If you are going towards Kochi and close to Cherthala then without any doubt go for Bijoo's food court. Also if you are coming from kochi and just left cherthala and reached around near the travancore BAR hotel then move your vehicle forward and have mouth savouring food from Bijoos. The shop is owned and run by Biju chettan, and offers mind blowing kerala cuisines. You can have Kera curry ( കേര കറി), vatta curry, beef, chicken dishes, Kappa, kanava everything at night. We had Kappa, porotta, Ari pathiri, thattu dosa, vatta masala, beef fry, Kappa and potti. And as a final touch hot black tea. Taste is explicit Quality is appreciated Service is very much acknowledged And Rates are also good. So if you are passing this are don't miss Bijoos thattukada

I cannot give a negate staring here, that is why one star. If you want a chicken mixed in the onion gravy(usually served with porotta)as chicken curry go here. They were good. But now its pure cheating. Thankfully I could figure out what they are doing in the name of freshly prepared chicken curry. Please avoid this shop.. There are better options available in both direction in highway.

They forget to add salt for my chicken fry, and they don't take action to solve the issue even after reporting and calling them several times. Waiters are irresponsible. Only the owner is proactive, but he can't be there all the time

Tasty food and well maintained. We had dosa chutney, omlet, idiyappam mottacurry and the special kalummakkaya. Everything was great especially the kalummakkaya was very tasty. As we were having food from roadside, we had a doubt on hygiene but it is safe. Rate is ok. Loved it and I strongly recommend.
