Customer
service
defines
any
product
or
service.
Those
familiar
with
me
are
aware
that
fine
dining
is
my
personal
work/life
balance.
I'm
almost
on
the
brink
of
needing
a
twelve-step
program
for
my
food
passion...
lol.
Tonight,
I
want
to
talk
about
my
time
at
Oak
Steakhouse
in
Alexandria,
Virginia...
Here’s
how
the
night
unfolded…
Upon
arriving,
the
hostess
and
GM
warmly
welcomed
me,
making
me
feel
valued
right
from
the
start
on
my
first
visit.
I
got
a
seat
with
a
view
of
their
open
kitchen
and
ample
space
to
live
stream
for
my
'Restaurants
USA'
food
group
on
Facebook,
where
I,
along
with
around
twenty
thousand
others,
celebrate
our
shared
passion
for
food.
To
wet
the
appetite,
we
start
with
the
Bramblin
Man…
(two
actually,
sooo
good!).
Deep
Eddy
Vodka,
Blackberry
Infused
Lilith
Blanc,
Blackberry
Liquor,
Orange
Ice.
Then
came
the
Charcuterie
Board.
Berkshire,
Pork
Pate,
Prosciutto,
Mortadella,
Dijon
Mustard,
Cornichon,
Frisée
and
Radish.
Add
to
that,
well…,
just
because…
Italian
Burrata.
Heirloom
Tomatoes,
Basil,
Cucumber,
Radish,
Maldon
Sea
Salt.…
For
the
main,
a
warm,
pink
center,
perfectly
prepared
Snake
River
Farms,
Wagyu
Fillet
accompanied
by
a
Baked
Smoked
Gouda,
Mac,
and
Cheese,
Crispy
Fried
Brussel
Sprouts.
Apple
cider,
Soy
Caramell,
Fried
Shallots.
And
to
finish
it
off…
An
apple
and
cherry
cobbler.
This
Bourbon,
Soaked
Cherries
and
sorghum
Ice
Cream
almost
put
me
into
a
food
coma.
And
of
course,
my
signature
cappuccino…
Thank
you
Todd
Hunt
(GM)
and
Rich
of
The
Indigo
Road
Hospitality
Group
for
the
incredible
customer
service
experience.
I’ll
be
back!
Kudos
to
you
Steve
Palmer
for
putting
together
such
an
incredible
team!
