It is not often that the company we turn to for help goes beyond the formal warranty conditions for our equipment. This is what happened recently when my detector broke down and the warranty turned out to be issued by the manufacturer and not the seller, which basically excluded free repair. Despite this, the company, guided by the good of the brand, repaired it under warranty and also provided original spare parts.
