DO NOT STAY HERE. The pictures are old or photoshopped. I had to yell to get someone to check us in and never saw a staff member after that. There is only 1 entrance and the 1 elevator was slow and stank. The whole building is tagged and there was music blasting and door slamming all night. “Pain” is doing a swift business out of this place. The carpet hasn’t seen a vacuum in at least 2 years. The room was awful, lumpy beds, lumpier pillows the size of a couch throw pillow. No shades on the lamps. Loose locks on the door and no functioning fire alarm or smoke detector. This place should be shut down. Mini-fridge? Not plugged up. TV? The remote had no back and barely worked. We had to unplug it to get it to go off. The gap beneath door let in enough light to keep us up which worked out since we had teens with us and felt the need to keep vigilant. Nasty, dangerous, revolting. 0/10

Don’t stay at this hotel. The pics lie! The everywhere we looked was filthy. Our wall had stains on it the couch was torn and covered in stains the room is not ADA compliant. The halls smelled of marijuana and our room wreaked of cigarettes. It wasn’t clean with ashes on the nightstand. No coffee maker no shampoo no iron or ironing board. I booked through Hotels.com and neither one would refund my money. Also the door security lock was broken as you can see in the pics.

The employees are wonderful. Anything I needed was gotten for me. I asked the young man at the desk for an iron because room is not supplied with one and housekeeper, Crystal took care of getting one to me. In the morning when I needed dry towels to shower with Cameron took care of getting them for me and took the dirty linens with her. My stay was for 3 nights. It was quite and I slept thru the night. My room was on 1st floor so wouldn't have to walk far which was good due to a bad leg. I recommend this facility to all my friends visiting Atlanta.

If i could give it no stars I would. It’s a convenient hotel if you need something quick and cheap, but they have roaches and the manager was very rude. We asked for more towels multiple times and waited forever to get them, not even getting all we asked for. Elevators barely work. It smelled like pee and smoke in the staircase. People sleeping in the hallways. Really bad experience overall. DON’T RECOMMEND STAYING AT ALL!!

I can't even rate this hotel. They cancelled our reservation before we even got to the hotel. I'm sure they wanted more $$ as there were several events that weekend of June 6-19,2022! There was a big event in the Galleria shopping area + a rock concert at the Stadium, so we know exactly why they cancelled us - to get 4X the rate for the weekend! Other guest told us their rooms were dirty an not cleaned prior to check in. I think the pictures are completely fake as this does not look like the inside of the hotel we saw at all. They cost us $650 by cancelling our reservation the day we were supposed to check in. They couldn't supply us with a credit card receipt showing that our card didn't go through even though they used that as an excuse to cancel our reservation! The lobby was dirty. No furniture at all, not even a folding chair. They were rude and did not even help us find another hotel to stay at. Really interesting we didn't have a problem with another hotel at 4X the price.... -5 rating for this hotel! Stay clear, you will be disappointed!

This property is being advertised as something it is COMPLETLY NOT!!! The staff is extremely rude, they did not care whatsoever about posting false pictures of the property. There were junkies and prostitues walking in and out, sitting in the hallways and even going behind the front desk!!!! The staff seemed very friendly and familar with all of them! The rooms smelled horendous, there were dead bugs on the walls, the bed sheets were stained, the floors had what to me looked like tire marks you can just tell it was not mopped. The lobby did not have any seats for us to sit while I was on the phone with my booking agents to switch locations. This place needs a visit from the health department and needs to be shut down immediately!!!

The front desk gentleman was polite, BUT other than that I would not recommend staying here. There seems to be a severe lack of housekeeping, unfortunately. We checked out within 10 minutes of arriving. Our room was tidy, but DIRTY. The walls had stuff on it (spills?), the bathroom had black/browning (mold?), the floors were unswept and seemingly un-mopped, beds were made (though I wouldn’t sleep in them). The carpet in the hallway was stained and filthy… there was a dirty Q-tip hanging around and other small garbage. The lobby looks okay, but once you go toward the elevator it all goes downhill and stinks of gross cigarette smell. BIG renovations/cleaning needed. I ended up staying across the street at the Country Inn and Suits. MUCH better

Worst decision of booking this hotel where do I start. There is so many bad things but these are the worst. The homeless people sleep in the hallways, slam doors all night and the worst part smoke cigarettes right in front of my door and it creeps in my room. I have ask numerous times to not so do so because I have asthma I have come to learn homeless people have little respect for other people and their property. You would think if you are using someone property to throw your trash away they leave the halls filthy, urine, smoke 💨 and trash. I blame the hotel for not policing or have security. The guest argued the entire time I was there a full 7 days of chaos. I felt like I was in a halfway house / mental ward. Wow spend the extra hundred you will not regret it

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. I checked in at 10:30pm and checked out by 10:33 after seeing the room. First of all.. the light switch didn’t work as I walked into the room, so once I turned my flashlight on all I seen was roaches running everywhere on the wall and floor. I felt so disgusted it made me itch! Do not recommend. The pictures online will definitely fool you!!!!

Definitely believe all the BAD reviews on this place I stayed in October for my birthday weekend. The comforters are some cheap fleece like material with cigarette burns on both the beds in my room! Let’s not forget the burn mark on the side of the bed like someone had try to set it on fire! No microwave or fridge in the room no remote to the TV. When I went down to ask for a remote the front desk person asked me what kind of TV I had??!! Could not sleep peacefully sounded like someone was going to come in the room at anytime! So when I complained to TMobile about my stay the management lied and said I checked out at 12:30 and they didn’t charge me lies told we checked out at 10 because I couldn’t stay in that room any longer. The smell of the cleaner in the room was definitely covering something up!! Sleep in your car even bringing your own bedding and pillows like I did still doesn’t make the stay pleasurable. And it’s located in the hood sign outside gives warning to string potential of having your broken into. STAY AWAY!!!

“Welcome to the hotel from hell” said the man as we walked in the door. “Hell” I thought to myself “this can’t be as bad as well”. But, I was wrong. Broken furniture fills the hallways. Chain locks keep the doors closed at night. Venmo is an active way of payment. You want to wash your hands after using the toilet? No can do unless you bring your own soap. The roaches? Haven’t seen them just yet. But we’re prepared, Raid in hand to fight them through the night. May the odds be in your favor if you stay here my friends.

Do not stay here. Staff was rude. Elevators did not work half the time and when mentioned to staff they said "again?" Mold in multiple places in my room. No trash can or plunger in restroom. Floors were disgusting and sticky. Trash everywhere. Restrooms in lobby were out of order. No furniture in lobby. Trash outside the elevator (when it worked) including a used condom wrapper which took the staff 3 days to clean. Room smelled horrible. Telephone in room was busted. No cord to the telephone. Window framing was cracked. AC vent was busted. Outlets were half hanging off the walls and so much more I can write about. Even took pictures. I would not let my dying fish stay there.

I understand that Budgetel Inns & Suites its an affordable option compared to high-end hotels but the fact there’s poor customer service and unsanitary rooms, it’s just unacceptable. I arrived at the hotel, walked to the front lobby in which I had to look for a front desk agent since I wasn’t greeted by one - had to basically say “hello” a couple of times until someone decided to come out to assist me, went to the room that was assigned to me in which there wasn’t any lighting other the bedroom nightstand lamps, seeing roaches just walking all over the room and bathroom plus the floor being disgusting specially under the bed, having to basically beg the front desk agent for another room and him telling me to just “check-out” if I didn’t like it not taking into consideration that it was almost 1am and he did not know how long of a day I had, taking the elevator that smelled like cigarettes to the second room I was able to obtain and seeing the same issues? It’s beyond unacceptable, unsanitary and not CDC/WHO compliant and the only response received by the hotel property is: “Thank you for your review” based on previous guests’ comments.

Great extended stay and affordable, check priceline for the best rate. The staff are friendly, and the WiFi is complimentary. The building interior is under construction. The rooms include cable TV and a spacious bathroom with a king sized bed, microwave, mini fridge, desk , and a dresser. It's a great deal .

This place is filthy and broken down. It smells like animals, the lights and TV in my room didn't work, there were people screaming and making noise in the middle of the night. It looks nothing like the pictures. Do not stay here unless you're extremely desperate.....

Worse. Worse. Hotel. Never I'm advising you right now do not come here. Everything everyone saying is real, the roaches everywhere, the staff are rude and apparently going into rooms without permission?? Everything is just disgusting sheets are all dirty, can't get a single towel or blanket without there being a huge stain of some sort or cigarette burn. Constant shootings around the building which isn't the hotels problem just the area. Police everynight. AND YOU WILL NEVER GUESS they charge for toilet paper. Pool wasn't even fixed for weeks. Kids running around the hallways all night. Couldn't even look out the windows to enjoy the horrible view.

Worst experience ever. As soon as we walked in the room we noticed a really bad smell. The AC didnt turn on. And the bathroom was FILLED with roaches and mold. Asked for a refund 5 minutes after and they were nice enough to offer it to us.

Wow how to start… horrible horrible horrible the only thing is the room size was decent but they changed prices all the time had roaches everywhere the room had so much garbage under my bed.. McDonald’s cups 2liter bottles empty of course.. mildew in the bathroom.. they had homeless people sleeping in the stairways.. hall by ice machine and downstairs lobby! My rooms joining door didn’t even have a lock at all just a hole so the other person could come in anytime .. the only plus is Joe the maintenance man is there to help anytime day or night! He helped me and my kiddos often so I appreciate him! Plus we did meet a few other people that had been staying that were good people! Y’all know who you are! The area was definitely not were families should be longer than a night and ONLY if you have to because of the price!

The lobby smelled horrible, the room had gapped and peeling floor slats, the entire air-conditioner cover was missing (wires and sharp metal exposed), there were stains all over the chairs, and the shower curtain rod had broken loose and was hanging on by one screw on each side. Almost forgot, there was also NO smoke detector in the room. I wouldn't let my dog stay in this hotel.

Unfortunately I couldn't give them 0 stars so enjoy the 1 star I gave you. This place needs to be shut down immediately. I literally walked in and 5 min later after seeing the rooms the police the roaches and the man yelling in the hallway, he going to kill everybody. I quickly went and got my refund. This Place Is Horrible Definitely Hotel From Hell 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Only in emergency services. This place is was a dump. Sorry for the worst review ever. But they earned it. And the management never done anything to make it better. Never mind the price. Pay the fee extra dollars. So you can get some sleep

Place stinks of cigarette smoke from lobby to floors. Rooms are big, but appliances are a little wobbly, window was broken, sweet roaches were my roommates, noise from people, music, and dogs all times of the day and night, and filth and disrepair was everywhere.

This is your typical fly by night hotel. Do not stay here. bugs in bathroom, had to almost kick the door in just to get in the room. The floor is coming up like it has been cleaned since it was installed. after telling the manage we were leaving he just ok and would offer another room, discount or refund

My stay was terrible. The staff was terrible and unhelpful. The rooms smelled like mold, which I came to find out there was mold. The toilet and shower were both broken. Booked for two nights. On the first night we turned the AC unit on, woke up and there was water everywhere. Explained the issue to the front desk and was told that someone would be up to fix it. Hours later the problem wasn’t fixed, so we spoke to them again and they told us they would move us to a different room. Hours later we were still in the same room with a leaking air conditioner. When I expressed to them that I would need a refund they finally put us in a new room. The door was jammed and no one could get in. The front desk got an attitude with me. The second room they put us in smelled terrible and there were feces in the toilet. We found mold in various spots of the room. I told my family to just grab their stuff and leave. We didn’t even stay the second night. Went to checkout and request a refund and they told me the only way to get a refund was to email a specific email and that there was no one I could contact and/or speak to. I emailed them for a refund and have yet to be refunded anything. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t even give it one star, but it made me.

CHECK YOUR BEDS BEFORE ANYTHING!! I booked this room for a single night. The pictures online make it appear like a suitable place, but I can assure you that it isn't. All the curtains around the building were sun bleached. There are suppose to be 2 curtains per window, mine only had 1 and it didn't even span the whole window. The pool is drained. There is zero furniture in the lobby. The elevator had a musty smell. Walking into the room, it was the bare minimum. Bed, nightstand and a tv. First thing I did was check the bed. There were yellow stains on the sheets and pillow cases. There were also bodily hairs on the sheets and under the mattress cover. Absolutely disgusting. They have a 10 minute window from the time you check in to decide if you want the room, or not, for a refund. Use it wisely. The only good thing was no hesitation when asking for a refund.

Do not recommend! Smells musky/smoky. Not clean enough. Room needs a paint job really bad. Only gave us two towels, one wash cloth, and one hand towel for three people. Asked for another towel and wash cloth but was told they didn't have any. Really??? Only stayed one night and left earlier than planned. Don't stay here!!

Dirty, very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for my enemy spend a couple more dollars and go elsewhere. You’re better off staying in your car.

  • 1/5 Lindsay A. 2 years ago on Google
Going to start by saying I think a hostel would of been better than this hotel. Hotel lobby/hallways were stall air and humid. Get into room and this is what we got: only lights are the table lamps; bed had no pillows requested some and got 2; no mirror in bathroom and sink clogged; room wouldn't cool unless AC was at lowest setting of 61 degrees which then resulted in half the room flooding (couldn't be moved b/c hotel was "sold out"); one set of towels (asked for more but said had to wait until used the one set then can get more). Only plus was that is a 20ish minute walk (but not the safest area) to Truist Park and the shower had nice water pressure. Will NEVER stay here again and good luck on those that do!

  • 1/5 Christopher F. 2 years ago on Google
I asked the staff for an iron and ironing board. She stated that some rooms have some and some do not. We danced around a language barrier for at least 2 minutes prior to that answer. Next morning I see the staff member speaking perfect English to the front desk guy.

  • 1/5 Michelle R. 1 year ago on Google
In the room for less than 10 minutes. Initially uninviting & shady environment. Was only in the room long enough to strip the bed which had a number of hairs along with other remnants of previous guests & stained sheets. Singular curtain which did not even cover the window, trashy elevator, smelled of weed/cigarettes (even though it's a non-smoking facility), only 2 pillows in a king room for 2 guests, overall not a clean facility. The only good thing to come of our 10 minute stay, was the lack of resistance when we requested a refund. Would gladly give 0 stars if it was an option & urge anyone considering the stay here for cost or convenience to simply reconsider.

When we first got there after checking in the elevator wreaked of cigarettes and there are clearly posted No Smoking signs everywhere. There are signs on No dogs over 15lbs and there were plenty of guests with bug dogs well over 15lbs. Now let me get started about the room(406). The door to the room doesn’t shut all the way you have to slam it. It doesn’t have a working lock. The bathroom door handle and Lock is completely broken. The handle is hanging off the door. The door to the bathroom was split. The trim piece around the shower head was gone. The towels were wet when we arrived. The sink doesn’t drain. The bed only has 1 sheet no covers. The AC doesn’t work and it wreaked of smoke in the room. The TV was barely mounted to the wall without falling. Pieces of the wood floor were missing. The AC unit had pieces of wood in between the unit and the wall. The bed is the worst bed ever slept in. Overall the experience was miserable. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Didn’t even want to argue with the people I was so disappointed. Just left my room key at the front desk and left. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Not the best hotel I’ve been in. The room was decent but it had some issues. The tub floor was dirty, the AC filters where FILTHY and there was a little roach crawling on the wall. Apart from that, the beds were clean and the towels too so nothing to complain about that

  • 2/5 Victoria R. 2 years ago on Google
If you’re looking for a nice looking hotel and for the room to be gorgeous you will want to look elsewhere. The room did the job for us as we just needed a room to sleep in and left in the morning to go explore BUT if you want a bunch of amenities this is not for you. Pool is drained and they only give two towels so we had to buy our own as well and use the washcloths they provided to dry the floor as water gets everywhere when you use the shower due to the curtain not wanting to close. If you need pitch back to sleep the light shines very badly through a crack under the door as well. The room was clean and smelled nice as well. The beds were also comfortable and the AC and fridge worked very very well.

Not recommended. This location welcomes pets, which you are subject to hear throughout the night. The carpet floors are stained, the furniture is ripped along with holes in the wall, the bedroom floors are with debris (including the elevator doors, which had an odor), the television was poorly mounted to the wall including the bathroom mirror (hanging), my sink was being held by a wooden block and my air conditioning unit was cracked open. It was uncomfortable to take a shower, and bath as I saw either mold or another substance which wasn’t pleasant to the eye. Overall, I paid for two nights and stayed one night (uncomfortably, but content) while the next morning returning to the desk to get a refund for the second night. The clerk offered to clean another room, I declined. She kindly refunded my second night, and I visited another hotel.

Disgusting hotel! The floors in outside the elevator were dirty , elevator flooring is coming up, hall on 4th floor hasn’t been vacuumed in days, our room was dirty with cigarette ashes and wreaked of cigarettes, the security door lock was broken. No coffee maker, no shampoo, no iron or ironing board, hold on the Barth room door, no mirror above sink so my husband couldn’t see shaving, the wood trim was missing off one of the night stands and the couch had stains all over it with torn fabric. It felt like we needed a penicillin shot after staying there. Don’t let the website pics fool you. I took pics of everything. We booked through Hotels.com and neither the Budegtel nor Hotels.com would refund our money. The room is actually a $25 per night hotel.

  • 4/5 Lee A. 1 year ago on Google
I was sketched out coming here. The building smelled slightly moldy. the man who helped my friend and I out was courteous. The price of two beds one night during a weekday was 74 dollars. The room was clean, though do not expect much besides a clean bed, microwave, functional TV with free wifi. The bathroom was clean. The location is based on the locals around the area.

Do NOT stay here for any reason. Staff was rude and unwelcoming. We were given a room that was already being occupied by guests they didn’t know. Staff found this very funny like this wasn’t a safety issue!! The new room was disgusting. The pictures are a LIE. The place is terrible, run down, and dirty. There were roaches on the walls and it smelled so bad. Definitely not safe. Received my refund in less than 20 minutes of being there.

They no clean the room during the stay on the hotel. The facilities are poor, w/o maintenance, clean and any type of good aspect that you can cherish on a hotel. Their location is one the best of for do many things there, but the facilities are the worst oh the zone. Never again there

Do not allow yourself to be fooled by the online photos. Do not stay here. If you think this is a baseless rant, then try to book your stay without having to prepay for the room. Once you arrive, ask to see the room prior to processing the payment. Then once you see the absolutely horrific room, you will know why Im trying to warn people!

Worst every motel! I came in the motel thinking it was nice because of the pictures but no when I walked into the door and my room I realized the pictures were all photoshopped I had bought two rooms for my me my wife and my kids but in the first room the heater was broke so we went to the front desk to complain about it and he said he knew the heater was broke and in the other room there was another problem because the bed was broke when people sat in it flipped of it! Then the employee told us to get in one room which was a fire hazard because there was eight people in the room. When I looked in the corner of the third floor there was roach powder the rug was torn up looked like it has never been washed since 1910 with holes in gum on the floor and roaches crawling around the rug. Then in the next room the water was cold the door would not lock and the heat hardly worked .When i got on the bed in the third room we moved into the beds were crusty the bed sheets were even worse when I got in the bed I started to itch but I did not know what it was making me itch.So when we went to go ask for a refund he told us to call someone to get the refund and when had to say for one night to wait for the manager to come at 1:30 in the afternoon and we couldn't even get a refund worst every motel don't recommend even the rats don't wanna live here and the pool was horrid it had nasty water in it looked liked a 100 rats pissed in it and they was living in it playing soccer in it🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 dont reccomend its cheap but not worth a penny.

Worse of the worst…. Please don’t book here the pictures will fool you. When I first walked into the hotel this awful smell hit my nose. Got to the elevator the smell was even worse as if they’re using the elevator to piss in. Everything was just bad, got to my room notice the lights didn’t work as I walked in. Tried locking the deadbolt but it won’t lock only the latch. Also tried to use the phone to call front desk but that wasn’t working either. Not to mention people sitting in the hallway by my room. This place need to be shut down asap it’s an safety issue for sure. Nevertheless I walked in at 10:00pm and left by 10:05pm.

The hotel does not smell like piss or cigarettes, but there are sketchy individuals doing sketchy things. However, the management there is very nice and accommodating. So if you're staying there for just a night, go for it, but if you're trying to do three or four, spend the extra cash for a nicer spot.
