Very disappointed. The hostess taking the to go orders seemed annoyed w/ my menu questions. The food was almost cold and very little portions for the price. Flavor was just mediocre. Definitely would not return!

We ordered the meatballs as an app, and they were good served with slices of bread to dip into the sauce. We got the goat cheese and mushroom pizza and a arugula type of pizza. Both were really good and crispy. I like goat cheese but I'm not sure I like it on pizza due to its sweet flavor, but this was ok. If you like it this may be a good pie for you. They have some outdoor street side seating which is nice on a cool night like we came on.

Very tasty! The pizza we ordered was a 10/10! I had pepperoni pizza and my partner got sausage. We both enjoyed our meals. I did not love the garlic knots though so I would avoid those. The service was good and our server was polite and attentive. I also ordered a cocktail, a hibiscus drink that was decent but a little too sweet.

Wow! Fantastic pizza! Great crust, with a fresh/bright sauce, and excellent mozzarella cheese — everything was just done perfectly! Friendly staff and great location; overall, really impressed! I would definitely recommend RedRocks to others and will plan to visit again, when in Alexandria. 👍🏻

The food was good but the service was lackluster. I had to flag down other employees to get access to my waiter. He literally took our order & did not come back unless someone told him to. The food was good, reasonable, and plentiful/filling. We order bottle service but my parent did not drink so I took it home with me lol. We ate brunch which took awhile to recieve but was worth the wait. I will return.

Went for lunch. Most places have the waitress/waiter serve the first slice. Someone else brought the pizza and we had to cut it again and try to serve ourselves. When we complained about the pizza not being cut so we can get to it easily sthe waitress giggled. Saving G grace...a waiter named Herman took over when the waitress left and didn't even tell us she was going home. He was much friendlier! Thank goodness for the good pizza too!

Best pizza in town. Since I came back from Italy, I was a little picky about where to go for good pizza again until I found this one. Try it and you will love it!

It was okay. I had a good time. The meal was quick and the pizza was okay. The old fashioned I had was decent. The family enjoyed themselves.

Redrocks pizza in old town Alexandria, VA is the place to stop for lunch or dinner. They have Neapolitan style, New York style, and Detroit style pizza with appetizers, salads and pasta options. The 3 of us were craving pizza after a long day of touring Mt. Vernon. Redrocks didn't disappoint! We each ordered a different pizza then shared. We had the Burrata - caramelized onion, gruyere, Burrata, arugula, olive oil. Margherita-tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil. Pepperoni-tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni. We couldn't decide which was the favorite as they all offered something different. All delicious, all we would order again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed

I took my 11 year old son out for his birthday dinner, and he had a great time. The pizza was excellent, with crispy, bubbly, chewy crust, yummy sauce, and toppings that tasted great. We got a white pizza, pepperoni and cheese pizzas, and a spicy sausage specialty pizza with extra toppings that was fantastic. Their beer list is also solid. The food came out quickly, the waiter was attentive, and the staff were very tolerant of the 11 year old boys that got a bit noisy. They did charge a separate fee to allow us to bring in our own cake, but it wasn’t steep, and the waiter provided us with a candle and matches, since I had forgotten them!

Came here super excited about New York style pizza and let’s just say it was a flop. The sauce was entirely too wet on all 3 pizzas we ordered which not only left the pizza soggy right after ordering but all the toppings slid off the second you picked it up. That was for all 3 pizzas. I had to eat my pizza with a fork. The waitress was nice and over all service was ok, but the restaurant itself is in need of repair. Half the floor is missing which they just threw a rug over and in the booth we sat in - it’s peeling and got on my clothes. Giving it 2 stars because of the service and price although I’d rather have ordered from a local chain. I wouldn’t recommend.

Good service, friendly, but the food was not that good. Been here a couple of times. Probably won’t return. Ordered a half Caesar salad, it was all right. The buffalo mozzarella was good. The pizza was overpriced and blistered, so much so that we almost sent it back. Meatballs had a weird taste to them. Disappointing.

The experience was okay. Nothing too spectacular. The wings we ordered were a bit too charred. The three pizzas we ordered were okay.

This place may have gotten 2 stars if it wasn’t for their bartender. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the host who directed us to our seats on the patio. We came in for happy hour but was told that it was only at the bar so we moved. That was fine. The issue began with the rude service we received from the bartender. We weren’t greeted at all and we’re basically treated like an inconvenience. She just slapped two menus on the counter and that was it. We had to ask her for the happy hour menu. We asked her about their “well” drinks since we were unfamiliar with that term. The bartender, seeming to be annoyed by the question, explained it as just any drink with bottom shelf liquor. Okay cool that’s fine so we proceed to order margaritas. However, she then let’s us know that those wouldn’t be considered happy hour price, we only get liquor with one mixer. After doing some research of our own we learned that that’s not the actually definition of a “well” drink. The food came out at a decent time and was okay, it’s just unfortunate that their bartender had to ruin the whole vibe. We will not be returning.

Everything was fantastic. Seats available for people watching on King St. or the fiery pizza oven; we did the later. Meatballs were juicy and tender. The pizzas are a good size to split and their arrival was perfectly timed after our appetizers. They still have the garlic knots from another reviewer’s picture even if they aren’t on the menu.

Great pizza in an awesome little restaurant. Loved the atmosphere, great selection of wine, and of course the pizza. I can't wait to return on future visits to the area.

Personally I am fan of bready pizza. Red rocks checked all the boxes. The Artichoke pizza had a surprising amount of topping with a lovely yeasty charred crust. Aperol spritz was also delicious. Great atmosphere and quick service

I’ve had good pizza from here and then there are nights like tonight. This is pepperoni with half mushroom and olives. The ingredients were correct. The biggest problem is the cheese and the ingredients slid right off the pizza when picked up. I tried to call and inform them of the problem: received minimal acknowledgement.
