A bleak place. Read Polish history and you'll understand why.

Beautiful poignant place overlooking the Vistula. War violence from many years ago can be felt in the air. But humankind is strong, and able to choose good and evil. Good will always win.

(Translated by Google) One of the most interesting museums in Warsaw. It is worth listening to the history of the Citadel passed on with great knowledge by the employees of the facility. (Original) Jedno z najciekawszych muzeów w Warszawie. Koniecznie warto posłuchać historii Cytadeli przekazywanej z dużą wiedzą przez pracowników placówki.

(Translated by Google) Worth seeing. A place full of history. Recipient for real contact with places where people who had a great influence on the history of our part of the world have stayed. Many famous Poles were serving their sentence in the 10th pavilion. Unfortunately, some of them never left the walls of the Citadel. The cost of the entrance ticket is PLN 10 for a normal ticket. Entrance from the Wisłostrada side. (Original) Warto zobaczyć. Miejsce przepełnione historią. Odbiorca na realny kontakt z miejscami gdzie przebywały osoby mające wielki wpływ na historię naszej części świata. Wielu znanych Polaków odsiadywalo karę w X pawilonie. Niestety część z nich nigdy nie opuściła murów Cytadeli. Koszt biletu wejściowego to 10 zł za bilet normalny. Wejście od strony wisłostrady.

This was an intriguing and fantastic place to visit in Budapest, especially if you are interested in medicine, health care, history and hospitals. I was in my element! The only disappointment was that no photography was allowed and there was no book available to buy as a memento.

Museum is interesting and presenting different eras but require strong background knowledge of Polish history. Some descriptions are in Polish only (including poems on the walls and tablets in front of the cells) but mostly it is foreigner friendly.

(Translated by Google) I am very surprised and "delighted". I did not know that the museum is so extensive, contains elements that can be touched and a large number of audiovisual files. A great way to learn about the history of the mines arises, which topic has always been a bit overlooked by me. Strong 5! Plus very polite employees, best regards;) (Original) Jestem bardzo zaskoczona i "zachwycona". Mocna 5! Plus bardzo uprzejmi pracownicy, pozdrawiam serdecznie ;)

(Translated by Google) Beautiful surroundings by old trees but in spring. The museum itself, its exhibition strongly gives food for thought: about suffering, pain and about what people are like.

(Translated by Google) A must see place. The big disadvantage is that it is currently not possible to visit the interior of pavilion X, it is nowhere marked. Visiting only the top of the citadel outside.

(Translated by Google) A little known place, I still associate with museums. Meanwhile, in the 10th Pavilion, you can see the only such original place - an investigative prison from the 19th century. This is the time when Poland was not there. There were Poles who fought for independence. It was they who were locked within the walls of the Citadel, in the 10th Pavilion. It's worth getting to know this place. It is not far from the Old Town and close to the Olympic Center. I was and I don't regret it! (Original) Mało znane miejsce, jeszcze mnie kojarzone z muzeami. Tymczasem w X Pawilonie obejrzeć można chyba jedyne tak oryginalne miejsce - więzienie śledcze z XIX wieku. To czas, gdy Polski nie było. Żyli Polacy, którzy walczyli o niepodległość. Właśnie oni zamykani byli w murach Cytadeli, w X Pawilonie. Warto poznać to miejsce. Jest niedaleko od Starego Miasta, blisko Centrum Olimpijskiego. Ja byłem i nie żałuję!
