I've never been a huge fan before, but recently I went and was very pleased with the quality and service. Everything looked and tasted great. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The price to portion ratio was very fair. A large roast beef sandwich and a regular order of cheese fries were very filling for under $20. I would definitely go back and I recommend you try them out. I went back again after the above review. I got the same sandwich and chili cheese fries. I have to say the chili cheese fries did not look appetizing and there was a pool of liquid in the container. I would just stick with regular cheese fries from now on. That doesn't change my opinion of the place, it's still a great place for a meal.

Have always loved there Roast Beef sandwiches. The fries have been pretty bland lately though, but I'll keep going back for the roast beef 😆

Kelly’s is hit or miss with the roast beef. At its best, it’s average but not bad. Most recent visit was terrible. Bun was so soggy it wasn’t recognizable.

Quality and Quantity have gone lower and lower until we no longer will go. Their chicken fingers used to be the best until they switched to a cheaper lab made inedible version. To be FAIR there actually was ONE more Onion ring but the rest of the food was untouched in the picture........REDICULOUS!

Clean and food was out fast. Large freshwater and saltwater fish tanks were not well cared for. Almost cut my tongue up on a lobster shell, but at least that means it's fresh, I guess.

A staple of Route 1, Kelly’s Roast Beef always hits the spot. Delicious roast beef sandwiches that will fill you up and tasty fries. The atmosphere is welcoming, with perhaps the most expansive fish tank north of the New England aquarium.

This place has always been amazing. Stopped in for lunch the other day and went with the large 3 way, sandwich was so good! Fries and Onion rings were great as well. I’d probably skip the chicken fingers. Not great but the roast beef sandwich was incredible as always!

Just picked up their Ruben sandwich which is one of the best I've had so whenever I'm in the area I stop by for that or their fish and chips. Fresh fish always!

Phenomenal roast beef sandwich (my go-to is the barbecue sauce and cheese, nothing else, on the giant heap of perfectly cooked and carved beef), and a really great fish and chips. It is a generous serving in nice, crisp batter, and the icing on the cake is a few perfectly done onion rings thrown on for good measure. Years ago I enjoyed Kelly's out on Revere Beach, but later made the mistake of bypassing the restaurant on Rt. 1 near Saugus. I can assure everyone it will be my regular stop between Maine and the Cape from now on! It is a nice dining room, modern and clean, with orders taken at a counter but served at your table. Remember to ask for extra condiments at the counter, and they do have malted vinegar if you ask.

Clam rolls are EXCELLENT!!! You definitely get your munch for the buck. Overstuffed New England style buttered hot dog roll with fries and onion rings. Restaurant is very clean and spacious if you are concerned about social distancing. Restrooms are always clean as well.. Many choices on the menu varying from roast beef sandwiches of course to fried seafood of different varieties, to hamburgers and hotdogs if so for the kids. Definitely recommended for travelers visiting or and locals.

It's worth noting that they didn't include any salt packets or seasoning in the to-go bag, which would have been a simple solution to address this issue. For someone who enjoys a balanced flavor profile, it was disappointing not to find that in the dishes. In conclusion, while the food was undoubtedly fresh and visually appealing, it was let down by the absence of essential seasoning, especially salt. It's a small yet significant detail that can greatly enhance the overall dining experience. I hope that the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration to provide a more satisfying culinary experience for its customers in the future. For example the onion rings were very bland.

The food was not as good here in my opinion as the Medford location and the drive-thru was very slow moving. The mello yellow zero orange tasted like orange soda, the calamari side was way too greasy, and the greek wrap I requested had no dressing inside and was tasteless, so I had to toss it. The pickle and chips were fine, though. However, when I gave my comments in the thanx app, i got a $5 coupon towards my next purchase at Kelly's.
