Awful experience in every dimension. The bagels themselves were mediocre, tiny, and quite expensive. In terms of service, the bagels took over 15 minutes to come out, despite virtually no one being there. I should have known something was up when they had no customers on a Sunday morning. I ordered a bagel without cheese for my lactose intolerant friend, and they added it anyways. A bit underwhelmed. While tasting great, the proportions were off. The bagels are very small in size and they do not skimp on toppings. Combining a small bagel and overwhelming amount of toppings meant I felt like I ate more of a salad than a bagel sandwich. So if we go back, we will probably stick with just bagels and cream cheese, and skip the toppings.

Very fresh and tasty bagels, bagel sandwiches and other desserts. Pricing is reasonable, staff is friendly, service is fairly quick. I'm glad to see a bagel shop in Del Ray!

Overall rating 10/10. Pros: I have to say that these are the best bagels ever. They are perfectly sized, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Obviously copious cream cheese is necessary. Wouldn’t you want too much than too little?? Cons: I took a moment to think of a con, and honestly this place is great and I can’t think of one. Give me all the bagels 🥳 Recommendation for the consumer- order online if going on a weekend Lastly: would I go back? Absolutely. Would I get the same thing: yes.

Always on a quest to try all the BEC bagel sammies out there and this one did not disappoint. It was a bit smaller than expected, which wasn't a bad thing as it did fill me up without feeling overly full. I do think it might be ever so slightly overpriced for the size though. Ingredients were perfect- bacon cooked slightly crispy and plentiful, melty American cheese and a perfectly cooked egg that was slightly runny but not runny enough to make a crazy mess in your hand. The bagel itself was chewy and on the denser side - which was perfect for me. Just a side note to the owners - when ordering online it does state the egg is runny and if you want to change that make a note - but there is nowhere to actually make a note or change the egg preference. Glad I didn't though because I thought the egg was actually perfect!

Good bagels! Can be a bit pricey, but you feel like you are getting your money's worth. I had an everything bagel with salmon cream cheese and a plain bagel with cinnamon cream cheese. It was like having a full lunch. Staff was friendly and efficient. Even though there was a Sunday morning line out the door, and the store is tiny, we moved quickly, and there are plenty of tables outside away from the street. Easily could be a place you return to often.

I went to a bagel uprising this morning for the second time. One of my coworkers got it for my team. We did a carry out order. I ended up getting the salmon egg and avocado sandwich on a plain bagel. I’m going to be 100% honest I was surprised of the size of the sandwich. It was smaller than I expected. That being said it was still a very delicious sandwich. The picture doesn’t show how much avocados it was because it’s all in the back but there was a fair share of each ingredient. I was afraid that the lemon in the description of the sandwich would overpower the avocado but it did not. The sandwich was about $10. I think it was work it for the quality of food.

I recently had bagels from Bagel Uprising and was blown away by the delicious everything and cinnamon bagels! The texture was perfect - chewy and satisfying - and the flavor was spot on. I especially loved the cinnamon bagels, which had just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, a top-notch bagel shop that I'll definitely be returning to."

Stopped in here randomly one day when I saw the colorful mural on the side of the building as I was walking by… because I legit can’t resist a bagel. It’s the perfect little no-frills counter, the employee who served me was super pleasant, and hands-down had one of the best bagels I’ve ever eaten. Texture and flavor were amazing. I had a special fig cream cheese spread that was bomb. Can’t wait to stop in more frequently since I just moved nearby.

First of all, the best everything bagels around - and everything else I've ever gotten here is great! But beyond the food, I'm so impressed with their over-the-top customer service! I had a slight issue with an order that was delivered, and they went completely out of their way to fix it right away instead of leaving me in a lurch to handle it through the delivery service. Love this place!

Honestly, a really solid bagel place. This might sound weird but, sometimes, having too much bagel is not a good thing and these people know how to make a good sized bagel. Highly recommend cinnamon with Nutella if you have a sweet tooth. On the contrary, I think their version of the “lox” bagel could actually use a little less toppings or to ensure the bagel could be ever so slightly bigger, just because it would reduce the mess and allow for a cleaner eating experience. Regardless though, the portion sizes, prices, and customer service are great and I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Loved these bagels. Just the right degree of chew, and the toppings on the Everything were really tasty. The whipped cream cheeses were great too, especially the Dill. Didn't try a sandwich but will next time. Great neighborhood asset.

Finally the bagel shop I've been looking for! Bagels are fresh, perfect texture and great seasoning. Cream cheese is fresh. I added some veggie toppings and they are all high quality. Husband loves the egg & cheese. So happy to have found this neighborhood gem!
