Absolutely the rudest people to speak too. Placed an order for delivery to only be argued with about my where my address is. Then at end after being talked to awful was told I need to call another location because they don't know where my address is. Seriously need to get some customer service skills.

I decided to try this place for lunch one day. Ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special and a small won ton soup. You get a huge amount of food for the money. The chicken was as tender as can be and the food was full of flavor. Also, the food was done in about 10 minutes. Loved it.

Nine times out of 10 the food is amazing. However, I felt compelled to share this review incase others might need it. No.1 is a local favorite and personal favorite place to eat of mine, but this last order I had gave me food poisoning for the first time in my life. I will not be eating here again for a while. Be wary of your next meal here.

So the food is great but the problem I have is the delivery driver filled out the tip portion of my receipt on his own. I had already digitally given a tip. When I called the restaurant to tell them that the driver had filled in the tip section on his own so I ended up paying $15.63 instead of $13.63 that was quoted on my web receipt. The person on the phone asked me my address and said oh yes that's why there is a $2 delivery fee for that address (I live .1 miles away) ...and then hung up the phone. I realize this is only a few dollars but it's the principal. A tip was already paid when I ordered through the internet and then another tip was paid when I signed my receipt. I would expect the person on the phone to apologize not argue and justify the extra charges and hanging up when I mention ok I've never been charged a delivery fee!!!! ***update when I called again to make my point saying it's the principal. I paid a tip over the internet and then paid a tip a second time when the driver showed up. The woman on the phone argued that it's only an extra dollar so it doesn't matter...NO!!! It does matter!!!*** This is my go to for Chinese food. I regretfully won't be ordering again for quite a while. Sorry...

Take out only. But it's good tasting and they give you plenty. I get the dinners for two and have the leftovers for breakfast the next morning sometimes. I scramble eggs in with the rice. Hardly ever any disappointes.

I have spent a lot of money with this restaurant. Today, I placed my order online; and someone called me and asked me was I tipping the driver. HOW RUDE!!!! I told them to cancel my order. I always tip, I am a waitress. Clowns.

Everything I've ever ordered from this place always arrived fresh. Compared to it's competition this is a huge deciding factor of what Chinese restaurant we decide to order from. The delivery drivers are always nice and either ontime or before eta. I'll repeat that last part again either ontime or before eta. There's been multiple occasions where I have been doing something and had to stop to answer the door because the delivery is early. This is most certainly not a complaint. I do advise though if you order do not start getting frisky with your partner because these folks often arrive with your food before the eta.

Number 1 Kitchen in the West End is better than the one on route 60. Number 1 Kitchen used to be our favorite but the last few times we have ordered ,it was not that great. I dont know if they have new management or what, but the food is not fresh. Maybe they are trying to cut corners to save money. The fortune cookies are stale and the general chicken is all breading and dry. The rice was fine.

I love this place. It is clean, the food is delicious, and the service is awesome. The people are awesome. I had a busted out knee, and WhiteWolf was having to help me walk. It was extremely painful. They were thoughtful and had WhiteWolf pull the van up to the door for me when we started to leave, so I wouldn't have to struggle walking too far. They deserve more than 5 stars, though. 🌟

Decided to try something new and I should’ve just stuck to what I usually get (general tso or sweet and sour) I got the chicken and Chinese veg and it wasn’t my favorite, kinda had a weird taste but that’s just me.

You can only carryout or deliver, but the food is cheap, fair portions for the money, and really good. Nothing bad to say.

Today I went there to pick Up an order for my client. The woman threw the receipt at me and told me to sign it. I didn’t say nothing. I took the pop to my client and told her how the lady was towards me. She called and complained and the woman said she was a manager and told her she couldn’t order there ever again since she complained. So I called and was trying to find out why they told my client there. The woman was very rude to me on the phone also. Also asked why I called her a b****. I never once called her outta name. Needless to say my client and myself will not be back to ever spend money here. The woman was extremely rude. She wouldn’t give me corporate or the bosses info.. my client is very elderly and can’t cook for herself so the days that I’m not there she would order from this place. Now she can’t because this rude woman said she is never allowed to work there again. It’s not right at all and was very unprofessional

Number 1 kitchen in the West end has great food. They tend to have good service except for sometimes it's over an hour before you get your food delivered. Rarely is the food stale and warm.

After today I will NEVER order from here again. We order from here anytime we want Chinese. I called and placed a delivery I ordered for my kids, lunch special for myself and my husband a combination platter. I told the lady combination platter, made sure she heard me, she then repeated my order and said combination platter. When I received my order thy charged me for lunch instead of combination and gave me a lunch size. I called back and was told I would have to make a new order and pay the full price. They gave attitude when I said that the lady before confirmed that I wanted the combo platter NOT the lunch. When my husband talked to them he was told that "his wife needed to learn how to order from the menu", and she implied that I was stupid and didn't know what I was doing. When did that become appropriate behavior for customer service? My husband said he was bringing the food back and wanted a refund. That's when she said ok and you're never allowed to order from here again. Well I don't want to order from there and receive rude customer service all because you all messed up. I think I can live without Number 1 Kitchen, I took my business somewhere else and received amazing service!

Food is decent, but staff is rude and non accomodating. They charged a different amount on my card than what was stated at checkout and then were rude and confrontational when calling to correct it. The only offer was for half the incorrectly charged amount and to never order from them again. Very poor customer service from the staff.

Best Chinese food in our area. Always consistent and fresh. Also the lady that works the phones / orders ect is definitely a asset to them. I recommend this restaurant.

The quality of the food can be hit or miss. Some days things are great, and other days it's terrible. Consistancy and their nasty egg rolls are my two main complaints.
