Patungan Beach in Maragondon, Cavite is a very nice place for those who want to experience a clean and clear sea front. It’s near Metro Manila and can be reached via Cavitex passing through Kaybiang Tunnel. We often visit the place for some rest. It’s sad that the area is being claimed by a private owner hence it may no longer be easily accessible by the public.

Awesome place for a budgetarian, no entrance fee the only you pay is the cottage for only 1,500 and the tricycle ride going to patungan cove for only 25 pesos per head..You can see the beautiful nature and so refreshing...

Poor service. No electricity. Toilet bowls are very dirty. We waited for more or less 5 hours just to ride the boat. The one we talked to for reservation did not reserved the cottage for us even with a down payment. We are more or less 60-70 people with children and senior citizens!! This neglect resulted to our cottages being far away from each other!! The guards in the main gate are awful and thought they are high and mighty. No care for the visitors at all. Overall the experience is awful and will never come back.

There's no staff that can accommodate you, just some locals from the same place managing the income. Sobrang hirap sa signal or no signal at all, even my pocket WiFi can't have one. Cottages are not well maintained, some are left messy by the previous visitors and the management did not bother to clean it so we clean it ourselves. Some garbages in the water, I even swam and thought something big is under me and only to find out na sako lang pala. There are spots din na may bubog so be cautious where you step while in the water.

Aside from the rocky road to the beach, the beach itself is clean and good. The cottage we got has fence so the security is great as well.

My rating is more of a 3.5-4. First thing, no consistent reception in the area, but you can find a spot where the strength is fair to good. We brought a pocket wifi and put it on the roof of the cottage near the shore, and it did the trick. We were able to somehow play Mobile Legends without lag. No place for parking near the beach, so they have a place for parking about 15 minutes away via tricycle. You need to leave your car there with a Php200 charge on check out. 🅿️🚗 Upon arrival to the beach site, our transient home with cottage is just a few meters away from the shore. The house itself is good and clean. Power supply is with schedule. Our transient house had power outage twice during the day, in the middle of enjoying Karaoke. 😅 Sari-sari stores are all over the place so don't worry if you need to buy something. Stray dogs are also all over the place, but they're all tamed. 🐶 The beach itself has very fine, dark brown sand. It was wavy and surfy. Camp fire by the beach costs Php150 pesos and they will set it up for you. Refill of woods is the same price. 🔥🪵 Water supply is enough, because they have manual water pump (tubig poso). You just need to be very patient with refilling your drums/pails. Overall experience is okay. They just need to maintain cleanliness and do something about the stray dogs. I would recommend this place if you want to have a break with technology, disconnect, and just relax. :)

Kids enjoyed it. But beware..there are no electricity..it’s generator powered and it’s running on gas. You have to pay for it if you need electricity. No shower but they have old school pumps. Cottage area is very dirty.

(Translated by Google) clean and tidy beach, there are rooms for any number of people. There are Mongols, fishermen go there in the morning with a fresh word, you can buy and ask to cook. (Original) чистый и убраный пляж, есть номера на любое количество людей. Имеются монголы, там же утром ходят рыбаки с свежим словом, можно купить и попросить приготовить.

Sad to say you cannot visit the actual public beache of patungan because of an ongoing dispute between the local residents and a private company, claiming that they already bought the land.

Same like other average resorts, nothing special. But If you want to beat the heat, you can try this place for your summer escapade.

One of the nearby resorts after Kaybiang tunnel, many locals along the way offers this beach resort. You'll need to ride a boat going to resort. They charge us P300 for two. But much cheaper if your a group, they only charge you for P30 per head. The beach front is a bit dirty, the sand is just fine. Cottages/Kubo a bit pricey,Its just a plain small room. No electricity. The generator operates only between 6pm-10pm. Must bring rechargeable lights if your planning an overnight tour. Lots of sari-sari store around the corner. But much better to bring food and drinks to save money. Overall we still enjoyed our daytour stay

How is this beautiful and worth the trip??😔😔😔 i expected a lot from this place because of good reviews and google recos only to get so disappointed. The local people even asked me to pay 300 for entrance fee?! The cove is nice but the beach area is not maintained. Trashes everywhere, there is foul smell everywhere, there is no nice cr or facilities. I had to pay for the boat too for 300 for a very short trip across only to find out that you can walk going there. The photos i have posted here are from the beach side. We walked back to our parking area. The beach area there is cleaner but still not decent enough.

Had fun during out stay here. Amazing waves that pushes you back and keeps you afloat. Just be careful not to get stung by jellyfishes though.
