Beautiful and inviting space. The staff is absolutely amazing! Sonya, Sorelle, and Juan are extremely knowledgeable in skin care and provided customized recommendations on treatment options and products to use for my skin. My skin glowed when I left! I will definitely visit again!

The staff at Peel Haus are amazing! Very patient and listened to all of my concerns closely and answered all questions. They gave me a skin analysis and offered a treatment that brightened & smoothed out my skin! I had the pleasure of receiving services at Peel Haus earlier this month. It is always my preference to support a black owned business but when I can support a group of beautiful sistas, I jumped at the opportunity! First, I just wanna say that I don’t know how many black owned businesses there are in Capitol Hill (I’m from Brooklyn, NYC), but I get the feeling that most are not center stage like this practice is. I could see the Capitol building from the front door!! Once inside, the decor, the smell, the staff…EVERYTHING was great! Juan started me off with a skin analysis using a very fancy machine that told me way more about my skin than I think I wanted to know lol. We even talked about products that I could purchase. What I appreciated most was that I didn’t feel pressured to purchase but was provided with really thorough information about what each product did and why it would work well with my skin. Afterwards, Sonya called me in to her treatment room and I had my very first chemical peel. I must admit, I was NERVOUS! Sweating bullets, honestly lol, but I really credit Sonya for taking the time to walk me through each and every step of the process as well as what to expect in the days to follow. She answered all my questions with patience and understanding and I never once felt judged or silly. This is especially important to me as I have had the unfortunate experience of working with those of us who left me feeling intimidated, insecure, and inferior. This was the total opposite of that! I’m really happy to have had the privilege of experiencing Peel Haus during my visit. It’s weeks later and my skin is still radiant and I am IN LOVE with the results I’m seeing from the products I purchased. I know it’s impractical to say that Peel Haus will exclusively be my go to for my skin care as we are separated by many states. Ours will have to be a long distance relationship, but I am so happy to have them in my Rolodex and can’t wait to share them with all my friends and family!

This was the first facial that I had in a while. Sonya was welcoming, thoughtful, gentle, and thorough. What I most appreciated was that she used her fingers instead of a tool for the extractions.. I left with no bruises, and there were a lot of extractions. My skin looks and feels wonderful, I will definitely be back.

I had an amazing experience at Peel Haus this week! I went in for a consultation and came away with far more than I expected— starting with the skin assessment! I was not anticipating such an in-depth analysis but it was super interesting and I learned more about the current status of my skin. Sonya answered all of my questions and gave me several options to help me ultimately decide that I definitely wanted to move ahead with microneedling. I came back today for my microneedling appointment and had a terrific experience! Sonya explained the procedure very clearly so I knew what to expect during and after. After care was also very clearly explained. The gentleman at the front desk also double checked to make sure I had everything I needed before leaving afterwards! Could not have gone better! The space is beautifully designed as well. I will definitely be returning!

I initially received my skin assessment consultation with Sorelle at my first visit, during which time she showed exceptional attention to my unique needs and goals. That allowed her to make specific recommendations tailored just for me that I can scale up over time, based on my priorities and financial ability. She and Sonya then worked collaboratively to recommend skin care products for me and help to schedule follow-up visits for skin care treatments. The hands on care I have received from both Sorelle and Sonya has been kind, supportive, and nothing short of expert. In addition, the scheduling and support staff at Peel Haus are top notch-- attentive, warm, and incredibly professional. The facility itself is fresh, inviting and impeccably kept.
