I truly believe they are responsible for the death of my yorkie (Kitty) February 2022 I brought my dog to this vet to get some teeth removed to prevent a gum infection. I specifically told them multiple times to call me before they began pulling ANY teeth so I can approve it. They ended up pulling NINE teeth at once...NINE and did not notify me until AFTER they had done so of course then letting me know that because of the amount of teeth they pulled the bill would be higher. I received a call shortly after that "um Kitty's heart stopped once we took off the anesthesia" what a way to tell me my dog died ! No compassion. . . and after all of this they still tried to bill me for an unsuccessful/fatal surgery that could have been prevented if they listened to their customer...

I’ve had amazing experiences with VCA Coolridge. I’ve taken my dog there for exams, vaccinations and dental cleaning. My dogs teeth were immaculate after her cleaning. Very affordable. Also, props to Monique for helping me with a stray husky. She helped me find the owners through the microchip and contacted them right away. She also called afterwards to follow up to see if there were additional concerns she could help with. She was super helpful throughout the whole process.

Just got back from my 1st visit from cool ridge vet and I must say that I’m truly impressed. Clean facility, amazing staff (“Ms/Auntie Kim”) and the other young lady w/ glasses were amazing. Not to mention Dr. Elijah Davis was extremely informative and knowledgeable. I have a 1 year old Rottweiler and a 9 week old teacup Yorkie and they both were treated like family and not just another patient. Prior to coming here my Rottie frequently attended Al-Lynn Animal vet - I’m telling you, the service and facilities are like night and day. I’ve definitely found my dogs a new vet.

My pup has been with VCA Coolridge for over a year and we are so happy with the staff and services they provide. Winston is a high energy poodle but they handle him with patience and care. They are thorough in there explanations and are great with calling and checking in if he had a serious procedure or issue.

Love this place. Very personable staff, honest and knowledgeable. They were so supportive at end of life for my Rottie Morocco. Now we have Mangochi and they continue to to be the greatest. Won't go anywhere else.

I was thrilled by the care which was given to my cat. Also, I was so happy they were able to treat my fur baby without cutting her fur. Overall, very good first-time experience!

Yesterday was our first visit and it went well. I’m pleased and I believe both, diesel & blaze are as well. I was originally going to Clinton Veterinary hospital & let’s just say the service is like night and day. I actually felt the love coming from each person at VCA Coolridge office. I was allowed to accompany my dogs in the room and watch each exam/shot that was given. I am happy we transferred doctors.

They where helpful but my dog still passed away I love him.

I Thank the staff and vets of Coolridge for they treated myself and my dog Maddie with love and understanding. They took us in even though I came in on the wrong date, and I Thank them again and again.

Always greeted with a smile. Staff really cares about our babies (animals). Additionally, staff goes the extra mile to ensure babies are taken care of and clients are happy! Extremely knowledgeable! I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else!

We are absolutely THRILLED with the care and love Dr. Davis and the team show to our foster pets. No matter the issue, we are always able to get an appointment in an appropriate time period. When we arrive, they're friendly, prompt, efficient, and loving. They take the time to listen to our concerns, shows the pets affection and treat them as if they were their own. We have all the time we need to ask questions and Dr. Davis makes space to ensure we have everything we need. Every time we leave an appointment we feel that we have received the best care and attention possible.

Super happy with our first visit! They took great care of our new puppy and they have a great puppy wellness plan to ensure she gets all her vaccines and check ups on time. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend VCA Coolridge!

Took incredible care of my pup as she underwent dental surgery. They maintained positive contact before, throughout, and after the operation. They sent before and after photos of her teeth and I am so excited to know that she is going to feel so much better.

When young, my dog Remee was a jerk to strangers, especially at the vet. Everyone still treated him with love and kindness. He’s 16 now. Given his medical issues, Dr. Maa very tactfully prepared me for next steps with his care. She makes sure Remee has the medicine he needs to be happy and comfortable. Suggests different medication when necessary. Responds quickly to emails. All staff is kind and responsive.

Incredible vet team! They take the utmost time and care to make sure our dog and cat feel comfortable and safe. Their respect for animals in unparalleled. 10/10 recommend!

The customer service is poor. They switch schedules and veterinarian on their clients without proper notifications. They have turned care away for insured customers. I do not recommend . We all deserve to feel like we getting the best care when we are paying customers. Who is Jamie Aaron ? I was already used to my regular vet.

Not my favorite. My cat recently passed from something and I took him here two years ago. I find out after he passed that there were alternatives to treating what he had with prescription food as opposed to the 7k surgery that VCA suggested. They were not helpful after I spent over 1k on ONLY tests and told them I couldn’t afford an additional 7k.

They made Benji feel comfortable I like their style very patient with animals

VCA Coolridge is an awesome place. All of the staff members are warm and welcoming. They treat my pet and I like family.

I am traveling to the USVI and my existing vet advised me that they no longer offer 'Health Certificates' and that I should call around to find a vet that does. I live in the Upper Marlboro area and looked up VCA Coolridge Animal Hospital reviews and decided to give it a shot. All I can say is 'wow'! The front office staff, vet techs and doctor are so personable, welcoming and attentive. My Shih Tzu was treated love and care in addition to us getting the needed documentation for travel.

Great staff. Easy to work with my schedule or even emergencies. My Husky has been in the best of hands without feeling like I am being gauged of my money's, honest facility.

Dr Dearie and her vet tech provided the best vet care I have ever experienced with my pup. My dog is very anxious at the vet and they both took their time to make sure she was comfortable and remove as much potential stress as possible. I highly recommend.

I didn't start taking my pup here till she was already about 14 or 15. Dr. Maa always made time for her when I had issues and always offered multiple suggestions to extend her life and deal with her various issues. Due to covid restrictions we were not allowed in, but she made time at the end of the day to call and address any issues. When I had to make the difficult decision to put my pup down they fit me in the same day, but my kid decided to end her fight at home anyways. Although I don't want another pup, I highly recommend Coolridge, Dr. Maa, and the awesome staff!

Brought my Goldendoodle because or an ear infection. Let's see how he progress. Everyone is very attentive. I do feel the cost for treatment is reasonable.
