This is a warning to all that might be considering going to this dentistry. Don't go!!! Run as fun as you can from there. My experience there was so bad I had to file a complaint. Receptionist is very rude and the dentist doesn't seem to know what the hell he is doing. My story is too long to go into details but DO NOT go there for any kind of work. You will regret it. I gave a one star but if I could have gone lower I would have.

This place, no joke, gave me a phobia of dentistry. They did more drilling and shots and pulling and procedures in a year and a half than the rest of my life combined- to the point I’m CONVINCED it’s a scam. All of it very expensive, painful, and stressful. Also everyone’s reviews about the receptionist are right. Seriously, avoid avoid avoid

The receptionist was really nice. Although I was rushed in and out. I had two extractions, numbed with no numbing gel first, approximately 10 needles total, it hurt really bad. I didnt get clear instructions after. I got a filling done also, the composite is now covering the tooth next to it. I have a phobia of the dentist & this made it much worse. They sat me up immediately after my teeth were pulled, knowing in my chart I have a heart condition history. I got super dizzy, asked for a cool rag or paper towel said I was going to pass out. They didn’t lean me back or anything. Left me alone in the room, to pass out. Alone. I will NEVER return here.

I was extremely disappointed by the treatment I received. I went in to have teeth pulled, and ended up having one of the most painful experiences of my life. Any other dentist would have given me numbing gel before injecting Novocain deep into my gums. Instead of giving me one possibly painful injection, I was given a quick succession of over twelve injections within a period of two minutes. It was unbelievably painful and unnecessary. It is a clinic that pushes Medicaid patients through with a quick speed as to make the most amount of money. I would never wish that on anyone and the fact that I had to go through anything that traumatizing still shocks me to this day. It's the last place I would ever send anyone. He wasn't worried about my comfort, mental health, or recovery. Any place is better than this one. Don't send your children there.

Very friendly receptionists and dental hygienists. Dr. Nguyen was very kind. He explained what was wrong, showed me the x-ray and walked me through the procedure while performing it. I will be recommending Claymont Family Dentistry to family, friends and neighbors. Thank you so much to the kind staff of CFD and the compassionate Dr. Nguyen.

After living in this area for 25 years and trying various dentists, I am very happy to find this practice. The dentist is excellent and will see you promptly if you are in pain. He is flexible for folks without insurance. My whole family has gone here now for 2 years and we couldn't be happier.

I have had tooth pain from years of dental work that I thought was just normal. I moved to the area recently and needed an annual checkup. After 2 short appointments years of dental work gone wrong was corrected and no more pain. Dr Nguyen is awesome. My wife agrees.
