Excellent experience. It was busy but the atmosphere was quaint. Lots of traditional Japanese decor. Food tasted authentic and savory. I liked the wagyu beef burger and chocolate sea salt cookie. Service was excellent. It was a little bit pricey, but you can tell the food is made with high-quality ingredients. (Everything is more expensive due to skyrocketing inflation and national labor/product shortages...) Overall, an wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

I honestly can't believe how good this place is. I have been to ramen shops all over the world and this is by far one of the best. The noodles actually have texture and bounce unlike many places I have been. The ramen broth was clean and full of flavor. This was my first time having tsukemen "dipping noodles" and it was phenomenal. The pork chasu was very tender and every bite was amazing. We came back the next morning and had the kimchi croissant and of course it was good. I highly recommend any local or traveler to come here for amazing food.

literally amazing food!! the flavors are fresh and inventive. cute drinks including a sake juice box!! we had to wait for about 30 min on a saturday night. the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. the katsu sando might have been the most delicious thing i’ve ever had

Baked goods during the day? AMAZING Dinner in the evening? FANTASTIC Small, but very deliberately well-crafted dinner menu. Changes weekly, and I have never been disappointed by the food. My favorite menu staples are the miso eggplant and karaage. Ramen broth is always rich and flavorful.

Fantastic. The truffle ramen was kind blowingly delicious. The mocho i appetizer was pillowy and the sauce was to die for. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t buy a pastry to go… oh well will just have to go back for breakfast again…

Very polite and knowledgeable staff. A fan of the mochi donuts and their dinner menu! Displays a quaint and well decorated seating area. They don't offer carry out when you dine in so order everything you want to try. Didn't see tables to seat parties larger than 4 as they were mostly circular. But the food is amazing!

Stopped in for both Mochiko’s morning bakery and dinner service. Had heard a lot about this place online and it did not disappoint. Be prepared to wait for their evening dining, it took about an hour for us to get a table after putting our name in. For dinner we ordered the Karrage and the Mochi Mochi Panic. These two dishes were phenomenal and were the star of the meal. The Karrage was nicely crisped, flavorful, and juicy. The Mochi was delicious, a unique and unforgettable flavor, every bite got better and better. While I did enjoy the Shio Ramen, it did not compare to the small plates. When we went in the morning for the cafe there was no wait (we went around 10am). We ordered their famous ube croissant which was the best of the pastries we ordered. The Kimchi Croissant, while good, would have tasted better warmed up. We also go the Thai tea snickerdoodle, which definitely tasted like Thai tea, but the cookie itself seemed a bit over baked. Overall I will go back to try more of their offerings!

Hands down some of the best food I’ve had. The savory mochi blew my mind and I truly reminisce on the first bite. The broth in both of the ramen bowls we ordered had so much flavor. The noodles tasted so freshly made right out the kitchen. It’s worth any wait!

Excellent food and service! Very quaint cozy cafe in downtown area. Chicken Karaage had a very nice crunchy crust and meat was tender. Tori Soba was delicious, very flavorful and clean tasting broth. Would of loved to try one of their bakery items unfortunately they were all sold out.

This was so fun! Friends told me about their bakery and how busy it is. I picked up a box of 6 and split them with friends so we could try it all! The doughnut should be called a creme brulee because it's so good and crunchy on top. The cream filled were both really good. The corn muffin is really plain, I liked it a lot but it was super plain. The least favorite was the pork bun, the pork itself was kind of fatty, it wasn't bad but I probably wouldn't get it again. They opened today at 9 and I got there at about 8:45 to get in line and I was third, by the time the doors opened the line was down the street. Definitely a popular breakfast spot! Check out was easy and the employees were nice. Will be back to try dinner!

I live out of town, and have been eyeing this shop for about a year. Finally had the chance to visit with some friends. Got some appetizers like the chicken karaage. However, the main dish I’ve wanted to try here was their Signature Cincinatti-Style Tsukemen, and it lived up to the hype. The noodles were chewy and complimented the chili broth very well, and the broth itself was outstanding with such a deep flavor. Thank you Mochiko! 🙏😊

Cute cafe with really interesting pastries and baked goods. The Ube Halaya is their signature croissant and is a definite must try, although fair warning, it's difficult to navigate with a fork and knife without getting the filling out so probably just bite in? The everything cream cheese bagel seemed to have a twist to distinguish it from regular EVB making it as a unique dish as the kimchi croissant. My personal favorite though was the sweet corn bibingka (really wish I had taken a picture) which was like a corn bread topped off with cheese but somehow had a nice sweet-savory zing to it that made it delicious.

As a Japanese, I had never found good Japanese food outside Japan till I went to this restaurant. Cincinnati skyline ramen was very very tasty. Their karaage was fantastic, very crunchy and juicy. Just Thinking about it now makes me hungry 🤤I was very impressed with food and the whole experience. This restaurant would be popular even if it was in Japan.

Great experience as always at Mochiko! First time dining in the restaurant and not just having pastries from the bakery. We went for dinner on Black Friday, and were seated maybe 45 minutes after putting our names in. Staff were coordinated and kind. We got the kabocha raisu, chili miso udon, katsu sando, and the Cincy chili ramen. Everything was amazing in both presentation and taste. Noodles were fresh (I hear they make them in house but have not confirmed) and had the perfect chewy bite. The Japanese/American fusion elements came across really well for each dish, especially the Cincy-specific flavors. I saw a lot of people only ordering the Cincy chili ramen, but everything is delicious so if you're thinking of going, consider branching out!

Pastry at day time and Japanese food at night time. The ramen and udon here is a must-try! I’ve been eating noodles at many places in the US, usually it’s way too soft… But the noodles at Cafe Mochiko is VERY GOOD! The noodles here is so well done that I will come back again!

I love mochiko! It s probably the best ramen in town. They are often busy but wait is so worth it. Bakery usually gets sold out by noon so It s better to come early.
