Fantastic Cafe! I come here regularly for breakfast and good food. I brought my wife with me today, and the service has never been better! Brooke, our waitress today, was so kind and friendly. She made the atmosphere perfect today. She was always refilling our coffee, clearing our plates, and the food came very prompt. This restaurant is cozy with great food, and the service today has made it top notch! P.S. Brooke needs a raise

What a great place for breakfast. Like the other reviews say, literally, everything is good. The chicken fried steak is awesome, with just the right amount of delicious gravy. And also, like the other reviews say, the coffee cake is outstanding! Service is A1. Definitely something you should check out.

We love this special breakfast spot in Oceanside right off PCH. It reminds me of Hawaii where I’m from on the Big Island. They have great breakfast menu, a huge breakfast burrito and a crazy dish called banana crunch French toast loaded with whip cream and fresh bananas! The coffee is great too!! A cute place one of our favorites!!! Stop in and see Harrison the owner he brings a lot of flavor and wonderful food to anyone looking for the best breakfast in Oceanside!!! Beachbreak Cafe is an asset to our little community!! Thank you!!

Went here while some relatives were in town. I've been here a few times and thought it was great! They don't take reservations, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was nice. I got an omelet with a potatoe pancake and coffee cake. I love their coffee cake so much! My relatives tried some other food like the country fried steak, the corned beef hash, and a burger. The burger comes deconstructed so you can put what you want in it 🍔 Everyone is chatting around you making for a nice cafe atmosphere, but no music playing. I'd come back!

Pretty tasty breakfast, prices are ok considering you get a lot of food. They had about 15 people running about all over so they are never understaffed.

We are visiting from Arizona. Read online about this place. Food was hot and fresh. Coffee cake was amazing.

First time here about 5 months ago was great. Went back and was very disappointed. Could tell pancakes were extremely over mixed so they were really rubbery and chewy… it’s not that hard but I’m not sure why you wouldn’t make yourself one tiny pancake out of the huge batter mix and test it out before serving tons of guests? Anyway, they forgot my coffee, had to ask again for it. Hash browns were okay… cooked in way too much oil though. Then they forgot my toast with my meal, which I didn’t think about until we were long gone. Server was half asleep I think. Throw in the high prices and well, it’s a pretty each choice to not come back again, unfortunately.

Hubby and I had breakfast here and had a great experience. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. I got the Greek omelet with potato pancakes and hash browns (yes, 2 potatoes, don't judge 😜). Husband got the banana crunch French toast (crunch is Honey Bunches of Oats cereal) with turkey sausage.

Can coffee cake count as an entree? Asking for a friend! So as you can guess, this restaurant has the most amazing coffee cake ever on the menu. Worth driving here for, waiting in line for, etc. The rest of the menu is just as yummy with lots of breakfast and lunch favorites. I decided to up the sugar content with some French toast. The decor is all surfing and fun to look at. Downside was the wait - it’s a bit much during peak times and it seemed a bit chaotic to someone who wasn’t a regular. But all of that is worth it for the awesome food!!

What a gem of a local restaurant. If you're ever visiting Oceanside, this is a must go! Great food and service by a local family-owned restaurant. Zelle has kept the place going for 35 years and now her son, Harrison, is keeping it going. Fantastic for breakfast and lunch. The corned beef hash is their own and so good. The Chile Verde omelets are fantastic (get it with the loaded potato pancake and coffee cake). Finally, the Awesome omelet is self explanatory. Good prices ($10-15/person) and portions. Walk in and waddle out!

Greeted at the front door and made to feel welcome. I was seated immediately. Waitress was very accommodating and made suggestions. Met and exceeded my expectations. Meal was served quickly. It was good and warm, served exactly like I wanted. My fried egg was actually over easy. Perfect with the delicious whole wheat toast. I had my meal with fresh tomatoes that were. And lots of slices. I was then told not to rush as I finished my last swallow of delicious piping hot coffee. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

There's a reason for the wait. I always make time when I'm in Oceanside to stop by at least once. The food isn't complicated but it is tasty! The corned beef hash and eggs is hands down the best you will get. At other places I sift through a pile of potatoes to find a shred of corned beef. Here the ratio is almost 1:1. It's the only place my kids - who are in their 20s - order pancakes. Other than the occasional sticky spot on the table I have nothing bad to say.

You know when you don't spend much money and the food is great AND a LOT? So, welcome to Beach Break Cafe 😂😂😂 We had a corned beef hash and a Canadian bacon sandwich that were a joke! So tasty... And please, order the coffee cake, you won't regret it!

Beach Break Cafe We ordered the omelette and chili-size burger. Even though we have been in the U.S. for several years, we are shocked at the size of the meal. That plate of potatoes is just a side came with the omelette. Also that big bowl of soup was supposed to be a cup of soup came with my burger!!! I like the chili-size burger a lot. It looked weird (to me 😆) but tasted really good. Omelette was kind of so so. Next time we will try something different!

15/10!!! Highly recommend! First time here. Monday mid day. Busy but tables available. Host person and Server= so friendly and nice. Asked server what they recommended and they mentioned a few best sellers which we got 3 of them: the chili verde omelette, banana crunch french toast and the crumb cake. WOWIE SO GOOD. Warning the crumb cake is served with warm sugar icing so I suggest eating it there instead of taking it to go so you don’t miss out on that goodness. Food flavorful (verde sauce packs flavor not heat), portions generous, coffee tasty and hot, surf board decor, clean restaurant- our new favorite! Thank you for our wonderful meal/experience.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way passing through town. Casual surfer/beach vibe. There must have been more than 2 dozen people waiting to be seated when we added our name to the list. We were seated in about 20 minutes. All the staff is super friendly. I ordered the chicken machaca scramble and it was absolutely fantastic, I would definitely come here again.

Second time here and as usual the breakfast was very good! The crispy home fries are my favorite and they’re “fluffy pancakes.” My friend had the Huevo Rancheros and she said “they were to die for!” All the staff could be a little more friendlier and maybe acknowledge the customer even if they aren’t your server. I’ve tried to get into this place on the weekends and it’s in possible.

Stopped in for brunch with some friends. Excellent food, service, atmosphere, and price. Brooke was a fantastic, fast, friendly, and knowledgeable server. Love th we look and feel of this Cafe. Plenty of Gluten Free options

Fantastic cafe that is popular for a reason. Quick and friendly service and good, homemade food. When the corned beef hash is made with real corned beef and not the stuff that resembles cat food, that's always a good sign. Coffee cake was excellent too.

Went here twice during our stay in Oceanside. The food, atmosphere, and staff are all outstanding. Portions are huge! Will definitely go here again next time we are in town. The coffee cake and the Banana Crunch French Toast are both unreal.

I really liked this restaurant, the staff is very happy to be there and over all very friendly. The food is just amazing. No complains on the food. Parking can be a little inconvenient but a nice walk is good The business gets extremely busy so the best time to go is 8!
