I had my ceremony and reception done at Stambaugh Auditorium and had an amazing experience. I primarily worked with the event coordinator, Shannon Burns, who is fantastic! Shannon helped me organize the wedding every step of the way. She was very professional, patient, and accommodating. She took every request I made into consideration and provided me with her own ideas and expertise as well. Both the ceremony and reception were done upstairs in Christman Hall. The hall was beautiful and Stambaugh itself looked amazing with all of the holiday decor/decorations throughout the building. Everyone we worked with were so professional and helpful. The venue itself was actually a decent price, however, be mindful that you do have to book one of their approved separate caterers which adds more to the cost, especially if you are trying to stick to a budget. All in all, the experience was great and I highly recommend booking Stambaugh Auditorium for a special event!

I went with some friends to see the silent movie Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with someone playing the organ. At the beginning, he told us about the organ and about the music of the time. He only had a sheet with excerpts of music from that time and told us he was basically going to wing it using those bits of music. It was awesome! I’d love to go back and see other shows they have here at the auditorium!

As a wedding photographer, I get to see so many different venues. By far, Stambaugh is I’ve if my absolute favorite places to photograph. The gorgeous interior and exterior are the perfect backdrop for your day. Staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. Over the years, I’ve shot so many wedding ceremonies and receptions here. I have never had a bad experience or heard of a disappointed bride.

We went there for a 40's era big band performance. They were the Glenn Miller Band of today, and they were excellent! The band leader also sang, and they had a "girl" singer who literally floated on the stage and was perfect!

I went for a school field trip and it was absolutely gorgeous, somehow, even the water fountains were fancy.

What a great theater to see an event. Love this place and will look for things playing here so that I can get back there. Easy to get to and a good sized parking lot as well.

Perfect place for my wedding! It was a joy to have both my reception and my ceremony at Stambaugh Auditorium. The staff is incredible, Shannon is one of the best and made sure the day went off perfectly. I couldn't sing higher praises!

Restrooms were a bit small for a meeting and concert hall. Nice that it had a freight elevator tucked away from where folks might congregate.

Stambaugh Auditorium is one of the last great places in Youngstown. It's a far better venue than has any business being in modern Youngstown, but it's majesty remains undimmed by the years.

Great YSU event with speaker Tony Hawk. Free event - hard to get anything for free anymore, so thank you YSU and symposium funders. Well run. Lots of people assisting and greeting!

Stambaugh was beautiful and well kept. The opera was very good. The lead man, rodolfo, had the best voice I remember hearing for a long, long time. Everyone sang well. Every one did a good job acting, especially rodolfo and musette. The settings were good for setting the mood. It looked like paris in 1830. The orchestra did a great job. I plan to return and to tell others.

Veterans dinner followed by a performance of the Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus. Food was very good. The band was a real musical treat. The chorus reflected their Grammy winning abilities.

Nice hall food so- so, wasn't sure if it was chicken or pork chop. Whatever it was it was dry. 300 people at wedding didn't seem as tho they knew how to feed everyone in a timely manner.

My daughter had a dance Competition 2 weeks ago. They had the air conditioning on so high that the children were freezing. They were freezing. My daughter could not perform properly because the air conditioning was way too high. It was warm outside that day however there was no call for the building to be less than 50゚ inside. Every disappointing

Beautiful venue, excellent service, police in parking lot, security in building. The staff is outstanding. Dani Dier and her crew are top notch. I hope to work there again as a musician.

The structure of this building is breathtaking and beautiful. Everywhere you look, there is stunning detail. We came for a dance competition and everything was well organized and the auditorium is very spaceous.
