Great Mother F#@$%% Burger! Did the build your own burger, 1/3 all beef patty, brioche bun, fried jalapeños, red onion, dill pickles, ghost pepper cheese, gouda cheese, bacon jam honey mustard, boubon glaze, spicy ketchup, mustard, mayo and topped it off with Applewood bacon. A side of warm sweet potato waffle fries (included this marshmello sauce) basically a sauce that had me jonesing for more. Seating can be limited wait out people to leave its worth it. Staff is friendly. Only complaint if sitting on inside the speakers in corners are so loud I can't hear the person next to me. I will be back.

It's not often you get to have "the best" of something, but in our recent visit to this burger place we had exactly that. My son and I have been visiting burger places and rating them.. looking for the best burger for us. He typically has just a cheeseburger with ketchup which is great as its easy to rate it against other places. We came to Holy Cow because it was close and was rated high and... HOLY COW! what a great burger. with couple bites, the burger was no question number one on our list. The patty was juicy but not greasy.. with lots of flavour.. the bun was warm but not burnt and just plain delicious. I had the Popper which is spectacular and I will try to copy the topping combination as it was absolutely delicious.. the fried jalapenos mixed with garlic ailoli and cream cheese was mouth watering... we also tried the Hot Mess and it was meal for sure.. great combination there as well. but just the cheeseburger with ketchup was enough to put it on the top of our list. The place itself is low key and I like the open kitchen that has nothing to hide. The service and staff was fantastic. Can't comment on anything else on the menu but the burgers are a must try. I will definitely make sure to come again if my travels take me through here again. Thanks for a great burger!!

This is one of our favorite burger places, and we come here regularly. The food is excellent, and the location in Del Ray had lots of other fun stores nearby. The burgers are great whether you build your own or select one of the menu options. Lots of creative flavors to choose from. We also love their sweet potato fries and milkshakes.

The perfect score from me for this place is 4.5 Stars but since we are unable to do that we're going to go with 4. Upon entering, Holy Cow looks pretty streamlined as far as service is concerned you have a couple of different options you can order from the pad in front and then take it up to the register and they will make your order there or you can go straight to a table and scan the QR code in order from the table. I would definitely say if you order drinks along with an appetizer of some sort make sure that you go to the counter to retrieve your drinks because to my knowledge they will be brought out together. We ordered the Korean bulgogi wings which had just the writers on a spice to it and they were cooked to perfection. For our burgers I ordered the big deal which was good but I felt like some flavor was missing but upon adding the Korean bulgogi sauce it was A+. My partner created her own Burger which came out very messy but in a good way. I ordered the 2/3 Patty which was more than enough filling and I was able to basically have an entire burger the next day. We will definitely be back to try the milkshakes and the various fries that they have it was a good experience overall.

Holy Cow! Literally one of the best burgers I’ve had. I got the quinoa veggie burger with fried pickles, jalapeños, tomatoes.. practically everything. The service was good and the staff was very nice! You can’t forget about the delicious fries!

The burger itself is ok. The gimmick toppings are what sets this burger place above most others. The bulgogi wings are worth a try, as well as the Hot Mess burger.

Wow what a milkshake, very vanilla is amazing. Sweet, great texture, good portion, not to much or too little. But you want more after. Max and cheese in your burger and sauce gives a great little kick. Sweet potatoes fries are well baked. A clear winner, teb out of ten. Rare from me.

Got a chance to stop by Holy Cow recently. I made an online order and picked it up. I’ll be honest (as always) I ordered the Hot Mess double stack and it was probably the best burger I’ve had up to date. Definitely a heavy hit. Their milkshakes are on point as well. You get good chunks or Oreos if you get the Oreo milkshake. Only issue I had was they forgot my fries and 2 out of the 4 sauces I order. The gave me a credit back though. Highly recommend their burgers.

Holy Cow! That was my thought while eating my Hangover burger. Thst was a BURGER and the fries were just such a good compliment (and they gave a whole cups worth too). I definitely recommend this place if you're in the DC metro area. It's worth a bus ride for sure.

The name, "Holy Cow" made it seem like I was going to have a "WoW!," moment. It clearly misses the mark. I took 1 bite of this burger & I knew that I would not be going back. I only ate a part of it because of the amount of money that was spent on it. Five Guys tastes better than this. Feeding my family of 3 in this establishment costs in excess of $71.00+ dollars. Every item is charged a la cart. I purchased 3 burgers, 3 fries, & 4 drinks. I bought an extra drink because the cups aren't that big. You'll finish your drink before you finish your food. My burger wasn't cooked all the way through. There was still some pink to be seen & I don't eat my burgers like that. Steak, yeah, I could eat a medium to medium well steak but not burgers. My preference for burgers is that they be cooked well done. The fries were extra greasy which made my stomach nauseous. I only ate a handful of the french fries. I tossed the rest in the trash which was a waste of money, however, I couldn't get past the fact that when you pick up a couple of fries, like most of us do, when you hold them to get ready to eat them, grease is dripping out of the fries. I can't eat that. 🤢🤢🤢 I'm feeling nauseous just thinking about that food. I give this restaurant 3 ⭐⭐⭐ Stars. It was okay but nothing to write home about. It's too pricey for a mediocre burger. Try it at your own risk.

Dining here for the first time, I was overall pleased with the experience. Menu variety is high, and the simple means to customize one's order is ideal. Alongside custom items, typical menu items are also available to select. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free options and vegetarian options are available, although the latter could benefit from even just one additional item as there is only one choice. Having eaten the quinoa veggie burger, I found it to be good-tasting, but it was quite messy as the patty is too soft and mushy. Also having a side of onion rings, I was impressed by their size but was incredibly disappointed by how thin the actual onion slices are. While the fried onion rings are large, it is overwhelmingly because of how much batter is used. Overall, the onion taste itself was diminished. The bathroom is clean, but two incredibly large horse flies were present during my visit.

Lets get one thing straight. The burger I had was awesome. It tastes like a "Murder Burger" the only thing was the price. Almost $30.00 for a Burger, fries and a bottle of water. Other than that, all is great.

If I could, this would definitely be closer to a 4.5 than the four stars I can put. The only knock in my mind is how pricy the food is, but it is Del Ray so what can you expect? Every burger I've gotten here was awesome. Always really juicy and full of flavor. Pretzel bun upgrade is very fun every once and awhile. Fries and tots? Get out of here. Very, very good sides available, and they taste great. Fun array of dipping sauces, my favorite of which are the garlic and old bay aioli's. I think the milkshakes are really good as well. The salted caramel is my favorite flavor so far. Like I mentioned though, the only knock is the price. I just think it is wrong that someone who wants a burger, fries (or those amazing tots), and a milkshake, will have to spend between $23-30, depending on the size of burger (not counting tip if you're into that sort of thing for takeout). The food is worth it though, from time to time. It's better, and has more variety, than Five Guys, but is more expensive, but not by much. Highly recommend.

The service was good. The burgers were good but greasy and salty. Its worth a visit.
