The
hardest,
most
challenging
50
minutes
of
my
life,
exercise-wise.
After
finding
out
that
this
[solidcore]
was
finally
on
ClassPass,
I
booked
my
first
class
and
I've
been
going
back
weekly.
I'm
not
going
to
sugarcoat
it
-
[solidcore]
is
not
an
easy
workout.
Your
entire
body
aches,
sweats,
and
shakes
throughout
and
after
class.
But
the
instructors
are
so
motivating
and
your
mind
wants
to
go
further,
so
you
push
yourself.
And
even
if
you
go
to
the
same
instructor
week
after
week,
the
moves
per
session
vary.
Thus
while
there
is
routine
(most
moves
are
built
upon
planks,
squats,
or
lunges),
there
is
also
tons
of
variation
every
class
which
is
what
I
personally
prefer.
It
never,
ever
gets
boring
here.
I
call
[solidcore]
pilates
on
steroids.
You
work
on
these
megaformer
machines
called
[sweatlana],
and
your
movements
are
slow
and
controlled.
Trying
to
control
yourself
to
slow
down
is
probably
the
hardest
part
about
[solidcore],
but
this
is
the
way
to
ensure
a
toned,
low-impact
workout.
Classes
are
small
with
a
maximum
of
14
machines
so
it
is
akin
to
having
a
personal
trainer
go
through
a
tailored
sequence
of
moves
that
are
most
effective
for
you.
I'm
just
on
the
beginner
workouts
right
now,
and
I've
taken
classes
with
both
Abby
and
Ivana.
They
are
both
fantastic
and
highly
recommended.
The
classes
are
a
bit
pricey,
but
they
do
have
a
great
introductory
offer
for
new
clients.
Parking
here
is
a
breeze;
there's
both
street
parking
and
free
garage
parking.
The
facility
is
also
fairly
new.
If
it's
good
enough
for
Michelle
Obama,
it's
good
enough
for
you.
Come
join
the
[solidcore]
club!
