well preserved and taken care of. Interesting facts and artifacts! Recommend!
Very good place to see the history of Moz currency development and the entrance fee is only 20mt...Muito bem!
Great place to take kids for some learning fun.
If you are in Maputo then the Money museum is a must visit. Weekends are the best time to visit. Parking may be a challenge.
Tells the story of Mozambique money. Quite interesting. The guide needs to be more active, in order to engage the visitors.
The museum is nice and the exhibition seems well organized, however some of the halls have poor lighting, which makes the experience less enjoyable. Also, I recall the closing time is a bit too early and I had to leave the museum before I could really see everything...
Historical museum to learn about the economy, previous coins and the money history in Mozambique.
