An amazing Cafe, the food is faultless and the coffee is really really hot! So much variety and prices really aren't too bad! It can get very busy quickly, but it's no surprise because of the quality here. Thanks for many wonderful mornings

Another case of.....the Google reviews brought me here. Post camping, it seemed that quality pancakes were in order. And, Modish5 had some extra friendly support on that front. This establishment has a nice, warm atmosphere and was frequented by both cyclists and family groups alike. I'd imagine it would be a good 'date' venue as well. Decorations were varied but tasteful and interesting. The sign at the door says wait to be seated, but there are no staff members apparently ready to seat incoming customers, at least not on this occasion. Once staff were ready, the service was pleasant. Food service was slightly slow and on this occasion we found one pancake had been scorched, plus the poached eggs on another dish were not runny. This is points off in my book! However, there were numerous positives about the Modish5 experience and I'd be happy to return one day.

Exceptional place for coffee, cakes and meals. Great atmosphere inside and out. Friendly staff. I'm a regular and it's my favourite local cafe.

Excellent ambience and good food. Service is great friendly staff Diana and Daniel. The Chicken BLT burger was nice chicken crispy and the beef burger juicy and great flavour. The zucchini fritters were excellent

We always love to visit Modish, however this morning was such a let down! We waited 30 minutes for poached eggs on toast, when they eventually arrived the waitress did not apologise for the delay and we were not offered pepper, then found the eggs were overcooked and dry, very disappointing and when clearing the table, the waitress asked if we enjoyed our meals, I replied not really as the eggs were overdone and her reply was oh well, have a lovely day 🤔😳🙄

Low score for closing 25min early. Had planned a business meeting over coffee but was told the coffee machine had been cleaned early because it was quiet. Opening hours are opening hours guys. It's the cost of doing business Now found a new place close by so after many visits I will no longer go here

This place is below average in every aspect. The food is disgustingly cold when it comes out, the coffee is sour or extremely bitter and the service is very amateur. The service I'm not too worried about as they are mostly kids working there but everything else is dogwater. Do not recommend.

Unfortunafely after such a great experience the first time we came here, it was very much the opposite this time. Food took over an hour to be served, in fact one hour and 25 minutes. no indication of this when ordering no update from staff had to ask how long the meal would be at the 50 minute mark of waiting, no apology. It wasnt any busier quite strange, a shame.

Really disappointed this place used to be amazing with the old owners since change of ownership the quality has gone down all those personal touches are gone. We ordered the kids pancakes which were uneditable by my 6 year old they were like cardboard no fairy floss anymore when I asked for a side of strawberries they told me they couldn’t do that when I asked for no blueberries that’s all we got in it every I requested like ice cream in it we didn’t get it. We used to love this place it used to be our regular but no longer will we return

Got charged an additional 20 cents for sauce by a very rude waitress after spending over $50 on breakfast, which should have come with sauce anyway. We have been here a fair few times before, but will be looking for another place for breaky now

Fantastic find. Extensive menu. Toasted egg n bacon roll only $8!. The coffee was made exactly to order. Triple shot for a large take away. Cafe has a funky vibe to it and it was nice and quiet at 1.30. Good sound tracks in background. Maybe best of all- service with a smile.

Food was lovely but unfortunately the communication was extremely poor. My daughter requested a condiment from the waitress to which she replied no problem, when the male brought the condiment he placed it on the table and THEN informed us of an additional cost! Why were we not informed at the time of ordering? My wife queried but no apology was given. Not impressed

Such a lovely local Cafe. Tried the haloumi salad which was bloody amazing. Photo after I demolished most of it... The salad will be added to the 2024 menu 😋 👌 Plenty of space for a pram inside and out. Plus dog friendly. Definitely recommend.
