I was craving some lobster today and I decided to try out this restaurant. I really enjoyed the sandwiches; my favorite was the classic because it was served warm. The lobster mix was stuffed between the softest and crispiest buns! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was a little too pricy for the sandwich size. I’d recommend ordering 2 if you’re super hungry.

Love me a good lobster roll with some bisque. This place did not disappoint. A bit on the pricier side for what you get, but it satisfied. Great service. The atmosphere is a bit crowded at lunch. It is good to get the food to go and head over the waterfront to eat.

Delish is the word!! I got the Connecticut Roll which is classic lobster roll warmed!! The buttery, soft toasted roll and chopped chunks of lobster are mmm mmm good!! Their shrimp rolls are tasty too! The tater tots left a lot to be desired! They may not have been fresh! Other than that the employees were friendly, restaurant was clean and quiet and most importantly the lobster roll delish!

I'm from Florida and I've been here twice. The lobster rolls are phenomenal. You can't go wrong with the Classic or the Connecticut warmed up. Had to finish it off with a blueberry soda. Enjoy!

If you are in Maryland and you want the most amazing lobster roll, this place is a must. The roll was just excellent. I couldn’t believe how tender the lobster was and they gave us so much of it! This is a must eat- bucket list item if your in the area.

AMAZING!!!!! these rolls were so good we couldn’t get enough. The shrimp and lobster rolls were filled with meat and glazed with butter. The buns were grilled to perfection. Customer service was great! Overall good job you guys!

Salty, small, microwaveable. It’s a small busy place but the salt crystals on my lobster almost took me out. The Mac and cheese with lobster was watery and sad looking. The roll was fried but cold and so looked and tasted old. But location is everything. They are right down by the waterfront.

Love love love their lobster menu! The lobster rolls are perfect, the lobster Mac and cheese is so good. The service is awesome they are so nice and welcoming. I wish the sitting area was bigger or more tables on the outside since Chipotle costumers utilize the 2 tables that are outside the restaurant.

Only a few seats inside so we took it to go. The roll was small but filling. Big pieces of lobster inside! Tasty. The lobster bisque on the other hand, was a huge let down. I had high hopes, but it was runny and had no lobster pieces in it. You have to pay $4 extra for lobster pieces. Basic, good lobster bisque should have lobster pieces in it and then you can charge extra for more. I'd go back for a roll if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

This is my first time trying a lobster roll. The lobster was very meaty and seasoned well. The butter on the bread was great. Would come back again!

I ordered the classic lobster roll with coleslaw and a drink. I enjoyed the generous chunks of lobster, but the roll was cold which wasn't what I was expecting. The coleslaw was a condiment to-go container size. Also, there are no refills for the soft drinks because you'll get a can of soda. Interior was small and intimate with a few tables and a side bar area. Limited seating.

Masons original roll was average. Nice bread toasted with a good butter crisp. However, the seasononing on the roll over powered the lobster flavor. There is not a lot of meat on the sandwhich either. The side options stink, chips, soup or coleslaw only. A good french fry would be better. Panera puts more lobster on their roll and is less expensive.

The Connecticut roll was excellent and would definitely get it again. The classic lobster roll was ok and we prefer the Connecticut version but that is just our taste as the Connecticut one was hot and it was a cold day. The food was very good and I would recommend going here if you want a good sandwich at the harbor. There is not a lot of seating here, but if the weather permits, getting it to go and eating on the docks would be a very nice idea. Just watch out for seagulls or crows if you do.

I've visited Mason's several times and have always gotten the Connecticut Roll and enjoyed it. However, today, about 1-2 hours after eating my lobster roll for lunch, I became violently sick! The only thing that came up was the lobster roll. I purchased 2 lobster rolls, but after being uncontrollably sick after the first one, I threw the other one in the trash. It would be nice if I could get my $40 back for a meal that made me sick.

The Connecticut Roll is where it is at! The is the warm and buttered roll with warm lobster stuffed throughout. The portion size is generous and the wait time is small. This is a great snack or quick stop for lunch. We will be back on our next trip to National Harbor!

Just know this: 1 roll will most likely not be enough if you are truly hungry. But getting 2 means you are spending well over 40 dollars. I got the Connecticut Roll. It was real buttery, overpowering to be honest. I should’ve gotten the Classic Lobster Roll. I will try this one next time and hope it is better. The atmosphere was okay.

Pretty pricey $21 for the most basic lobster roll that doesn't even make up in the flavor. It is not going to fill you up at all which basically forces you to pay for another roll and have an over $45 dinner that could've been better well spent on proper steak or crab cakes meal. The buns had more taste than the lobster itself which was pretty disappointing. It felt like eating a rubbery stale meat that only really tasted half decent because of the bun and the lemon. Pretty small indoor area that easily runs out of seats. Only ate the entire roll because I was starving and the hefty price tag.

In town visiting for work and found this place online. I was excited to try it. This is a quick serve place with only 3-4 tables which was a bit disappointing but I still had high hopes for the food. I was really hoping to love this place but it was just ok. Got the classic lobster roll and the lobster bisque. The bisque had some shredded bits of lobster but no larger pieces, which wouldn't have bothered me if it wasn't lacking in flavor. The classic roll was just ok. Lobster seemed a bit over cooked. The bun was the most flavorful thing about it. The pickle that came with it was pretty mangled too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Decided to stop and get a lobster roll. Never had one before. The bread was soft and buttery just small. It was good. Would consider trying it again. Had it with the lobster bisque that is a good combination. Really enjoyed it.

I love Mason’s! I’ve been to this location many times over the years. They have fantastic rolls. The lobster has always been fresh and the service is fast. Definitely a must if you’re visiting National Harbor!

Good food and good location. The venue is small so seating is limited. Fortunately, I had dinner during the week and no one was there until I was ready to leave. Lobster roll and lobster bisque are tasty. They don't serve alcohol here.

Was down at the National Harbor and grabbed a quick lunch at Mason's. The lobster rolls were soooo good. We ordered the traditional Connecticut Lobster Roll and the BLT Lobster Roll. Both were delicious! The rolls were warm and buttered and the lobster was good and fresh. My only critique is that the Lobster Rolls were smaller than I was expecting. But regardless of that, I definitely plan to go back.

I’ve never had a lobster roll before and this was great. The bread was buttery and crispy and nicely filled with lobster. You can either order in to grab a seat and eat in the restaurant or get it to go. I did to go. If you want to try a lobster roll while you’re visiting, I’d definitely recommend stopping

Came back a year later to check in. Still pricey, but that’s understandable and if you’re getting lobster rolls you probably know that. Still delicious. Had the classic roll and clam chowder, both are good. There’s a combo that saves you a couple bucks. The tables to sit and eat outside are a nice touch - great views. Original 2022 review: It's very expensive and doesn't quite taste like Maine, but it's a close second if you want to splurge and treat yourself.
