Potomac River Waterfront Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 We walked the trail beginning at National Harbor, skirted the little bay and up the circular path to the pedestrian/bike bridge going over I-495 beltway. What a beautifully maintained trail. Walking along the water is so soothing. The landscaping is so well done. All kinds of trees and shrubs. Annua... People often mention trail, views, bridge, National, Harbor, walk,

Took a run while traveling and this trail was a great out and back to National Harbor. Went over the Eisenhower Bridge and boarded the Potomac. Had a great view of the setting sun.

Perfect paved path for running, walking, cycling. Dogs welcome. Great views, wild life. You may get lucky and see an eagle flying overhead. Seagulls are drawn to plastic bags so don’t bring plastic.

We walked the trail beginning at National Harbor, skirted the little bay and up the circular path to the pedestrian/bike bridge going over I-495 beltway. What a beautifully maintained trail. Walking along the water is so soothing. The landscaping is so well done. All kinds of trees and shrubs. Annuals and perennials. Lots of plant info and historical info on plaques along the way. The views are spectacular of National Harbor, Alexandria and Washington DC. (The traffic noise is not too bad on the Maryland side. ) Highly recommend this trail. Easy going. Great views. And explore National Harbor while you’re there. Lots of paid parking, restaurants and shops. Don’t forget to walk thru the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center.

Lots of walking and biking trails in the national harbor area. Trails to mgm casino, national harbor and Alexandria across the Woodrow Wilson bridge

Never fails, I go there after being told I have to stop because of Heath reasons, didn't even make it to the bridge physically, but the never failing scenery... But the the scenery, made the physical unnecessary

Safe to walk during daytime hours, evening & night time hours are not safe on the border of Prince George’s County. Walking the WW bridge on VA side has nice views & more comfortable

Great place walk and see the sunset or sunrise. Hidden gem in the DMV.

Loud from the cars, but the views are spectacular. You’re in for a long walk or a long bike ride if you decide to head here or cross the bridge.

Cool views of the Potomac and downtown DC in the distance. Be sure to bring hearing protection because the Woodrow Wilson Bridge trail is loud, The trail is adjacent to the roadway.

It’s a nice trail. It’s cute and just very well put together. Highly recommend.

The Potomac River Waterfront Park is nothing to write home about. Really a glorified overpass dressed up with dirt and bushes by the National Harbor Developer, it does help one get to National Harbor from Alexandria, Virginia. The inclines and declines are very practical and anyone with any health or physical fitness level.

If you have never been to the Potomac river waterfront it is a must see. The trail walk is calming and peaceful. If you are feeling more adventurous the Wilson bridge can provide a thrill to any thrill seekers. Give it a try.
