Awesome third-wave roaster. I first discovered Ngadi while living in Kensington, MD, a couple years ago. The quality is still top-notch and friendly service. This is one of the few coffee shops in the DMV that I trust to make a sweet, juicy, and balanced pour-over. These folks know their craft, well!

Truly a special place with unique coffee. Their beans are light roasted and fruity (not sour). The quality of their products turned me into a regular weekly customer after one visit. I know their hours are a bit strange but I highly recommend giving this local shop at least one try!

Wow! I am blown away by this company. I wanted to provide some unique corporate gifts for a large industry event and I searched local roasters in the area and found Nagadi. I needed 50 bags for gifts. Not only did they ensure a roast date as close to the delivery date as possible, they provided me with branded labels. These gifts were a huge hit!! Love this business, their work ethic and their customer first attitude. It was a pleasure to work with Felix and the team!

It smells so good in here. Amazing single-source coffee beans and deep dedication to making a cup perfectly every time.

Really appreciate Nagadi, as more than meets the eye. Hours are spare - they are open very limited hours though they have really good coffee and espresso drinks and you get a chance to see the roasting equipment and enormous bags of beans from all over the world - it's a good field trip too. I'd also recommend businesses they sell beans to such as Kefa Cafe in Silver Spring, which also has great ice cream! Recommend Nagadi on a Saturday morning when possible. Updated: dropping a few stars. They are cutting out Sunday hours soon from my understanding (correct me if wrong), which means there's just one day to go. The hours were already very limited to sample coffee and have local pastries, such as Greek cookies. I think there are better coffee roasts in the area, including Ceremony and including Grace Street Coffee, and other cafes that may serve national roasts, but which are a little better (though I do like some of the Nagadi roasts served locally). I wish the company much success. Too bad they have fewer and fewer chances to sample where they Roast.

The people working were very nice, it just kind of blows my mind that they don't carry any non-dairy milk (came in hoping to get a cortado). Firstly because there are good reasons not to drink cow milk (lactose intolerance, animal rights, etc.) but also high quality oat milk these days has gotten genuinely good, and people are willing to pay more for it. The only thing I can think of is snobbery?

I really enjoyed coming here! The staff were all very friendly, and I didn't feel pressured to talk. That being said, the communal setup is a great conductor for friendly conversation if that's what you're in the mood for! I'm excited to come back and try some new blends!

The best coffee in Silver Spring, the DMV, Maryland, and possibly the East Coast. I think even George Howell comes second to Nagadi. Beautifully roasted coffee that never disappoints. I would refuse to drink anything else if I had the will power to miss my morning cup.

Best mocha I've ever had. This boutique coffee experience is worth the wait. The pound of beans i tried was also among the best I've sampled in the region. Hat's off.

There’s simply no other coffee shop that can match Nagadi’s quality, service, and value. Whether you’re a coffee expert or beginner, Nagadi is the place to go. I was introduced to Nagadi knowing very little about coffee, and over the years Felix and his staff always took the time to educate me and answer all the questions I had. I cannot recommend this place enough if you like good coffee and good people.

By far the best coffee in the vicinity, everything else is starbucks. Fantastic single origin coffees, which are roasted appropriately, pour overs are prepared as they should be. The La Marzocco is operated skillfully. There is nothing comparable in the area, the only complaint I have is they are only open on the weekends.

Coffee took a while but was worth it! Lots of nice seating options if it isn't too crowded. Very cool to see the actual roasters in the space.

Rotating selection of single origin beans roasted to perfection. Check them out if you like light to medium roasts.

Love this roaster and shop! Moved in nearby by chance and so glad I did. Totally worth checking out on the weekend or ordering beans if you enjoy quality coffee. Thanks to the Nagadi folks!

They don't sell warm breakfast and I wouldn't go there for a first date, but the coffee is absolutely worth it! Definitely try there pour over!

This place is great - only wish I was able to get that delicious Iced Mocha on weekdays as well! But it makes for a nice weekend treat when open!

I am so so so happy I found this wonderful coffee spot. The coffee is delicious and magical. Please never ever ever close because Nagadi Coffee is the best thing about silver spring.

Incredible shot of espresso. Ristretto style which normally isn't my favorite, but their beans are so great. Very knowledgeable staff. Few seating options which is fine considering it's not, nor should it be, a place to sit for hours.

You know a business is serious about their product when they don’t care about aesthetics or decor in their place. Everything is all about the coffee they sell and the coffee is phenomenal! Staff was incredibly friendly and courteous. Will definitely be returning!
