We've been coming here for our Indian food fix for almost 20 years now. It's always a pleasure, the welcome friendly, the ambience cosy, the service attentive and the food fantastic. We've got other Indian restaurants closer to where we live, but none of them come close to matching Mr India, let alone beating them. So, a big thank you to the management and staff for being a mainstay of our dining experience for so long that we feel almost part of the family.

Absolutely wonderful! Staff are exceptional. My first visit and I felt like I was in the company of friends. The atmosphere across the restaurant was lovely. The service was fantastic by all staff, and I am fussy! Food delicious. So fresh and beautiful flavours. Nothing was any trouble even with a special request for the main meal! Will see you again soon. Thank you.

Mr India never disappoints. Birthday meal for 14 people which went fantastically. A set menu was provided which consisted of a mixed starter and then main. Three different curry's along with breads and side dishes. The staff worked really hard to ensure all went smoothly, even supplying a candle topped birthday cake. Would highly recommend Mr India Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Thank you 👏👏👏👏👏

Pretty good food and very tasty 😋 The the service was good, helpful suggestions, on time not rushed.. The staff very accommodating, we just turned up and they found us a place to sit and eat willingly no fuss. Priced of the food was reasonable. I enjoyed the experience, very clean restaurant and comfortable seating. Give it a try a popular food place..

Mr India…. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly welcoming and attentive. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, not to quiet and not to noisy. The samosas were the best we’ve had, light and crispy with perfectly cooked vegetables that held their shape, and just the right amount of spices. All of our food was fresh, vibrant and beautifully presented, we will be back and very soon!

Orderd takeaway biriyani came not with side curry but a spinach dish with unmelted lumps of butter Chicken was tough and pre cooked garlic Nan when ordered plain - called and new biriyani sent but with the worst watery curry side ever seen.. refused to refund money despite not being to eat the food..

I’ve just ordered from here for the first time, and what I ordered was absolutely delicious. I even rung the restaurant to give feedback, and I spoke with the manager who was extremely pleasant. If you want an Indian meal, I would strongly recommend Mr. India.

From the moment we entered, the warm welcome and inviting ambiance made us feel right at home. The menu offered a dizzying array of delicious sounding dishes and we struggled to decide what to have. In the end I had the Mangalorian Chicken and my partner had the King Prawn Rosan - both were amazing. The service was attentive and friendly and made it a relaxing evening. If you're in the area I highly recommend giving Mr India a visit!

Working away from home, trying to keep to a diet & wanting a curry. Mr India made me a dish exactly as I asked for it. No hidden Fats at all. Cooked especially for me. Absolutely delicious. Really friendly & accommodating staff. Will visit again next time I'm here. Thank you.

We have been visiting Mr India for more than 10 years. They are always friendly and they always try to maintain the quality of food. I visited last week with my wife and ordered some food including Hyderabad lamb shank which always used to be served with Rice. Last week rice was not served. When my wife asked about it, we were told that they stopped providing rice. Since we asked, we were given some rice. We asked for our bill. In the bill we noticed that the price of the food listed on their menu didnt match with the price on the bill. When we asked about that we were told that the price had been recently increased. I told them that they should have updated the menu with their new prices so the customers would know. They didnt say anything so we end up paying more money. I expected that the manager would recalculate based on their menu price! I am totally disappointed by their customer service last week and I doubt I will visit again.

I’ve been dining @ Mr India for over 20 years now, and I still find it hard to find a better a curry locally. If you like your curry hot, I highly recommend their Lamb Naga , Dost kata masala, Golapi dishes 👌🏼

I’ve been here a couple times now. Each time I have visited the food has been delicious! Staff are very friendly and even give me a curry that isn’t displayed on their menu (phal). They even went to the lengths of offering an extra starter as one of the meals took slightly longer to cook than the rest. Highly recommend!

One of the best Indian takeaways I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, tasty, and not saturated in oil like most. Highly recommended! Thanks Mr India for a lovely new years takeaway 🙏

We went tonight’s for my partners mothers birthday and we had an absolutely lovely meal. The service was great, attentive and nice staff. We did ask for a cake as to celebrate and we thought they would just give us one from the dessert menu that we would pay for but they went the extra mile and bought one in themselves from Morrisons and served it to us at the end of the meal. We couldn’t have asked for more and were very happy with that little touch making us feel special. This isn’t our first time there and it won’t be the last for sure. The food is truly very delicious, bhajis are fresh, curry’s are all delicious and not greasy at all making you not feel horribly sluggish as some places do. Definitely go if you’re looking for a new Indian place or just a local!

Having lived in loudwater 20 years ago, we decided to order from Mr India during our recent return to loudwater. The first time we ordered they messed up our order, but as we were really hungry we just ate it. We were told we will be looked after next time! We ordered from there again today, the food was horrible. No discount, no being looked after, nothing. Even the salad bowl, half a cherry tomato and one slice of cucumber!! Being Indian this restaurant is a joke, Mr India needs to take a visit back to India and learn what a proper Indian dish is, calling your food Indian is a disrespect to our heritage. But since he has a high rating, we can see his customers have no clue about a PROPER curry. EDIT, 3 hours after eating the food I had to hot step it to the toilet. And today the day after, I've been to the toilet 5 times. And I'm the only one who had the lamb curry!!!!!

We have been eating at Mr India for years (at least once or twice a month) and can say without question that this is best Indian Restaurant around. The owner and staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant is always busy and buzzing, particularly over the weekends. You see lots of the same people time and time again, which again is testimony to how good this restaurant is. The food is fantastic, portions plenty, and it is certainly competitive in term of price, especially considering the quality of the food. We have never had a bad meal here! The Bay of Bengal is the best dish on the menu, but if you like them hot, then go for the Naga, it’s stunning! If you are thinking of going here, then stop thinking, ignore the negative reviews and just try it, you won’t be disappointed!

The food is just divine especially the paneer ! My daughter and I always enjoy our dinner. They were very accomodating with baby. My daughter loves the salmon grill and the pilau rice. The table service is perfect and the waiters are friendly but still professional. It a real treat to go there!

I've been to Mr India a few times as it's very close to my workplace. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the food is good. I would prefer slightly more vegetarian options (though there are some plus a few vegan ones as well) and cheaper soft drinks (almost the same as a pint of beer)! But all in all it's a great restaurant that we keep going back to.

First time visiting Mr India with my family tonight and we were blown away by the food, the hospitality and the service! We visited for my husbands birthday and I left I note when booking for them to bring out maybe a slice of cake with a candle - and they bought out a whole carrot cake and played a happy birthday song for him! So lovely. The food was superb, the staff are very attentive and the jewel in the crown has to be the owner - Khazi. What a genuinely humble and lovely man - I will be coming back here no doubt! Thank you Mr India.

Fantastic dishes and exceptional service! Had not been to Mr India since the pandemic restrictions, and I have to say that the same team are there, still delivering exceptional service. The meals were delicious, and the menu looks better than ever!! Thank you guys for a fabulous evening, and we will see you again in a couple of weeks!!

We've been here many times. Fantastic food and a great service as usual. By far the best Indian restaurant in the area and reasonably priced.

A very customer service oriented restaurant. Despite not having a reservation on a busy evening, they were able to work to get my wife and I a table after a long trip. Their excellent food and compassionate service was refreshing and enjoyable.

We recently went to Mr. India for Diwali Lunch. It was very good experience. Quality of food and service were excellent. They gave an ice-cream to our kid free of charge. Whenever we go there, always feel a homely atmosphere. We’ll visit there again.

First time attending Mr India. My daughter had her wedding reception there. The food was exceptional tasty, especially the vegetable curry. The staff was most pleasant and friendly. Many options to choose from if your a picky eater. Only downfall was the parking area, but the food made up for it.. I would recommend having a meal in a lovely atmosphere.

We had a takeaway delivery last night. All was delicious and tasted very good. Customer service brilliant and delivery was in 25min as we asked. Polite delivery man. Couldn't ask for more. Very happy!

Love Mr India food and service good for many years. However ordered delivery and price they quoted exceeded my calculation by £5 approx. Chap explained new menu, delivery charge despite over £20 should be free, and chutney and pickle charge....not ordered. So when ordering delivery make sure bill is correct.

Superb takeaway. One of the best Indian meals I've had in years. Slightly dearer than some but you get what you pay for. First class quality food, good delivery time and polite service!
