Trails are great. Nice parking for horse trailers.

Great little park, very few people, big wide trails, some cool ruins/farm relics, and at least one very big Berkeley polypore!

I really enjoy hiking here! Part of the Buckeye Trail runs through and they have a primitive camp sites here. There’s scenic views of water which helps make it a peaceful experience (for me). Grab a map so you can follow the trails easier. I’ve been here many times and it’s never crowded so it’s a great place to go without worrying about social distancing being a issue. If you like hiking in a quite place in the woods, I feel like you would like Shaw Woods.

I must admit, I was apprehensive about walking this park as we were the only ones there & its off the beaten path. But I took my dog and we both loved it. The paths are not gravel or asphalt, but very easy to distinguish the path routes. Went the day after it rained so it was a bit sloppy in spots. But our walk was beautiful, quiet & adventurous. We saw/heard lots of wildlife, found some park benches to rest at and enjoyed the mixture of sun and shade. My fur baby loved it and looked like she was on a mission to sniff EVERYTHING 😊 We very much enjoyed this hidden gem and will definitely be back to explore more!

Hiking the Buckeye Trail Little Loop and camped at Shaw Woods for the night. Dan and his Grandma next door were kind enough to let me get water from their spigot. Beautiful park.

Decent trails. Seems to be maintained. A nice local park, but nothing exceptional. Not much in the way of scenery, but some portions of the trail align with a local river. Exceptionally muddy trails, some even fully submerged, in early spring.

Great park! The trails are nice and well marked and super clean. There is a lot of variety of plants and trees.

Beautiful woods. The area is a little remote for NE Ohio. I have only walked the first loop since it was my first visit. I plan to do the others soon.

Was here for a wedding reception, the park was well maintained and the staff very friendly.
