50% food court / 50% shops & services. While I wouldn’t consider this a shopping destination, the large number of restaurants made it a great place to get out of the elements and grab a bite to eat. This facility is very attractive, clean, and convenient adjacent to the Metro (public transport).

I stayed at the Hilton Hotel at L'enfant Plaza. Very modern area with a metro station and subterranean mall and food hall. The International Spy Museum is out front as is the open topped tourist bus. It's also a great location to see the city by foot, if you enjoy walking.

A nexus with transportation, shopping, dinning and entertainment options. Plenty of things to do and see here as well as sidewalks to stroll around the area on. Plenty of parking options as well with easy access to rail transportation from here as well as the mall and other museums and attractions.

The hardest Metro station to enter or exit. You will feel like you're in the final level of the world's most challenging escape room. And no two times of day are the same puzzle solution, doors will lock and unlock, escalators will close, it's not for the faint of heart.

Our resort was in that area and I walked around looking for a place to get breakfast but my choices were very limited and pricey. They did have an area dedicated to our military with statues and flags which I liked very much. I found a Savannah Candy Kitchen store there. Pecan pralines are yummy.

This shopping mall sits a couple of blocks from the national mall. It features a host of shops, restaurants, a post office, major hotel, barber shops, nail salons, and the Spy Museum. The restaurants, focuses toward fast food, and really more toward the lunch crowd. It’s probably one of the cheaper places you will find to eat in DC. Many of the restaurants close for dinner, leaving only a couple open in the 6PM range. There is paid parking here but it also sits atop the Blue, Green, Yellow, Silver, and Orange metro lines, as well as a major bus stop.

I visited the international Spy Museum. I went on a Sunday early in the morning, and parked on the street. This museum is perfect for family and friends even solo...there were a lot of interactive things to do...I love this place. I can't wait to take my family

Stopped by the International Spy Museum with my friend while we were in DC for a concert and decided to have lunch while we were there. The food court was underground and it was a pretty happening spot. We were there during the workweek and it seemed like a lot of the people in the area stopped by for lunch too.

This place has changed quite a bit in the last 5 years. It now houses the Spy Museum and is walkable to the Smithsonian and the Wharf.

Great place to visit honoring our country's bravest. The driving simulator was a lot of fun but be careful it can be disorienting. I was very impressed with the room honoring the offices that were killed in the line of duty. Seeing the pictures of them really brings home how dangerous the job is.

The Plaza itself was fine. It was very clean and the woman cleaning bathrooms was SUPER nice. Our food was very good, but several of the restaurants were closed. The garage on the other hand was a nightmare. My prepaid online ticket would not work and the lot supervisor belittled and mocked me over it.

Unfortunately it seems that the plaza, isn't quite what it was before the pandemic. A good number of the smaller stores have closed and more are closing (even CVS is gone now), and a number of the main places to ear have left as well. Kind of a bummer if you work in the area, if you're a tourist it's still the closest place to eat near the spy museum besides the food trucks, but you'll get better bathrooms and a place to sit.

Too many people, lines for everything, but still worth seeing, the Spy Museum was entertaining and like other Washington institutions, bubbling over with information. We saw about half that museum and about a third of the Holocaust Museum. Perhaps we tried to do too much in one trip. These formidable institutions fortunately have survived the last five years intact. I guess the previous guy didn't care for carefully researched and phenomenally presented historical facts...

Stayed at the Hilton in this plaza and it was lovely! The hotel was clean and very modern .The staff was very courteous and helpful. GREAT STAY!!! It was so convenient to travel DC by foot. There were options available for tired feet....tour bus, scooters and bicycles. We had such a wonderful visit to DC. We are planning to return to this hotel in the future to continue our exploration of Washington D.C. .so many places to visit and so little time. Fabulous hotel 🏨🛍️!!!

The place is clean and has good security. A couple of the shops have close or will be closing over the next few months. It has a massive connector station where 5 of the metro rail lines converge, and if it's raining, there's plenty of options to catch a bite to eat. Walking distance to museums and the warf.

Really convenient location for metro and shopping! The mall underneath the plaza isn't great, but like I said the other mall close by is better! Would recommend this area for travellers staying in the hotel, or an easy place to catch the metro. The museums are awesome!

The Spy Museum was a blast, the kids had fun being on their mission but I think I enjoyed it more. Mission Impossible movies prepared me to be ready for the unexpected. Definitely a fun visit!

I find this place a bit odd in that a lot of the restaurants close right as the local businesses close. It seems that no one hangs around for dinner down here. There are several stores that are going out of business. There looks like several restaurants may actually be amongst the stores closing, although I did not confirm this. There was not a lot of traffic here when I stopped by. I do wonder what the lunch time traffic looks like. And it's not every shopping area that has a spy museum upstairs.

Don't prepay for parking. Just get a ticket when you get there and pay as you leave. Scanned my prepaid ticket and machine came back with unrecognized ticket. Ended up paying double for parking....otherwise nice parking garage. Closes at 10 PM on Saturdays....

A fun and relaxing place to visit 😊 Lots of museums, restaurants, and shops in the area. There is parking on the street or in the power level parking garage.

Great place to stop and catch a meal. Also a good location to have the tour bus pick up a group. Good selection of food and an excellent coffee stop. Clean bathrooms. A bit quiet on a Saturday, many shops closed, but during the week a good choice.

It is very easy to get to via Metro. Food choices are limited and expensive. I should have followed my instinct and went to Subway as the food at the other choice (Chinese) was not very good, and customer service was frightful. Loved the International Spy Museum.

It's the perfect place to stay. You can walk to all the museums.

We went on the weekend and most of the shops were closed. I don't feel I cam give it a fair review becuse of that. Even so the place was clean and cool. We did get food there after visiting the International Spy Museum next door. It was good.

This is a great food court for groups. However, they need to monitor the number of people they allow in. I had my group in midweek. They had 90 minutes to eat. When we left, some students were still in line, waiting to order. Utter chaos.

An open mall to do all kinds of shopping. We went there to buy coffee from Starbucks but ended up visiting the GAP, H&M and different other stores. Nike and some other stores have factory outlets over here and during our visit to VA, we witnessed Memorial Day sales so that was another advantage. The mall is at an excellent location right opposite to the famous aquarium and has plenty of shopping and eateries in and around. We also really linked the huge multiplex theater which in on the first floor. The washrooms are also very clean and hygienic. We were told this is one of the biggest H&Ms and one of the first ones to get massive discounts and new stock. It was very easier to call a cab to pick us up and we did not have to walk much. Kids enjoy the place too as there is plenty of safe space to play around.

Great place to catch lunch if you work close by. Convenient if you stay at the Hilton. Lots of food options.

  • 3/5 Dixie F. 1 year ago on Google
While the plaza is beautiful there aren't a ton of options for food and due to the large number of people coming here lines to order are very long. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you're on a time restraint. Outside of the lines to wait to order and the minimal options of restaurants to choose from every part of this plaza was clean and well kept.

This has food court inside, so many options to choose from. A nice place where I got my favorite foods. my family split up and good foods from different stores all to their likes, so loved it. Has amole parking on the road sides, it is next to spy museum. We had to board a bus nearby so ended having food here. Liked the food , would go here again.

Stopped in for food because we didn't buy tickets in advance to the Spy museum was sold out bummer and my bad. So took the metro all the way over for nothing. We were hungry, so I stopped and got a Charlie's Philly chicken and beef sandwich. It was expensive for 2 large meals $48 but delicious 😋

Decent restaurant selection for a quick bite at lunch, but it can get really busy. Of the restaurants I've tried since going, the only one I won't go to again is California Tortilla. The rest have been pretty good.

We headed through the plaza on a Sunday afternoon so wasn't expecting loads of options but honestly it was stark even at 5pm. Sure there is a lot of options during peak times but for the volume of tourists and people around the area, it seemed like they have missed an opportunity for staying open until a bit later for many of the food stops and shops.

  • 4/5 Cass 1 year ago on Google
Food court was packed! But was able to get a lunch in a timely manner. I’d encourage you to not stop at the first place with a short line and explore all the options. I missed out going to a “southwestern” restaurant….meanwhile I’m from Arizona. And I could have got Pho, Ethiopian, or other Asian stylings if I just took the time to explore.

In this metro hub you can take a quick stop in to use a clean bathroom or grab a bite to eat as there is a decent size for court. A post office near the food court also let's you send of a package on your way home from work. A lot of the shops on site don't seem to keep regular hours though so even in the middle of the day there are a lot of shuttered doors

  • 4/5 Rhonda W. 2 years ago on Google
Nice and convenient parking garages within short walking distance of several Smithsonian museums. A few fast food restaurants are open on weekend in the food court. Public restrooms. Spy museum is located on the top level as well as a hotel Would recommend

We took the MARC Train to Washington DC and the Metro to our destination. This mall was where we ended up. Very clean, nice environment and most people were masked and social distancing. We were impressed.

  • 1/5 Amber W. 1 year ago on Google
Found that this building is not handicap (or stroller) accessible at all. We wandered around many times and struggled to get our stroller up and down stairs trying to get to the upper level. At 10 am I couldn't find anyone to ask for directions inside. I eventually found a teeny tiny sign by the men's bathroom that indicated there was an elevator, but even after finding the sign (not clearly labeled by even the most exaggerated description) it was still a long walk to the elevator. Not at all friendly to those who can't use stairs, as they have to walk 10x farther to get to the elevator, which seems to defeat the purpose...

Really fun time learning and playing. More than I expected from a spy museum with interactive content and unique missions for each player to reinforce content. The facility is top notch. Plenty of restrooms and seats throughout if you need a break. They have a coat closet area for storing coats and free lockers first-come first-serve for bags and purses. The gift shop at the end is big with lots of interesting items from trinkets and keychains to books and games. It's clear they wanted to make this an amazing experience. Mission Accomplished!
