    Started with Emily at Platoon after rehabbing an injury - I wanted to increase strength and mobility to help avoid future issues. My once a week sessions were going so well I recently upped it to twice/week and have had great results. Emily is awesome at setting up workouts and explaining what each part is going to do, with the added bonus of super clear instructions for what to do at home to lock on and increase progress.

    I have had just two sessions with Danny at Cynwyd and some helpful conversations with Todd. I already think working with Platoon Fitness was one of my best decisions since I retired 18 months ago. Danny has taught me a great deal in a short time and my workouts and preparation are improving fast.

    High-level personal training gym. Focuses on proper technique, achieving specific goals, and general wellness. Instructors are too-notch. Eli is fantastic. I’ve been bringing my teen son with me and Eli has motivated him to work harder than he has at anything prior.

    I've been training with Platoon trainers for about 3.5 years. I was 61 years old when I started, with zero experience in fitness training. My goals were to get stronger, increase mobility and basically counteract the effects of aging. My trainers have guided me every step of the way. I am stronger than I have ever been, have more energy and feel great. Everyone at Platoon is friendly and supportive and will work with you to define and meet your goals. If you are ready to make the commitment to working with a trainer, Platoon is your best option!

    Stephon at Platoon was awesome! He’s very knowledgeable about working with knee injuries and has had extensive personal experience as a competitive athlete having his own injuries. The exercises were well planned. The gym is clean and very well designed. Modern, clean equipment. Would very highly recommend.

    I have had a phenomenal experience with Platoon. I reached out to Todd, the owner, in June 2022, and told him about myself and my fitness goals. He connected me with Emily who has been absolutely amazing. She is incredibly knowledgeable. At first, I was training to prepare for surgery, but after I recovered, I went back because I enjoyed working out with Emily so much. I was just training for general fitness, and most recently I started to prepare for tennis season. As I kept changing my goals, Emily was able to create programs that met my needs. Also, during workouts, she is so much fun to talk to! I work out with Emily most of the time, but I have also trained with Sam and Scott who were great. Todd and everyone there have created a space that has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. I strongly recommend going to Platoon for whatever your fitness goals are.

    Platoon has been game changing in both learning new fitness techniques and creative exercise regiments. Each day is a new workout plan. The staff are extremely friendly, flexible, positive, and motivating. In particular, there are not enough superlatives to describe Emily who is amazing and a breath of sunshine! Emily is a super positive and talented trainer. She has an amazing personality and is highly knowledgeable and coordinated —in planning and executing a well balanced workout in all 3 key areas of upper/lower/core. She makes working out both challenging and fun! I’ve worked in groups mostly under Emily and Sam . Cant go wrong with either trainer. They are both in great shape and know how to get the best results for their customers in the pursuit of optimizing good health.

    I have been coming here for over a year, working primarily with Sam and Emily, but have also had exposure to the other trainers. I feel they really listen to your goals (and also understand any ongoing physical limitations that I might have on a given day) and they are able customize a training plan. I’ve improved my balance and strength through consistent workouts. Seeing results!

    I originally signed up to get "in shape" for my daughter's wedding. I've trained at other places before, but this is by far the best fitness experience I've had. I train once or twice a week with Emily in Bryn Mawr. She is funny, personable and knowledgeable about her job. I've noticed that I have more stamina and much better range of motion than I had when I started. One more thing: the other staff members are awesome, too. They even sent my wife and me flowers on our anniversary. Above and beyond!

    The Platoon team is committed, professional, reliable and extremely knowledgeable! From the very first call with Todd inquiring about personal training in my home … he was immediately on my personal journey team! He made it happen and never gave up on getting me scheduled in the midst of a very busy schedule as a mom and executive. After the text when he sent “just start with tomorrow and commit to tomorrow). That was it. He then booked me with an expert personal trainer (Max H) who was willing to train me at 5:30 am since my time isn’t my own after 6:30. Max uses every minute of our time together to help me reach my personal fitness goals. He is thorough, focused, and committed to me and my journey to get stronger and healthier. Fitness, strength, nutrition and consistency. Plus holding me accountable. I am truly grateful. In week 3 of training 3 days a wk and I love it and feel a difference. Thank you sincerely Max and Todd.
