Delicious! I'm dairy free and chef was willing to make my eggs without butter or milk. Vegan hot chocolate was amazing too. Lovely environment and all round very great first experience. I'll definitely be back.

Had the most amazing brisket sandwich and cup of coffee here! It was really the best sandwich I have ever had and the coffee is fresh brewed and strong! Unfortunately wasn’t staying long enough to try the beers.

This is an extraordinary cafe! From the drinks to the amazing tasty, nutritious breakfasts. I recommend the rock rabbit drink which is a fresh pressed juice with a very tasty apple danish on the side. Some items are a little expensive, but definitely worth the money! The bread will always take the cake for one of the best items on the menu, especially the sourdough.

This place is insane amazing specially for Pinelands wow. Well done to the owners you out did yourself. The look and feel is special and you don’t feel like you in Pinelands at all. The food is yummy and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are clean. The coffee is nice I do wish they did v60 though and had nicer tasting beans. Go and check it out Fam. Also they need signs to let you know the work pods you need to pay for R200 a hour.

After reading about their Pastei de Nata we had to go try out the Hoghouse and so happy to confirm that this is one of the best there is. The service is different in that you can get a seat and look at the menu but you must place your order at the front desk. I had the brisket sandwich which was good. Some menu items ( like the pulled Pork burger) are only available after 11:30 and they will not place order before that time. The restaurant is in the industrial area in Ndabeni / Pinelands - so no pretty views or anything. There's parking across the road in an empty plot.

What a delightful gastronomical experience! Hoghouse's food is prepared with absolute love and the waiting staff are very polite. This is a gem of a place and ideal for a break from life, a casual meeting place or just a place to hang out with hearts-folks. Hoghouse also has its own beers, gin, hot sauce and bbq sauce, among other goodies. If you are in the area and want to visit, I would strongly recommend them.

Great place with a good ambiance and chill atmosphere, the food was on point and the beer was crisp and refreshing. Pop in for a nice meal and relax after a long week at work.

It's a pretty chilled place with more diversity than you would expect. The food is an experience and they smoke all kinds of meat as tapas essentially. Order the burnt ends and flight beer - you can thank me later. There's nothing bad on the menu but it's the kind of place to should eat at often, because your waistline will punish you if you do it too often.

Really good concept in the pinelands area. Well decorated with an industrial feel. I booked a friday early evening dinner to experience as much of the menu as possible, they only serve the full menu at Friday dinner, and I ordered most of it. I received really good service, while the space was quite busy. Unfortunately to me the food did not live up to my expectations due to dishes lacking the smoke I was looking for. Its quite lightly smoked, more bbq flavour than smoke. The best dish on my table was the jalapeño poppers which had a really intensely smoked cheese inside with a great balance. The overall experience was still good, with the beer tasting and vibe, i will try it again hoping for a bit better as a i am a big fan of smoke houses.

Enjoyable dinner here this evening. Service was good and fast. Food arrived quickly and was super tasty. Well cooked and definitely tasted fresh to order! However portions were small for the prices listed. At least 3 small plates to eat a substantial meal! Overall, worth a trip here! Nice spot 👊🏽

My experience with the team at Hoghouse was phenomenal! I planned a birthday for my partner and they thought of every detail, they were accommodating and helped me to build the perfect menu. The food is well prepared with great sides to accompany the meat, with a chilled and warm ambiance. They recommended the cake from the bakery and it was so wholesome and tasted great. Louise and her team were amazing and I will definitely be back.

The service and atmosphere are great, definitely worthwhile stopping here for a bite. The food was a little underwhelming after hearing great reviews. I had a brisket sandwich which had maybe one thin slice of meat which wasn’t too flavourful. The hand cut fries with the garlic aioli was good. Had a hot chocolate which was great and comes with chocolate cookie :). The hazel nut pastel de nata was incredible. From this I assume they’re baked goods must be good so would definitely like to try more.

Authentic brewery doing a great beer tasting experience but the smoked barbecue is a treat. Spareribs are a delight, the jalapeño poppers with the smoked cheese filling is excellent and the hand cut chips are epic. And if you have a sweet tooth the pecan pie deserves 10 stars.

I was deciding g on a breakfast venue while waiting out my vehicle service at Greenside motors and would not have known Hoghouse was even there had I not seen a stream of early morning patrons leaving with take away coffee in hand. Entering WOW was I not expecting this. Neat aproned staff, simple but elegant furnishings inside and out, and such a friendly and efficient waiter with breakfast served within 10 minutes of ordering. The flavor of home mades, delicious with a sprinkle of their Iconinic Sriracha Hoghouse fire starter Thai hot sauce. Thank you, Hoghouse team I shall recommend and shall definitely be back.

Bought a black coffee large this morning. Within a few minutes my cup disentigrated and spilled coffee all over my hand. The coffee flavour wasn't anything to write home about. The initial flavour a bit bland, with almost no lingering taste on the pallet.

10/10 every time we go here. Everything is delicious, you would expect the meat to be great, but the parmigiana is amazing and their braai Broodtjies and their pasteis de nata’s are honestly the best I’ve ever had!

With a Dutch partner, this was the place to go to introduce him to not only fantastic food..but also great beers. If you want to experience a South African braai with a fine dining twist, Hoghouse will most definitely not disappoint!!!

Incredible atmosphere. Incredible food, from the super buttery croissants, to the out-of-this-world gammon and brisket. Beers are fantastic, and their pasties (and pasteis) are mind blowing. But why the 4 instead of 5 stars? It's because they don't have milkshakes.

what en experience! i could enjoy the full program of nice and delicious meat directly coming from the huge ‚oven‘. but of course - i was there because of the beer. which is amazingly good. i had the chance to see behind the doors and could also met the person behind all those beer varieties - just wow! the atmosphere is also super cool. there is a lot of parking space available and the wibe of people is very chilled. see you soon! definitly five star

Absolutely love this restaurant and Cafe. Went to the restaurant on the Friday evening with my son Luke and when I went back there on the Saturday and Tuesday the waiter remembered me. Food Absolutely amazing. You have to book for the restaurant otherwise you will be disappointed when you just arrive. The pastries are a must to taste and if you love sourdough bread then this is definitely the place to be!

Went for a beer tasting. Well pleasantly surprised. Basically a deli with beer. What more can a man want if he has a non- beer drinking companion. Good wine as well by the glass.

I dont know about the craft beer, someone else will have to talk about that BUT the pastries are incredible.try the pateis de natos (sp?), PDN is the abbreviation, with cup of coffee special.PDN are incredibly yummy. the croissants are crisp and delicious too.lots of other goodies to choose from All freshly baked and continuously topped up. Dont be fooled by the office park exterior. This is a real find for the baked goods.outside tables screened from the road.there are inside tables too (it's a bit echoey for me) be warned it closes at 15H.

The pastries were varied and was absolutely delicious. Service was smooth polite and sometimes overwhelming. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.

Delicious food. All round amazing experience. From our phone call before hand to arriving at the door to leaving. We were treated like royalty. Staff all so friendly and welcoming. Food was divine.
