Recently went on a road trip and this museum was my favorite throughout the whole trip. It was rich in information and memorabilia. There is a lot to see and if you enjoy music, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re in the area or plan on traveling though, I’d highly recommend checking it out.

Went here while visiting my dad. Great little museum with plenty to see. The tour bus and the car worth seeing and it is good to hear some off the great music that came from the area. Was not crowded even in a Saturday afternoon.

So much to see and quite a enjoyable self tour. Took so many pictures and really enjoyed the back stories of so many AL legends. The Alabama tour bus was quite the sight.

This place was pretty cool. Admission was $10. A lot of interesting stuff. If you're traveling through, it's a nice place to stop and stretch your legs and take a walk through. Learned some new things so that was a bonus.

This museum’s self-guided tour includes interesting memorabilia from Alabamian musicians and songwriters of various genres. They even have a tour bus from the country group Alabama (which doubles as the facility’s storm shelter). If you are in the area and are a fan of music in general, it’s worth stopping by.

Great place to visit for state history in music. Has tons of photos of stars from Alabama along with those not. Going through the group Alabama's old tour bus was neat. Love the history of our state and this is a must.

Alabama is rich with a diverse musical history. I watched the Muscle shoals YouTube documentary before visiting the museum. Well worth the stop if you are in the area and have 1 or 2 hours to spend there.

I honestly believe nobody has any idea of what the state of Alabama has done for the world of music. If you've seen the movie Muscle Shoals, you have a taste. That documentary was about one area in particular. And mainly one studio, that later became 2 studios. Now multiply that across the whole state. And this museum dives into the history of what led to some of the greatest artists, studios, songwriters, producers, musicians, groups, and others who have made a career out of making music. Even being raised in this area and hearing hundreds of stories, I had no idea the depth of it all. From country, to rock, to hip-hop R&B, and everywhere in between. Do yourself a favor and scrape up a few bucks. Then set aside a couple of hours to tour this place. You walk at your own pace. You can float and go whichever direction you want. And if you have questions along the way, the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Set your own pace and spend all the time you want gaining a new appreciation for what Alabama has done for the rest of the world.

This place is like an encyclopedia all the displays are the same basic information in the same block format same. It would help if I could hear a bit of the music on my phone. [ must use headphones ] Did the people in this display know each other and which recording studio did they most often use.?

Great places to see. The tour bus was cool but the country cowboy car was worth the trip. Who knew so much talent came out of the Sholes
