I love love LOVE this place! To be transparent - I am not vegan but it does not matter at all - the food is always fresh, delicious and creative. I have tried nearly every dish on the menu and cocktails and particularly am in awe of the crab cakes and sliders. Staff are a delight and I am so glad they remember my name now when I pop in. The wines are great selections as well 👍 And the events! Thank you - thank you - THANK YOU for debuting drag performances in Crozet! Absolutely have a blast at these and look forward to more. First time at Bar Botanical. Fabulous renovation with a great outdoor patio area. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Food and drinks wonderful! We had the lentil tacos, wonton nachos and Caesar salad all tasty and colorful. The Casablanca cocktail was just ok, but the Juicebox was excellent! Will definitely come back!

We drove from Lake Anna to try this since we love their Charlottesville location. The food was incredible (no surprise). My sister used to have crab cakes all the time before going vegan and said that these were as close to the real thing as you can get. I enjoyed the sliders. We love that they are bringing in people from outside the vegan community! It goes to show how delicious plant-based food can be when made right. The building is set up a bit strange so the restaurant isn’t the easiest to find. It’s also not a proper “sit down” experience - first come, first serve seating and you have to order through the Toast app/website on your phone (no servers). Highlight: The view of the mountains… insanely beautiful!

My family and I have absolutely enjoyed the food here! The vegan nachos are incredible, as are the loaded hash browns. We have enjoyed a meal here, both dining in and ordering and taking home. Both options were delicious

Ryan is a terrific cook, and the setting could not be more beautiful on top of the building in Central Crozet with a view of the mountains. Delicious, vegan food that even non-vegans will be salivating over. We had a wonderful experience the two times we have been.

Food is amazing- and was with a meat eating crowd who liked vegan and views awesome. The only issue is lack of menu and service- The food came out quickly but no follow up, we had to order at bar, pay at bar due to dead phone. Encourage your staff to ck in with folks more- (rather than chat at bar with other staff). We felt there was delivery but no other service. Diners should be aware its more of a self serve concept rather than full service place at least that’s what we experienced.

What a great addition to Crozet! I'm a vegan, but I guarantee non-vegans will find the dining experience pretty incredible. We had the sliders, crab cakes and Cesar salad. All were top notch. One little complaint and this may be peculiar to me but I prefer talking to a person. Botanical, like so many restaurants has QR code ordering. I'm not a fan, but I understand it helps in this time of constant challenges of getting and keeping employees. The staff I interacted with were great. To review: cool spot, great views, incredible food.... Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the Botanical restaurant in Charlottesville so I had to come here as well! I haven't had a slider since I went vegan and they were delicious. I do wish there were more dessert options (the sugar cookies at their main restaurant are amazing).
