"Freaking delightful" is the best way to describe this place. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff make some pretty impressive cheese boards. The shop itself has a great selection of cheeses to take home too. Will be back!

Not what is used to be. I was regular at Cheesetique for close to 10 years. It, of course, has changed over the years but in the past 2 years it has really changed and not for the better. The staff are all new and not near as knowledgeable. Since they have expanded they have lost all their ambience. Sitting at the bar was not comfortable at all. The wine list is smaller and the cheese list is much smaller. I find the cheese plate to be very disappointing, especially considering how expensive it is. The retail side is still fine but it, also, is not what it used to be. I was very sad to see that a place that I used to spend so much time and money at now holds no appeal to me.

I recently went to Cheesetique to pick up dinner for me and my wife on a Friday night in. She got the French onion soup with a side of mac & cheese. I got the cheesecake with a side of mac & cheese. Total was about $47 for pick up. Personally, I don’t think the quantity of food was worth the amount but the food was good. My wife loved the French onion soup. When picking up the food, I noticed that they had a very wide selection of alcohol and different cheeses. Overall a good experience.

A Del Ray gem. I can’t decide which I like more.. The “grown up grilled cheese” or the “pimento grilled cheese”...can’t go wrong either way. Pair it with one of their recommended wines and you automatically feel like you’ve won. A really cozy and fun place to spend time, plus there is a little shop with cheese and other sundries you can take home. AND don’t miss the raclette sandwiches in the winter!

As usual a delightful relaxing meal, service and wine. Colm made us the most beautiful charcuterie board it looked like a florist arrangement. I have never seen a meat and cheese presentation looking as thoughtfully done as this. Is there a competition? Kudos to all at this joint they never disappoint.

Tried this place out for restaurant week. The lasagna was great, but my wife got the gnocchi and it was served cold and we asked for water 4 times and finally got it. There was one waitress taking orders outside and it was a lot of tables for one person to handle so requests don’t fall through the cracks.

We had such a great time!!! The food was SO good. But the service was the best part! Kathryn was so sweet and so helpful. We will deff make the 2 hour drive just to come here again! That should tell you how great an experience it was :) also loved the kids cup and coloring book! Made us feel like it was very kid friendly

Overall a fine experience. Have only visited twice so far. Food and variety are both good, given you like cheese. 1st time, I was given the wrong sandwich but they replaced it with the correct one for free. Service is okay. The host kind of sat there on his phone looking down the whole time so wouldn't notice customers unless they were right in front of him. The table waiting experience was just a little slow to my expectation. Restaurant otherwise was nice, friendly, fun, and clean. There's an outside area that's great during nice days.

This place has a nice and friendly atmosphere and an attentive staff. The menu is fantastic. They offer a variety of wines and a full bar. The food menu ranges from charcuterie to main dishes, with wine pairing suggestions on each. They have kids menus as well (though I didn’t see that). The shop in the same building features a good selection of wines as well as wine & cheese (of course) accessories. There’s also a deli counter. I’ll be back.

The Chesapeake Crab Mac was delicious, the Fried Cheese Curds were a hit, and Don provided fantastic service. We will be coming back soon!

Worth every penny. Had surgery recently but because of the holidays had friends passing through. Couldn't cook so decided on ordering from Cheesetique. Everything was perfection, from the packaging to the food itself. They have created a consistent well made product that you can be proud to serve in any occasion. You won't be disappointed

Always the best, the summer Italian wine flight was sooooo good. Brunch was awesome, shared a cheese and charcuterie board and each had a grilled cheese. 10/10 love this place and I always look forward to coming back. The wine, cheese shop they have is also one of my favs. Great selection and they have my favourite butter as well! Give it a shot, definitely come when the racelette fest is happening too. - IG: @SpicyAivy

I joked with them that I was going to move in because it was that awesome. Service was great, food was incredible. This is one of my new favorites!

Food is always good. Beer game is never good. Few choices is understandable (wine and cheese), but old beer shouldn’t be served. Also, this third time we have visited this location over the past 6 years and every time the entree has been served before the appetizer. No big deal, but weird.

This was a great find that we never expected to visit! We had originally planned to go elsewhere but it was too full so we ended up here and I'm so glad we did! The back room is intimate and a beautiful space. Everything we ordered was delicious and we can't wait to go back and try the rest of it. Extensive wine selection!

Sadly, I do not recommend. I stopped in today after having heard friends rave about this place for years. After having tried it, I can’t figure out why. Let’s start with the food. I ordered a cheese plate. Despite the $22 price tag, each one of my four cheese/meat selections was about the size of a quarter. And very “meh.” The filler items on the plate were fine, but nothing special. (With the exception of the tiny dollop of pimento cheese, which was legitimately good). I’ve had better cheese plates at… well, honestly, most places where I have ever ordered a cheese plate. And those places don’t claim to specialize in cheese. The service was disinterested at best. Despite the restaurant not being very crowded, it took about 10 minutes for anyone to come by to take my order. It then took a bizarrely long time for my cheese plate to arrive - especially considering that it’s a cold item and most likely one of their most regularly prepared. I watched as other orders that were placed after mine, and involved more prep, came out before the cheese plate. Has this place gone downhill? My experience - and the other recent reviews, which I probably should have read before I decided to eat here - seems to indicate it has.

The service was slow at first, seems like new hires, but all the servers were friendly and got our order right. The sparkling wine and rose selection was fabulous! The reds and ports section was less than desired, especially for a speciality place. The food was delicious! The cheese selection was better to buy to go home, than to dine in which was puzzling.
