Well worth a detour. I would recommend to park at the start and walk up and down, as that is part of the experience. Make sure to visit the arc to get the full historic background of Kvarntorpshögen. There are some really good sculptures and some not so good (I'm looking at you Lars Vilks). No entrance fee. There's a cafe at the top, but we didn't visit it.

My favorite hike whenever the weather allows it!

Interesting history presented on signage lets you appreciate why this great lookout point is even here. Fascinating to see the fumes from the heat still trapped within the hill. Plus there's the art exhibit, if you're into that.

Interesting place with remarkable history. Here you can see a lot of pieces of modern Scandinavian art. Fantastic view! If possible it would be much more interesting to visit this place with a guide who knows what some statues are supposed to mean. Nice place to visit!

Loved the views but not a huge fan of the art except the tree. Was more intrigued by the heat coming out of the ground I wish they explained why/what it was!

From a history perspective, this place was fascinating. If you are interested in art it a must see. And for geocaching it is a gold mine

Wooden steps. If you are close by, ok to visit but not a must-do. No tickets needed. Has a nice little coffee hut at the top that serves hot drinks, waffles and ice cream.

One of the best attractions around Orebro. Nice hill with great views and open art collection on top of it. And of course - the giant staircase that people come to climb to be fit

It's not huge, but it's a beautiful place to visit. Only if you're fit enough though. The steps can be tedious for anyone with a condition that limits your capabilities.

It's quite a historical area. Wonderful and special scenary will be in front of you if you can go up 428 stairs.

Good way to check your physical condition after winter season :-)
